"A five-star hotel I'd highly recommend, the overall experience was impeccable. The location is excellent, right by the Songhua River. The lobby is grand and elegant, and the common areas are quiet and peaceful with great soundproofing. The river view is expansive, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure getaways. The guest rooms are well-equipped and modern, with soft and comfortable bedding. Amenities like the bathroom, air conditioning, and minibar all worked perfectly. The recreational facilities are also excellent. Housekeeping was meticulous; desktops, floors, and even bathroom corners were spotless, and the linens were clean and odor-free, showing great attention to detail. All staff members provided professional and attentive service. The concierge promptly helped with luggage, check-in and check-out at the front desk were efficient, and room service was timely. Special thanks to Dafu Feihong for his courteous and polite demeanor, truly making us feel at home. I will definitely choose the World Trade Winsor when I visit Jilin again."

"Excellent! Blue Horizon has been around since I was a kid, and even after all these years, it still maintains its 5-star standard. It feels like staying in a Nordic forest. The restaurant offers wild mountain vegetables with dipping sauce – the kind only true Changbai Mountain locals would recognize. You absolutely must try it! However, I'd suggest they make the portion sizes smaller; there's too much, and it'd be a shame to waste those delicious wild vegetables. The complimentary activities and attractions are also fantastic and definitely worth visiting!"

"Facilities: It's an old hotel with outdated facilities. They even used grout to patch gaps in the elevator, which looked really bad. The toilet paper holder in the room was loose and wobbly. Hygiene: The hygiene was maintained quite well. Service: The welcome snacks and drinks included with the booking weren't delivered to the room. I had to call and ask for them two or three hours later, which was a minus. Food: The Chinese food was disappointing. The daily soup was bland and watery – can you believe a 68-yuan soup only had one piece of pork rib? Just one, that's pretty wild. Breakfast was decent, nothing special, nothing bad."

"The hotel's location is excellent, nestled among lush greenery. It truly lives up to its five-star rating with impeccable service. The room amenities are top-notch, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. My group of four friends booked four rooms. The room rate didn't include hot springs, but the hot springs were wonderful. We went in the morning when it was quiet and clean, and the service there was also exceptional. We were told the VIP access to Changbai Mountain was canceled, but the hotel still provided timely shuttle service to the park entrance. Our butler contacted us in advance to arrange check-in and answer any questions. Upon arrival, our luggage was immediately taken to our rooms. They even gave us freshly baked cookies, which were delicious. The hotel is close to the Changbai Mountain scenic area, and we were very satisfied with our stay."

Hotel near Yanbian University/Yanji Xishichang,Yanji
The Park Kairos provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Yanji will find that the Park Kairos is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is only 8km from Yanji Chaoyangchuan International Airport and 8km from Yanjixi Railway Station, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. Famous local attractions Youth Square, Yanbian University - Museum and Yanji tram, can all be reached with a short walk. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Yanji hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across the river from the famous Floating Market and adjacent to People's Park. The lobby is grand, and you need to swipe your room card to access the guest floors. The breakfast restaurant on the 24th floor offers a wide variety of options, with fresh sushi and omelets made to order. They even have original and red date/longan flavored soy milk. Enjoying breakfast while admiring the cityscape of Yanji feels fantastic! 👍 The hotel owner is Korean, so there are many Korean tour groups – about six large groups during my stay. The room amenities are well thought out: the curtains automatically close when you leave and the power turns off, which helps maintain the room temperature. The toilet only flushes *after* you stand up. Why do I specifically mention this? Because on my road trips along the 331 highway in Northeast China last year and this year, some hotels had toilets that flushed when you sat down and again when you stood up, which felt unhygienic and wasteful. This hotel's equipment is properly adjusted from the start. The faucets are also extended; if you've done renovations, you'd know these extended spouts are specially chosen. The benefit is that when washing hands or clothes, the spout is centered in the sink, so you don't have to bend over awkwardly. The mattress is also comfortable; I didn't check the brand, but a mattress that feels this good would cost around 10,000 RMB for home use. The tatami mat is particularly noteworthy – perfectly fine for one person to sleep on. The entire room is simply and comfortably decorated. My two-day stay was pleasant and relaxing. When I checked out, the hotel manager even gave me a small gift. If the hotel wants to improve further, I think the quality of your bath products could be upgraded. The black packaging looks a bit low-end, and I preferred to use my own products because yours weren't appealing. Exiting the hotel, turn left and walk uphill for about 5 minutes, and you'll reach the North Gate of People's Park. The hotel's first-floor restaurant, Ban Dao Xue Niu (Peninsula Snow Beef), is worth trying, and you get a 10% discount with your room card."

