This hotel is excellent and offers great value for money. The rooms are very clean, and they have a variety of room types at different price points, catering to diverse needs. The staff are all very enthusiastic. This time, the front desk even proactively upgraded my room for free based on the day's availability, which I really appreciate! The hotel is conveniently located near Sanlitun and Liangma Bridge, an area with many large shopping malls, so the location couldn't be better.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at in Beijing, and I honestly recommend everyone to experience it if you get the chance – it's an absolutely top-notch experience! This hostel is fantastic! The cleanliness is superb, with rooms and common areas spotless. The beds are soft and have privacy curtains, which is a huge plus. Facilities are excellent, with plenty of charging ports and lockers, and 24-hour hot water is a lifesaver. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. The location is super convenient too, close to the subway and surrounded by many food options. The value for money is unbeatable – it's totally worth staying here for your trip!

Pros:
it's aprox located few block from the nearest metro station (heyi).
There are supermarkets, locals restaurants and mc Donalds between the station and the hotel.
The neighborhood is nice, quite, Peaceful
It's 24hrs reception, it's includes amenities (shower gel, shampoo, handsoap, comb) housekeeping service daily, 2 bottles of water.
There is kettle available, laundry and dryer (1st floor)
A/c, hairdryer, it's quite big our double room. Shower with hot water.
Bed linen and duvets are very comfortable. Big White towels. Our room had a window with net to avoid mosquitos which was great
There was a breakfast available everyday for an extra price, but we are not early birds so, we never use it 🫣
There is a lift that works only with you room card, hotel has videosurveillance. We felt safe.
Cons:
Walls are thin, you can hear people noise on the corridor. Didn't mind it cause happens during the day. During night it's ok.
Room is old, walls and sink. As long as the services (shower, toilet) work for me is fine. Didn't have any issues.
Reception people are friendly and nice but don't speak English so much. And we don't speak Chinese, so we manage to use Google translate to comunicate ☺️

I had an excellent visit to the Mutianyu Great Wall with MUBUS! It is a highly reliable tour provider with good prices. Their guides, Kevin and Mike, are very dedicated and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend MUBUS if you come to Beijing. A day before, Mike contacted me by WhatsApp and email and sent me detailed information about the meeting point and things to prepare for the visit. Kevin was my tour leader. He briefed us on the two different tracks and the transport options available and gave us very useful tips to make sure we saw the important landmarks. This save me lots of time and enegry. As I was very afraid that I would not be able to get back to the bus on time, Kevin was very kind and he told me not to worry and to call him if I am late, so that he could arrange for me to get on a later bus. The return trip back to Beijing was also very prompt and organised. I am very happy to book my Great Wall tour with MUBUS. A big thank you to Shannon and the team at MUBUS!

This hotel has an absolutely superb location!
I'm not sure why it's called a 'restaurant' (饭店), I didn't specifically ask. I also didn't see any F&B department, so maybe it's been repurposed?
Facilities: The decor is very simple and basic. Nothing too special, but it's very clean.
Hygiene: Quite clean. The room was thoughtfully arranged and tidied, and there was even a small tea set.
Environment: The exterior looks beautiful, but the interior decoration is just average.
Service: Excellent. They specifically called me before I arrived to confirm and mentioned that the room had a slight smell of disinfectant, in case I minded. I didn't smell it when I got there. But I was really touched and warmed by the front desk's gesture. I especially want to commend the young man at the front desk; he was very conscientious and responsible.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the area. It's incredibly convenient, very close to the Forbidden City. Plus, as soon as you step out of the alley, you're at Longfu Temple. Pretty good!
Environment: Great location, convenient transportation.
Facilities: As a youth hostel, it only provides the essentials.
Ambiance: Elegant and thoughtfully decorated.
Service: The front desk staff were very friendly.
My personal take: The location is fantastic. As an international youth hostel, its primary purpose has always been to offer backpackers a platform for exchange and to make new friends. Every youth hostel has its own unique character, and it's not about having perfect services or facilities.
I was very satisfied with my hotel experience! The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were complete. The staff were warm and attentive, always resolving any issues promptly. It's great value for money, and I would choose to stay here again next time. The 24-hour shuttle service was also very convenient.

The hotel environment is really good, with convenient transportation nearby – there's a bus stop right outside. The airport transfer service is also excellent, making it perfect for a layover. The room wasn't cold at all, and I had a very comfortable stay.

