"First of all, unbeatable price and location. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who showed me the amenities and to my room. On the next day, there was another receptionist who was equally as helpful. She took the initiative to recommend as many sights, food, and even the oldest pharmacy in the world (circa 1221). I have attached what she highlighted to me.
If you’re a no-frills traveler who needs a convenient and comfortable place to stay, this is what you’ll be looking for.
One tip when locating the hostel, don’t expect a large sign; instead it has a nondescript door with other tenants on other floors."

"This hostel is definitely my favorite hostel EVERRR the stairs are so convenient that you do not need to climb so chaotic (the only hostel i would sleep at the upper deck without any concerns on my knee) the room is LARGEEE and WIDEEE the bed is bigger than normal hostel and the height between two beds are very appropriate not too close. Staff are very kind on providing me information of the hostel and transport mode.The room is also clean where duvets will be changed or folded everyday! What a outstanding services!

"Basic facilities are just the room choice. Although you can still ask for a quieter one, Florence is more lively at night, so the sound insulation is a little bit worse and it will be noisy, but the counter is very warm and friendly. The overall cp value is high. The hotel also sends a small gift."

"The hotel's proximity to the station was incredibly convenient. My only minor gripe was with the entrance lock; it was a key code system, and the instructions on the paper were in a foreign language with several numbers listed, making it hard to figure out which code to use. I struggled to get in, and ultimately, I only managed because someone happened to come out from inside. This made me hesitant to go out at night, fearing I might not be able to get back in. On the positive side, the room, including the bathroom, was exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the provided slippers. What surprised me most was that soft drinks like Coke and Fanta Orange were complimentary, just like water. This was confirmed during check-in."

"I took the tram from the airport and walked from the nearest station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella St.) to the hotel without any problems.
I took the old, narrow elevator to the 4th floor, where I was greeted by a friendly hotel staff member and shown to my room. The room was very small, and the shower room/toilet was also very compact.
It had the bare necessities so it was not a problem for me.
I heard the breakfast area was nice, but unfortunately I was only staying overnight so I couldn't go.
The hair dryer was simple, so if you are particular about hair dryers, you may want to bring your own.
The location is great, but considering the quality of the room, I feel it could have been a little cheaper."

AalinatravellingI traveled as a solo female traveler, and unfortunately, only one out of three nights was peaceful. I want to warn others about several management and safety issues I encountered here.
On Trip.com, only mixed dorms were available.The platform lists two types of 6-bed dorms: one explicitly labeled 'Mixed Gender' (which I booked) and another generic '6-Bed Dormitory Room' without any gender indication. Since there was no 'Female-only' option, I assumed these were essentially the same thing. I ended up alone in a room with three men, which felt quite unsafe and intimidating. My sleep was constantly interrupted by loud neighbors and the person in the bunk below me shaking the bed all night
When I requested a move to a female dorm or a more balanced mixed room the next morning, the staff was unhelpful. They claimed they couldn't move me because I hadn't booked through their website, even though female beds were available!! They initially demanded I pay the full price again for the next two nights.
After contacting Trip.com support, the hostel still refused to cooperate. Eventually, a more reasonable receptionist helped resolve the issue peacefully.
On my last night, a large group of school students arrived. They were incredibly loud, and it took over an hour after ”quiet hours” began for teachers and staff to finally calm them down. Be aware of this.
Cleanliness: Rooms are relatively clean.
Self-Service: You must make your own bed, which is very difficult if you are assigned a top bunk.
Extra Costs: Towels are not included and cost 1.9€.
Payment: They are strictly card-only.
Pros: There is free hot water at reception, a luggage room, and the location is conveniently close to the Campo di Marte station.
If you are a solo female traveler, be aware that management might prioritize profit over your safety and comfort :)

MMaria MDAmazing stay. 10 min drive to a parking in the City Center in Florence. Kids loved it, they were tired of hotels, this is a tiny house, lots of families around, camper vans, playground, shop, pool, laundry.
The tiny house is super clean, spotless, probably brand new. Very efficient, well organised. We took a premium one, it is already not large for a family. Spotless linen and towels, all duvets were sealed in a bag, looks dry cleaned, fresh. All tableware, cooking ware and cutlery provided. Air conditioner in both rooms, mosquito nets, proper water pressure and hot water.
Very nice attentive staff. We checking late in the evening, which was a plus for us, we saw a checking queue in the morning it looked very long.

MModouletianFacilities: I was quite surprised by how large this hotel is; it has two buildings, a pool, and a gym. However, it's essentially set up like a youth hostel. The room had a balcony, but it was connected to the adjacent room, which meant a lack of privacy.
Environment: It's located by a road, with a bar across the street that stays open quite late. It can get a bit noisy with young people gathering there.
Service: Check-in is after 3 PM, and check-out is at 10 AM. You can't check in early if it's outside these hours, and there's a charge of 3 euros per piece if you want to store your luggage after check-out.
Cleanliness: Generally acceptable! It was cleaned daily.
Florence isn't a large city, so most places are within walking distance. It's very close to the Central Market, which is convenient for grabbing a bite to eat.

AApex08The staff were quick to respond and resolve the issue with the towels, which I really appreciated. The cleaners were friendly, and the reception and bar staff were approachable and easy to talk to.
The hotel offers plenty of amenities. The rooftop pool has a great view and is a perfect spot to relax and take in Florence.
I also liked that they host a pasta night every evening. It’s especially convenient when you’re tired from a day of touring and just want to stay in and relax.

The location is quite convenient as well, about a 17-minute walk to the Duomo, and just a few steps from Redi Station. Like 1-2 min walk.
Breakfast is à la carte. I wouldn’t recommend including it in your stay if you’re there for more than three nights, as the menu doesn’t offer much variety.
The place has a social, student-friendly vibe. However, if you’re looking for a quiet stay with minimal foot traffic and more privacy, you might want to consider other options.

GGuest UserThis hostel completely exceeded my expectations for its price point. It's located in a monastery, which you can actually visit, and they offer a free breakfast of coffee and a croissant. The location is super convenient, close to both the train station and major attractions, making it perfect for backpackers like me. The only downside is that the soundproofing in the rooms isn't great.

GGuest UserThe staff were incredibly helpful and patient, truly outstanding. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were excellent, and the hairdryer was pretty powerful. This Ostello Bello's bar being connected to the accommodation can get a bit noisy, but they provide earplugs which helps. I stayed right above the bar, and while there was some noise, it wasn't too disruptive. And even though there weren't curtains on the beds, it was still fine.

GGuest UserA nice little hotel near the Uffizi. I'd like to point out that the breakfasts are excellent for Italy, as they even have boiled eggs. The donuts and coffee are delicious, and you can make your own cornetto in any flavor. There's also a small selection of fresh vegetables, cheese, and cold meats for a sandwich.
The bed is comfortable, there's a refrigerator, and the air conditioning works (both cooling and heating modes are definitely available.)
On the downside: the shower area's design is unclear. Everything flows out of the ”cabin,” mercilessly flooding the entire bathroom. The shower head flows in all directions, so it's unclear which way you should stand to be completely washed. And the damp smell is also not particularly appealing.
