The location is super convenient and accessible. Checkin and checkout were super easy and the room was cheap for a private room - it's considerably larger than it looks on the pictures! It's clean but not pristine and the mattress is comfty. I would have appreciated a bedframe but for that price and for two nights it was enough. Can definitely recommend.

Location: Close to the train station Cleanliness: All clean. Service: Very friendly, I asked about nearby food and they gave me recommendations (explaining which options are both good and bad). Facilities: Water, drinks and snacks were very helpful. Bikes to borrow on a first-come-first-served basis. There were 4 available during my stay. Luggage storage was free and useful. I ended up storing 3 items both before check-in and after check-out. Overall was surpsised by big size of room, shower was quite large.

This time I stayed at the Good People Hostel on Guolian Road. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Along the way, you can see 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and PX Mart convenience stores. Further along Zhongshan Road, MOS Burger, McDonald's, and Farmers' Association Supermarket are also nearby. The living amenities are quite good. Welcome to experience this accommodation!

Fairly good place to stay for a short solo stay in Kaohsiung. Facilities are a bit on the older side, but the location can't be beat.

Brilliant hotel situated 3 minutes from the beach and at the bottom of the main street night market. Bus stop within a few minutes walk. Great discount price for scooter rentals. We were upgraded to balcony room without request. We had daily fresh towels and water and bins changed. No recycling options, all waste in one general bin which I didn't like. Water fountain on first floor. Would highly recommend staying here.

I stayed at 85 Cape Inn in Kaohsiung for two nights and had an amazing experience. The staff offered warm and friendly service, and I was pleasantly upgraded upon arrival. The room was comfortable and clean. Its location is excellent, close to major attractions ( Dream mall, Night Market, Dome, Cijin Island,Dragon Tiger Temple)and convenient transport options (Green or Red MRT, Ferry Terminal).

The check in was unnecessary complicated, accompanied by lenghty emails. There seem to be too many rules. It was almost impossible to use the expresso maker at the reception, as there were no cups provided, with the instructions that the hotel tries to be eco friendly and we should use the cups in our room. I was on the top floor so going up to get a cup and then having to return it was just impractical. The room was quite noisy, as it is next to the main Boulevard and even facing towards the side street.

I stayed in a double room on the second floor. The room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, there were windows for good lighting, and there was a dressing table for girls to make up. The bathroom was also cleaned and the space was large. Self-service check-in, bath towels, toothbrushes, paper towels and other daily necessities can be taken by themselves. The location is very good, only 10 minutes walk from Hualien Railway Station, and there is a full connection opposite, breakfast shop, restaurant, very convenient.

The room was lovely and spacious, well decorated and had a lovely bathroom and free amenities. The location was ideal in the heart of the city right next to the night markets and MRT stations. We would stay again if we came back to the city☺️

I booked a double room for one night on Wednesday for $828. I read reviews saying that the higher floors (5F) were quieter, so I noted in the booking that I hoped to be assigned to the 5F and not a corner room. I checked in around 10 pm that night. It was difficult to park my motorcycle, and the hotel wouldn't give me a refund. The downside was that the corner room, 501, was next to the emergency exit. I thought it would be quiet, but around midnight, there was a constant, loud noise from the top floor, like a motor running, which disturbed my sleep. I stayed at this hotel for the first time and had an uncomfortable and sleepless night.