The hotel is clean and hygienic, and complimentary bottled water is provided in the room. It's super convenient as the subway station is right across the pedestrian bridge. The front desk staff and the service ladies were incredibly friendly and helpful, always enthusiastic about resolving any issues. It's only two subway stops to Universal Studios, and there's a convenience store and a snack bar downstairs. Overall, a very satisfying travel experience. Friends planning a trip should definitely consider staying here.

Friendly people, cool neighbour hood if you want to be in a residential area. A shop which opens early and closes late is just downstairs, which even has Somer freshly baked Chinese breakfast items (buns with Chinese leek &egg, chow mein in the evening etc).
Cleanliness was ok, but could be improved.
Comfortable bed.

GGuest UserThe staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was well-cleaned.
The location is between Shichahai and Nanluoguxiang, both of which are about a 10-minute walk away. It's also fun to explore the hutongs off the main road.
The amenities, which were hard to find online, included two plastic bottles of water, face towels, bath towels, slippers, cups, toothbrush set, shampoo, body soap, comb, soap, electric kettle, and converter plug.
However, although there is WiFi, I couldn't connect it with my Japanese smartphone no matter what I did, and the shower room in room 2209 that I stayed in had a terrible sewage smell, which was a big minus. I couldn't stand it, so I asked the staff to change my room.
Apart from that, I think it's a good hotel for the price.
CchenmiayThe facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the lighting design is thoughtful. The bathroom facilities are excellent: the bathroom has a wet/dry separation design, the shower head has smooth water flow, the water temperature is stable, and the toiletries are of good quality and very pleasant to use.
Clean and tidy: The king room I booked was very clean, the sheets and duvet covers were white and odorless, and there was no grime in the bathroom. Overall, it gave a comfortable and reassuring feeling.

Jjingcai-wangluThe mattress had the perfect balance of soft and firm; I could sink right in without any back pain. The 80-count long-staple cotton sheets felt like sleeping on clouds. After a late night exploring Guijie Street, I hit the pillow and was out like a light! The room's minimalist design was great, with a bathroom featuring separate wet and dry areas, a high-speed hairdryer, and an illuminated makeup mirror – such a thoughtful touch! The front desk staff were lovely, even recommending a hidden coffee shop in the hutongs. And the location? Just a 3-minute walk to Yonghe Temple – incredibly convenient!

LLiulixiaofeixiaThe hot water was fantastic, truly fantastic – it's one of my absolute favorite features here. The air conditioning was also powerful, the bathroom was clean, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly.
NNakakuboThe general look of the hotel is not so good, it's old and not well preserved, with worn out painting and dirty carpet in the corridors. The hotel is well located, close to the metro station, and in front of the Heaven Temple, making it easy to commute around Beijing. For travalers looking for a cheap option to stay in Beijing with a comfortable bed and hot shower, it's worth the value. For people who are looking for western standards, it could be not appropriated.

GGuest Useri would like to thank the hotel staff a lot for being accomodating and helpful to our group as there were miscommunications as we didn't know chinese and relied on translation apps that weren't accurate for the most part. i acknowledge that they did extra things that came with having guests like us who couldn't understand chinese (ex. how to work the washing machine for example, or letting us borrow their wechat to deliver food the first night because we were hungry and there was no place to eat that was open on that day-CNY) and they helped as in every step as much as they can, which i really appreciated.
the hotel cleans the rooms every 3rd day too but they always give new towels, and water bottles and slippers every day. which i think are very kind of them. the rooms are VERY spacy too which is great. the beds were comfortable as well. you can also request toothbrushes if you need more. there;s a lso a very good and restaurant next to the hotel that is open very late if anyone was wondering (esp since the location is a bit far from others). the washing machine was very confusing though because we would wait for the whole time it would say it would take to finish, but when we would check after that stated time, it would add like another hour. and it would do that every time so we had to physically ask to override the machine everytime we would need our clothes.
only downside was there was miscommunication with communicating through trip.com and the hotel because i would message trip for help and they would say that the hotel said one thing but then it wouldn't exactly be correct. (like my family wanted to get the coat rack fixed because it was broken and it was maybe 3 days before it was fixed--the problem was trip told us it was already fixed in the 2nd day? so it was a bit confusing when we arrived. the hotel staff were very kind though and fixed it on the 3rd when we specifically went up to the front desk for help). i also think trip.com should maybe not put that breakfast is available as the hotel breakfast is a bit debatable and not a full meal. my father need FULL meals for his medication so one factor for our booking this hotel was because there was breakfast available. but the hotel only provides a few fruits, boiled eggs, and plain toast. so we often got breakfast outside still.
overall, the hotel itself and hotel staff was very good and comfortable to stay with! thank you!