"The location, transport, and environment are excellent. Across the street is MixC Mall, and the subway station is right outside. It's also not far from Changchun Railway Station. The view from the 43rd floor is great, and the sofa by the window is very comfortable. Breakfast was good. However, the service could be more proactive. I had a small hiccup during check-in, experiencing a power outage in my room for the first time, which required a room change. The issue was handled and resolved relatively quickly, and when I mentioned the tissues in the room were scarce, they were promptly refilled. I hope they can improve their attention to service details. Overall, I would still recommend this place."

Hotel near Jilin University Qianwei south district / Silicon,Changchun
The InterContinental Changchun High Tech Zone, designed by the internationally renowned design team CCD, takes inspiration from the concept of a "Prosperous Mansion in the North," presenting a hidden and luxurious space where nature and humanity intertwine. Delving into the local culture of Changchun, the building's facade is designed with the ice flower as its prototype, interpreting the beauty of the northern ice and snow through modern architectural language; elements of ice flowers and crystals are incorporated into the interior design, creatively presented through a rich variety of materials and textures such as natural wood, metal, and glass, creating a dreamy atmosphere of a northern secret realm in natural light and shadow. Adjacent to Changchun's Baihua Gardens & Baimu Garden, the hotel also skillfully extends this urban greenery into its indoor spaces. Oak wood, white marble with a snowflake pattern, and green plant walls complement each other beautifully, with an open layout and carefully designed indoor greenery landscapes enhancing each other, constructing a serene oasis amidst the bustling city.

"My first impression upon arrival was the front desk service. Elva was gentle and polite throughout, not perfunctory at all. The check-in and check-out processes were completed in just a few minutes, and she even proactively offered to help with my luggage. She meticulously explained details about parking and breakfast times. The service was professional and heartwarming, which instantly gave me an excellent overall impression."

Manager Bobo and the young lady at the front desk were both incredibly warm and attentive. They added an extra bed to the suite's living room free of charge, and the air conditioning issue was resolved very quickly. We even received a gift box of Zongzi and a fridge magnet. The suite itself was spacious with plenty of amenities. The afternoon tea and happy hour included in the executive benefits were also quite good. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit."

Hotel near Wanfeng Tonghua Ski Resort,Tonghua
The V-Continent Tonghua Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Tonghua will find that the V-Continent Tonghua Hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is located approximately 16km from Tonghua Railway Station and 57km from Tonghua Sanyuanpu Airport. This hotel is located near many of Tonghua's attractions including Wanfeng Tonghua Ski Resort, Qianye Lake Scenic Area and Tonghua Qianye Lake Ski Resort. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. Guests of this Tonghua hotel can make use of the parking facilities. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The hotel's ski package is really great value for money, and the hotel environment is also nice. Although it's a bit far from the ski resort, there's a shuttle bus, so it's not too bad, and you hardly have to wait. The ski slopes are plentiful but the number of people is moderate, and there are always staff members in the ski equipment hall to help you. The skiing experience is excellent. The hotel rooms have basic amenities, and the heating is very strong and warm, but they are extremely dry. The breakfast food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the included hot spring tickets are a good deal; soaking in the hot spring after skiing is very relaxing. However, the service needs improvement. The shuttle bus to the high-speed rail station is infrequent, and the time and location are unreliable. They said it would depart at 3 PM, but when I asked the hotel staff if it was on time, they weren't sure. When I walked over and saw the bus arrive, it drove off without waiting a second, which was quite frustrating."

Our family came to Changbai Mountain to escape the summer heat during the summer vacation and stayed in a two-bedroom suite at Jinhua. The layout is very well-designed, with a separate living room and bedrooms. The resort has complete facilities for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Unfortunately, it rained continuously during our stay, so we couldn't use some of the facilities. A special shout-out to our butler, Haha, who was incredibly attentive! Any issues we had were communicated and resolved promptly, and they kept us updated on the status of activities within the resort. Communication was effective throughout, messages were replied to very quickly, and they even kindly reminded us about precautions for traveling in the mountains during the rain. The bedding in the room was dry and comfortable, and all facilities were well-maintained.

Before I list all the issues encountered during this trip, I'd like to commend the following staff members (whose full names I unfortunately don't know): Butler Xiao Song, Duty Manager Xiao Gao on August 6th, and Duty Manager Xiao Wang on August 7th. I was satisfied with their service attitude and efficiency; my dissatisfaction lies with the hotel's management and some other personnel. Below, I will truthfully recount my experience: 1. **Check-in on August 5th**: We checked into the hotel before 3 PM. Out of three rooms, only one twin room was ready. We went for dinner and returned around 4:30 PM, only to be told another room was still not ready! After urging, it was cleaned within 20 minutes, allowing everyone to finally check in. 2. **Incident on August 6th**: After returning from an outing, my wife slipped and slightly twisted her ankle in the room. The reason was a large amount of water on the floor (photos will be attached), clearly left after cleaning and not dried promptly. Upon immediate complaint, the duty manager arranged an upgrade to a suite (a serious issue, but the solution was acceptable). 3. **The Most Serious Issue**: Around 8 PM on the evening of the 6th, the air conditioning in the suite felt ineffective. Maintenance was called, and we were told the AC was fine, just that the room was large and it would cool down eventually. By 10:30 PM, it was still ineffective. When we requested another check, we were informed that the AC in this room (3052) was indeed faulty! It couldn't be repaired that day! Given how late it was, I only asked the duty manager to quickly arrange another problem-free room so we could rest, and I didn't pursue further complaints. Since I don't know the name of this maintenance worker, I can't name him, but his behavior was appalling! The hotel should bear full responsibility for this. I'd also like to state that I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and usually enjoy staying at Marriott brand hotels. However, due to the points mentioned above, my experience this stay was extremely poor! This is not the service standard or staff quality expected from a five-star hotel! For all these issues, I reserve the right to continue complaining and seek compensation. I urge both Trip.com and Marriott Group to take these issues seriously and provide timely feedback!

