I'm not sure why it's called a 'restaurant' (饭店), I didn't specifically ask. I also didn't see any F&B department, so maybe it's been repurposed?
Facilities: The decor is very simple and basic. Nothing too special, but it's very clean.
Hygiene: Quite clean. The room was thoughtfully arranged and tidied, and there was even a small tea set.
Environment: The exterior looks beautiful, but the interior decoration is just average.
Service: Excellent. They specifically called me before I arrived to confirm and mentioned that the room had a slight smell of disinfectant, in case I minded. I didn't smell it when I got there. But I was really touched and warmed by the front desk's gesture. I especially want to commend the young man at the front desk; he was very conscientious and responsible.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the area. It's incredibly convenient, very close to the Forbidden City. Plus, as soon as you step out of the alley, you're at Longfu Temple. Pretty good!

The room itself is spacious and bright, with great natural light and ventilation. The layout with a sofa and dedicated work area is very well-planned, making it convenient for business travelers. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay, always ready to help and answer questions, and even offered local travel tips. There was plenty of hot water, a stable shower temperature, and a full set of toiletries – all the little details were thoughtfully covered. The pricing is transparent and reasonable; I definitely got a high-quality experience for the money. I've already recommended it to my friends!

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is located strategically between ShiChaHai and Nanluoguxiang. It is within walking distance to Shichahai Metro Station Exit A1 and A2 which both exit without escalator or lift. Upon check-in we entered our room and a very stinky smell inside the room just made us felt very uncomfortable. When we checked the bathroom the stinky smell even worst. We then asked the housekeeper to spray air fresherner in our room and bathroom. Then we left our room and went out for sightseeing. However, after we came back from sightseeing then we entered our room the same stinky smell appeared. We then complained at the front desk and was told there was no same room type available unless we pay extra to upgrade our room to different type. We were told all hotel in Beijing near the alley was considered old and having stinky smell was a norm. The room was extremely small and no space to put 2 big luggages. We have to find ways to use 1 side bed table to put one of our luggage and to get our clothing and toileterries out. The bathroom was stinky before and after we took shower. We have to ensure the glass door was closed all the time as the air ventilator inside the bathroom not really functioning. The wall of the bathroom was slimy and the one of the 2 plastic slippers was slimy too. We found mould around the corners of the bathroom and outside the bathroom that appeared at the surface of the bedroom wall. The centralised air conditioner was being controlled and only hot air came out everytime we turn on the air conditioner. Hence, the whole room was hot and humid. We have to open the window and worst still there were locals smoking outside of our hotel room window. There were also noises outside the window where we can hear the conversation of the locals who stood outside of our hotel room window. The bed mattress was very hard as if we were sleeping on the wooden bed. In the end, we couldn't sleep well the whole night. We have to put our winter clothing, the towels and the blanket at our back just to make the bed more softer for our back. After the first night, we requested to change room due to stinky smell but failed. The housekeeper proposed to help us to sanitize the bathroom with strong smell liquid chlorine when we went out for
sightseeing. Upon returning back to our room, we can smell the smell of liquid chlorine but the stinky smell had reduced. There were limited space to hang clothing especially during winter, so we have to find places whee we can hang our light clothing like t-shirt. Then we saw the air-cond vent was very dusty same goes to the hanging light bulb was full of dust. The side table underneath the TV was dusty too. We have to use alcohol sanitizer to sanitize the table and side table. Overall, the hotel is located within the tourist spot but there were few staircases at the hotel entrance and 2 small staircases along the corridors lead to our hotel room which made it a bit inconvenience when you carried heavy luggages.

However, the soundproofing is terrible; the constant loud noise from the water pipes near the window severely affected my sleep. The ceiling height is also low, and the air conditioning's heating wasn't effective. There's no elevator, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. Also, delivery services don't bring food to your door; you have to pick it up at the front desk.

Jjingcai-wangluThe mattress had the perfect balance of soft and firm; I could sink right in without any back pain. The 80-count long-staple cotton sheets felt like sleeping on clouds. After a late night exploring Guijie Street, I hit the pillow and was out like a light! The room's minimalist design was great, with a bathroom featuring separate wet and dry areas, a high-speed hairdryer, and an illuminated makeup mirror – such a thoughtful touch! The front desk staff were lovely, even recommending a hidden coffee shop in the hutongs. And the location? Just a 3-minute walk to Yonghe Temple – incredibly convenient!

Environment: Very convenient transportation, both bus and subway are right nearby. There's also a breakfast place just dozens of meters away, which is super handy.

I forgot to take photos of the room, but the hotel is right across from the Temple of Heaven Park entrance, on Beijing's central axis.
Definitely a hotel I'd choose to stay at again next time! 👍

GGuest Useri would like to thank the hotel staff a lot for being accomodating and helpful to our group as there were miscommunications as we didn't know chinese and relied on translation apps that weren't accurate for the most part. i acknowledge that they did extra things that came with having guests like us who couldn't understand chinese (ex. how to work the washing machine for example, or letting us borrow their wechat to deliver food the first night because we were hungry and there was no place to eat that was open on that day-CNY) and they helped as in every step as much as they can, which i really appreciated.
the hotel cleans the rooms every 3rd day too but they always give new towels, and water bottles and slippers every day. which i think are very kind of them. the rooms are VERY spacy too which is great. the beds were comfortable as well. you can also request toothbrushes if you need more. there;s a lso a very good and restaurant next to the hotel that is open very late if anyone was wondering (esp since the location is a bit far from others). the washing machine was very confusing though because we would wait for the whole time it would say it would take to finish, but when we would check after that stated time, it would add like another hour. and it would do that every time so we had to physically ask to override the machine everytime we would need our clothes.
only downside was there was miscommunication with communicating through trip.com and the hotel because i would message trip for help and they would say that the hotel said one thing but then it wouldn't exactly be correct. (like my family wanted to get the coat rack fixed because it was broken and it was maybe 3 days before it was fixed--the problem was trip told us it was already fixed in the 2nd day? so it was a bit confusing when we arrived. the hotel staff were very kind though and fixed it on the 3rd when we specifically went up to the front desk for help). i also think trip.com should maybe not put that breakfast is available as the hotel breakfast is a bit debatable and not a full meal. my father need FULL meals for his medication so one factor for our booking this hotel was because there was breakfast available. but the hotel only provides a few fruits, boiled eggs, and plain toast. so we often got breakfast outside still.
overall, the hotel itself and hotel staff was very good and comfortable to stay with! thank you!

GGuest UserThe homestay we stayed at was very clean and perfect for a family trip. We drove from Tianjin, and it was very convenient. It's really close to Sanlitun Taikoo Li, making dining and shopping super easy. The place itself was spotless, and having an iron and refrigerator was a huge plus. After a long day of sightseeing, it was great to relax in the bathtub. It's definitely ideal for families. The manager was also very helpful, giving us tips on how to save on parking.
