The staff is nice but some don’t. The room has too much dust and the blanket is so smelling. Actually, the hotel should clear out before new customers come in. The sink in toilet is clogged!!!!!!. Despite the amenities, the location is super convenient and it’s nearby the Brussels Noord Station and the bus stop(FlixBus) but a bit far away from the city center. I could arrive the train station and bus stop in 15 minutes and 5 minutes by walk!

It's not our first stay here, and it won't be the last. Honestly, everything is beyond perfect. The staff professionalism, the cleanliness, the rooms, the breakfast, the small detail that gives you a little joy as the welcome chocolate walnut warm cookies. Always a pleasure to stay at the double tree by hilton.

It is a small but well-equipped hotel. It is a 3-5 minute walk from the subway station. Unfortunately, there are no shops or convenience stores nearby, so it is not convenient for purchasing supplies. There are some snacks and snacks sold on the first floor of the hotel. Frozen pizza, there is a water dispenser on the first floor of the hotel, and it is a sparkling water machine, which is a plus.

The location is great, very close to the Grand Place and the train station. For a hotel in this price range in Europe, the rooms are quite spacious. The front desk has a charming European decor, but the soundproofing of the room windows could be better.
I stayed in ibis Brussel midi only 1 night. I got really good service from staff. There are several services provided in hotel, including bar zone and common space. Moreover, it’s very close to the midi station and market, thus it is very convenient to stay. However, it takes only 15 minute from other attractions if you wish to walk. I recommend to stay here.

Good hotel, room, location and service. But the bed is tooooooo small. And I would suggest not to choose rooms on 7th floor cause there is a rooftop bar on 8th floor... That is nightmare!
I chose this hotel for its proximity to the Midi train station in Belgium.
It was an excellent choice; it's less than a 5-minute walk away, allowing us to get there without having to drive.
The hotel is also located about 15 minutes from the historic city center, making it easy to reach various tourist attractions if you're willing to walk.
I really enjoyed this accommodation; the value for money is remarkable.
Add to that the friendly staff, and you have a winning combination.

Location is within walking distance to city. But the service attitude at the reception was bad. So terrible that I cannot believe this is Citadines standard. Both staff treated us like we owed them a living, don't even bother to smile or greet guests. Left us hanging around without bothering to help for more than 1hour! Luggages, please carry by yourself, even to wheel it to their holding room..absolutely no service. Worst than hostels. Citadine management, I hope u are reading this.

The hotel's modern and well-equipped apartments provide a homey atmosphere, ideal for both short and long-term stays. Its central location allows easy access to key attractions, shopping, and dining options. Guests can enjoy the proximity to the lively Avenue Louise and the picturesque Place du Grand Sablon. The staff is known for their professionalism and friendly service, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free experience. However, some visitors have noted occasional maintenance issues, which the management promptly addresses. Overall, Citadines Toison d'Or Brussels promises a satisfying stay.

The location is perfect, right opposite the central station, only 200 meters to the entrance. The chicken ciabatta at the restaurant downstairs is delicious, and the Melbourne coffee in the station across the street is also good. It's very close to the Grand Place, the art gallery, and the arcades. Plus, there's a Carrefour downstairs where you can buy plenty of food and drinks. The room we got even had an extra small bed and two bathrooms, so it was very spacious – perfect for traveling with kids.

LLu2WI stayed for three nights. On the second day, I left the room around 11 AM, placing the 'Please Make Up Room' sign on the door. However, upon returning in the afternoon, I found the room had not been serviced. When I complained to the front desk staff on the afternoon shift, they not only claimed I hadn't hung the sign but also suggested I hadn't read the hotel's information board requirements, stating that the housekeeping staff had already finished their shift. Frankly, I just wanted an apology and an assurance that cleaning would be arranged for the next day. Instead, they told me to read the information board and essentially blamed me for improper scheduling. The next morning, when I reminded the front desk staff on the morning shift about cleaning, I immediately received an apology. I suspect the afternoon shift staff's communication skills (or perhaps English proficiency) might not have been very strong. Overall, the hotel was clean, but the value for money was quite mediocre. I'm not sure how it earned its 4-star rating; it felt more like a 3-star hotel, typical of one near a train station.
AAnonymous UserHere are some details that the hotel could manage better:
1. Water pressure not strong enough
2. Only 4 hanger hooks on the bathroom door, not enough and far to get the clothes after shower.
3. Artist decor shelves look cool, but not practical for travellers. We need a work desk instead. The tea table is too small for two people to dine, and not even great for doing work. Socket is far, and you will need a 2-3m cable to connect your it to your laptop in the sofa area.
4. Check in process took an hour to be done, but there is no chair for the check-in costumer. The city tax was mistakenly collected. When I showed the prepaid proof, I was asked to send an email to the company to ask for file an investigation. Later in 15mins, I got immediately refund after I asked of if I should contact my travel agent. The room keycard failed to access the first room. It took the receptionists to figure out the solution and I got a new card for another room in 15mins. The efficiency was very low and not smooth at all.
5. We went back to the room after feeling cold stepping out of the hotel around 10am. Later found out two housekeepers started to vacuum the floor and clear the bathroom. We wanted to change our clothes and use the toilet, but they don’t understand. The lady went in and out the bathroom showing impatience and long face. We felt disrupting their work, and we could only get changed in front of the housekeepers in the living room and excuse the lady to let us use the toilet.
6. I once swam in a pool with more than 20 people. It was super crowded. What’s the point of making appointment of using the pool?
Besides of the aforementioned, there are still something I like.
+ There are not many hotels offer pool in Brussels. This hotel has a cool pool on the rooftop with sun baths on each side, and wonderful city view in the both sides of terrace. The pool design is great.
+ Check in place is in the 2nd floor, bigger than in the lobby of the building. The bar, waiting area and 4 check-in desks are connected in the same area.
+Quick lift - It will bring you directly to the floor you press for
+The basic room is very spacious and cosy. I enjoyed my stay here. Very quiet all day.

