Haiyou Hotel is truly a hidden gem among budget hotels! The price is affordable, but the experience is incredibly good value. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable – it completely exceeded my expectations. For travelers on a budget who still want quality, this is definitely a top choice! The front desk staff was so warm and helpful! She proactively upgraded my room and even provided detailed information on local eateries and transportation routes. Any requests I had during my stay were addressed incredibly quickly, making me feel right at home.

This hostel is clean but location is a bit hard to find . There is coffee shop on the reception and nice roof top for your recreation. All amenities is okay with free towels, sheet and linen . A lot of cheap restaurants surrounding .

The hotel is conveniently located. The staff were very helpful and patient with me when I encountered problems with my wifi. The rooms were clean and considering the price I paid, the hotel is good enough. If I ever return to Xining, I will stay there again.

There is also a huge projector with a very complete range of software, including Tencent, iQiyi, Bilibili, Apple, Android, etc., and it is very clear, and the speakers are also very good. Great! 6. Intelligent voice control allows you to turn on and off lights and curtains without having to get out of bed. It is very convenient! Location: Near Xining Station, the distance from the airport is also suitable. There are many specialty food and specialties nearby, you can eat and buy as much as you want. There is also a large shopping mall very close by. The location is very good, and there are many food places opposite. Service: The hotel staff is so nice, very warm and considerate. The local food they recommended to us is especially delicious and the communication was very pleasant!

The location of the hotel is excellent, a few minutes by taxi to the subway station, and the surrounding restaurants and convenience stores are all available. Nice room with view from neighborhood. It's 30min walk from downtown but there are plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. I was the only guest during the 4 nights I was there, so not much of an atmosphere despite the nice social areas. The heating system (underfloor) works only in the night so it's a bit chill during the day. There are hot showers and possibly of doing laundry (10yuan a load).

The hotel is in a good location, with the Daxin Street Night Market just 500 to 600 meters away. It is very convenient for eating, shopping and taking a bus. The only inconvenience is that parking is a bit far away, so you have to park across the street. The parking lot security guard is very responsible and enthusiastic.

Pro points - The beds are soft and comfy, good showers with very hot water. Rooms were clean. The buses from outside connect well to the Muslim area of the city and the restaurants nearby are nice. Staff are friendly. Bad points - We booked a non smoking room, all the rooms available were infact non smoking and yet the whole place absolutely stank of cigarettes. We moved rooms because after dinner we came back to a haze of smoke in the room, everyone must be smoking. I live in China, I realise this isn't uncommon, but in that case don't advertise non smoking rooms.

Literally minutes away from the railway station and the main bus terminal. Room is spacious with lots of storage space. Hot shower works well. Wifi is average speed at around 10mbps (slower when using VPN). Plenty of eateries nearby. Buffet breakfast was ok and filling with decent choices. Only issues are the elevators being super slow and found some hairs in the room (cleanliness issue).