Right at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs.

I arrived by train on the 13th, and it was pouring rain on the way to the hotel, getting even heavier by the time I pulled in. The front desk handed me the room cards. When I asked for directions to the villa area, they told me to ask a staff member at the entrance. But it was chaos out there, with the heavy rain, numerous tourists, and hotel staff all mixed together. I immediately WeChat messaged the concierge. She offered to send a staff member to guide us. I said it was too messy right then and asked for the villa address so I could drive myself, also asking if there was a reception at the villa area. She confirmed there was a reception on the first floor. When we found our villa, there was no attendant on the first floor. Since I was on the second floor, I had to carry my own luggage up. I contacted the concierge again, and she replied, 'We just don't have attendants on the first floor here!' I reminded her that she had told me there would be one, which was why I came. Eventually, she sent a bellhop to help me with the bags. The bedding was only for two people; nothing was prepared for the child. So, I had to bother the hotel again to send another set of bedding. The blanket and pillow they brought were wet and covered in mud. I took photos and sent them to the concierge, who replied that it was because of the rain and their staff were all wet. The soundproofing in the villa rooms was terrible; I could hear the neighbors chatting all night. The next day, we moved to the apartment area, and still, there was no bedding for the child. When I asked the concierge, she said, 'All the rooms are full now, so we really don't have any more bedding. If we did, I would definitely give it to you.' I was stunned and asked how my child was supposed to sleep. She then offered two duvet covers and suggested turning up the heating. She insisted there was absolutely nothing else. Out of options, I contacted Ctrip to explain the situation. Ctrip then contacted the hotel, and soon after, the concierge called, saying she had found a blanket from another hotel and that I should just contact her directly for anything in the future. I can't imagine if Ctrip hadn't intervened, would the hotel have just not provided a blanket? The service quality was really subpar. We had to ask about the hotel's restaurant locations ourselves; no one told us during check-in. On the first day, I asked the concierge about dining options, and she recommended a 'iron pot stew' place that was a 5-minute drive away. It wasn't far, but the road had no streetlights and was pitch black. Later, I discovered there was a commercial street right next to the main hotel building with another 'iron pot stew' place and barbecue. Turns out the hotel must have some connection to that first 'iron pot stew' restaurant!

The Park Hyatt Changbaishan offers an absolutely amazing resort experience 🌿. The hotel is nestled deep within the resort area, providing excellent privacy. Its overall style is a understated yet elegant New Chinese design, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was incredibly spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the balcony offered distant views of the mountains and forests. I absolutely loved the room's aesthetic. The breakfast selection was rich and high-quality, featuring both Western and Chinese options. The staff were warm and polite, check-in was efficient, and they were responsive without being overly enthusiastic. Getting around the resort area was convenient, and the environment was quiet and serene, perfectly embodying a relaxing vacation vibe. It's definitely my top choice for a Changbaishan getaway, and I'm very satisfied overall. Highly recommend staying here!

Staying at the Crowne Plaza Changbai Mountain Hot Spring Resort offered a mixed experience overall. **Highlights:** The hotel's service was truly impressive; all staff members were enthusiastic, responsive, and proactively offered travel advice and asked about our itinerary. The location is central, but using the back entrance makes everything easily accessible, and it's not right on the food street, so it feels very quiet. Taking the back exit near the lollipops in the hotel lobby, and then the path in front of the big lawn, is even closer and more convenient. The overall service was excellent; every guest gets a hotel assistant. Our assistant, 7-Up, sent messages beforehand with reminders, weather forecasts, and patiently answered all our questions. We booked a deluxe twin room and got one with a mountain view. From the room, you could see the lawn, cable car, etc., offering great views. Food: Breakfast was a standard hotel buffet. The dinner buffet had grilled skewers, hot pots, and other decent options. Resort-wide benefits: They included access to the slide, cable car, water park, hot springs, and more. Everything was great, except for the long wait times for the slide. The hotel facilities are quite old, but they are clean, which is a plus. Overall, it was a good experience.