GGuest UserPlus:
The room is really big. So is the bed. It is so big that makes me think as if it is king size bed to house politicians or prime minister from the 80s, 90s.
There is heating both in the room and in the shower
There is air con set in the room( but I didn't try to see if it works)
This hotel is located less than 10 mins walk from Brussels north station
Minus
The room look really old. May be 90s, if not 80s.
There is no carpet on the floor. It is really clean but it is really cold to step on. Bring your own slippers.
The room is dim. And some lights were spoilt.
Even if was told it is a non smoking room, the room has lingering smoking smell. Someone smoked in this room before. I told the front desk, he said he will check but when I return from the city , the smell is there still.
The bathroom has some odd smell. May b smell of roaches, or roaches in the pipes.
The shower curtain smell of mould and damp cloth/ damp laundry.
The heating stop around 2am. May b there is max amount of heating one room could use. Make sure you time your heating usage carefully.
The wall is really thin. You can hear when someone is around the lift, going towards their room or what next door is up to.
I can hear everything happening outside, on the street, from police car n siren rushing up and down, to people wondering on the street, their conversation. I don't feel safe here. I can't relax and sleep.
I don't like the paper cup given together with coffee and the place to brush teeth. May be the hotel suffer too often from being stolen . But that make the hotel rating dropping from 1star hotel to guest house.
The toilet spoilt in the middle of the night and you can hear water flowing all night. Need to maneuver with the old school toilet pull button .
I appreciate the effort they maintain it but personally I don't like it. unless you have really early bus or train to catch, and is on a shoe string budget then it is your choice.

KKate ThomCheck-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait.
The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay.
When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not.
If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in.
Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10).
The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English.
The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done.
CCharlieALL GOOD with excellent reception staff support. Fortunately, they advised me NOT to park my park in the streets around the corner of the hotel because foreigners's car happened to have their windows smashed. So I parked in the Hotel parking to secure my car. Looks like this neighborghood is not safe...

MMrWong888If you're looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly stay in Brussels, Hotel Siru is your go-to! Nestled right next to the Rogier subway station, the location is a dream for both avid explorers and lazy travelers alike. Seriously, if it were any closer to the subway, it would be on the tracks!
The rooms are clean and cozy, nothing fancy, but hey, who needs a chandelier when you're just there to crash after a day of waffles and chocolate? The service? Top-notch. The staff are so attentive and friendly, you'd think they mistook you for royalty. They even helped us with directions, dining recommendations, and were quick with extra towels—no need to resort to using the hand towels like makeshift bath sheets.
Now, Brussels has a bit of a reputation for being... let's say, 'adventurous.' But don't fret! Despite the city's somewhat sketchy safety stats, we managed to dodge danger like pros. We weren't mugged or robbed—hooray for small victories! We did have a close encounter with a pickpocket, though. Some overly enthusiastic Maghrebi immigrant tried their luck on our first day, but they must have been new at the game. We walked away with all our belongings intact and a story to tell.
In conclusion, Hotel Siru is your knight in slightly faded armor, offering a safe, clean, and friendly haven amidst the bustling streets of Brussels. Book your stay, and may your pockets remain as full as your stomach after sampling Brussels' finest treats!

FFazian, MalaysiaI really feel good and love staying at Novotel Grand Place,Brussels. Belgium was the first stop on my trip this time. The warm welcome from the Novotel staff made me feel safe and happy. The room was clean and comfortable—though not very big for the four of us, it was still spacious and well-arranged, with the added bonus of a bathtub. Breakfast was great, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a ‘Halal Food’ section, which made it easier for us as Muslims to enjoy the meal. A recommended hotel—I would definitely stay here again in the future.
