5-Star Hotels in Anhui, China

Finally, we were able to experience the Grand Hyatt Hefei during this spring break, and it was a wonderful 2-night staycation! The Regency Deluxe Twin room was perfect - very clean, spacious, well appointed and with great city views. We enjoyed the onsen style bath in the room; the pool, steam and sauna facilities were all good. Room service was great, satisfying the midnight cravings of my family. Breakfast had an awesome spread - a balanced variety of local and western dishes. Dinner and drinks at the Club Lounge were pretty good, even for vegetarians. Drink selection was curated very well even if a bit limited. It was a great place to hang out after dinner and drinks, especially after we convinced our family friends to check in and join us the next nigh. Also, shoutout to the great service from the lovely club lounge staff! Special thanks to Lily, our WeChat contact, who went above expectations in being proactive and supported all our needs. We brought up something for improvement that aligns with current industry practice and she happily resolved it during our stay. Great customer service for sure!

To be honest, I have stayed in so many hotels. I have stayed in all the major hotels in Wuhu. It was my first time staying at Hualuxe. The overall feeling was really good. From the check-in at the front desk to the environment that came into view when entering the room. The takeaways were delivered during the stay and the front desk girl took the takeaways for me to the express cabinet when I left the hotel. It was really a good feeling. They were not cold but treated guests with care. I also really felt the care and warmth of the management of this hotel. I will choose it as my first choice next time I come back. Thank you❤️

Highly recommend the InterContinental Hefei! 👍 It's centrally located by Swan Lake, close to Anhui Museum, Hechai 1972, and Leijie, making getting around super convenient 🚗. The room was spacious and comfortable 🛏️, equipped with an air purifier, and the bathroom was clean with no strange odors 🚿. Our dedicated butler was fantastic, providing attentive and thoughtful service 💁. They proactively offered us a quiet, non-smoking floor and even helped us order food and deliver it to our room 🍜. The kids were tired from sightseeing and were able to enjoy a meal as soon as we got back. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious 🍳; even though there were many people, everything was well-organized, and they even had some special Hefei snacks. Overall, a perfect experience! Kudos to all the staff. Staying here with kids in Hefei was incredibly stress-free. We received a lovely welcome gift upon check-in and a fridge magnet when we left, which made us very happy. Highly, highly recommend! ✨

Booked the Xihai Hotel in advance for a two-day trip to Huangshan with my parents, and it was absolutely worth it! On the first day, we took the Yungu cable car up in the afternoon and walked straight to Xihai for a rest. The next day, we hiked through the West Sea Grand Canyon, took the 'train' (referring to the monorail or similar transport) back up, and then descended via the Guest-Greeting Pine. The itinerary was perfect. My parents rested well, and the hotel was very clean and quiet. On the morning of the second day, we happened to see the sea of clouds right in front of the hotel plaza, and my mom said it was beautiful. The young lady at the front desk even upgraded my room and, seeing that there were three of us, gave me an extra breakfast voucher. To have such a great experience on the mountain is truly wonderful. I'll definitely stay at Xihai Hotel again on my next visit.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is located on a mountain where temperatures can be a bit chilly, but they thoughtfully provided insulated jackets, which was a really warm and considerate touch. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes with generous portions, and the price was very reasonable – great value for money. We happened to visit during a rainy spell in Huangshan and thought we'd be bored, but to our surprise, the hotel had organized plenty of activities. We were fully immersed and had a wonderfully comfortable experience overall. Highly recommend!

This stay was beyond my expectations! From the warm and professional reception at the front desk to the clean and cozy layout of the guest rooms, every detail makes people feel comfortable. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom equipment is brand new and fully functional, and even the corners are spotless. The breakfast is rich in variety, with a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles, and the hot food tastes fresh, which can fully meet the needs of different tastes. I especially want to praise the staff, whether it is helping to carry luggage or patiently answering surrounding travel guides, the service is considerate and efficient. The location is also great, with convenient transportation, and the surrounding business districts and attractions are close at hand. The price-performance ratio is super high, I will choose here next time I come, highly recommended! The front desk Tingting is very good👍

I have to give a shout-out to Mindy, our butler, for making our stay at The Langham Hefei absolutely perfect. Her service was meticulous and thoughtful from start to finish. Before we even arrived, she proactively reached out to understand our needs and arranged a quiet, comfortable room for us. Check-in was efficient and seamless, and she was patient and gentle throughout. During our stay, she was incredibly responsive to all our requests, proactively reminding us about meal times and travel plans. Her attention to detail made us feel completely at ease. Mindy was professional, courteous, and warm, truly embodying The Langham's high-quality service, which added so much warmth and pleasant surprises to our trip. The hotel itself is elegant, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. Combined with Mindy's attentive service, it truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again on my next visit to Hefei. Thumbs up to Mindy and The Langham team!

Staying here again after many years, I'm still impressed by its understated elegance and class. The lobby is grand and refined, exuding a sense of timeless sophistication. The room is very spacious, the bedding is soft, and every detail speaks to quality. While there are signs of age, the room was impeccably clean thanks to the cleaning staff. The service, though, is the real standout. From check-in at the front desk to the room service response, everyone was consistently warm, polite, attentive, and perfectly discreet. Breakfast offered a decent variety. Located in the bustling city center, the hotel boasts a convenient location right next to the subway, making it ideal for both business trips and leisure stays. I'll definitely choose a Marriott brand again next time.

Facilities: The room facilities are a bit old, and the carpet is a bit too dirty. I suggest the hotel arranges for cleaning during off-peak seasons. And don't even get me started on the air conditioning; it wasn't blowing cold air, and it was so hot I couldn't sleep. The fan they brought the next day only offered temporary relief. Hygiene: Overall, the room hygiene was mediocre. Initially, there were stains on the sheets. After changing rooms, the new sheets had holes in them. I was too tired to bother changing again. I hope management improves their room inspection skills. Service: The service was generally okay, I suppose. I tried the executive lounge, but the food selection was too limited, with only a few hot dishes. The restaurant's buffet breakfast didn't have much variety either, and some of the cups were chipped. Overall, the experience was just average and didn't meet my expectations. A bit disappointing 😮💨

The room was great, spotlessly clean, and even had a smart toilet. From February 20th to 24th, the floor attendant on the 23rd or 24th floor (I apologize, I can't recall the exact room number) was exceptionally warm and professional. The breakfast was excellent! I got to try the local specialty, qiangguo mian (stir-fried noodles), and the chicken soup wontons were incredibly fresh and delicious. The freshly made pork buns were also fantastic. The chefs at the live cooking stations were all very friendly. I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of having takeaway cups readily available next to the coffee machine. Sitting in the lounge on the top floor in the evening was a great way to relax. I had noted on Trip.com that my booking included a welcome fruit plate, and I also redeemed 1 point for one, but the front desk never mentioned it and it was not provided at any point during my stay.
