"Really nice hotel with people that are really friendly. Clean, smells really, and serviced really well. The desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Rocío cleaned and looked after my room really well! Thanks Rocio. The Spa and gym was amazing - especially the staff who were really helpful and kind. The trainer Ariel was really helpful showing me various training routines and ways for thinking about exercise - he is an expert in Judo (black belt!). Alexis was really helpful with the spa facilities. Thanks Ariel and Alexis! The beauty salon run by Azul was really good and especially with the treatments she offers! She convinced me to start looking after the smaller things about my appearance. It is the people that make a place and in this case in Hotel Marquis Reforma. I will definitely go back. Thanks Azul! Thanks Hotel Marquis Reforma! See you soon."

"Second time I go to this hotel. Overall I really like it. Two things that disappointed me this time: 1/ I specifically asked for a one big bed room and they said it was available, then they gave me a different room and 2/ they didn’t fill the body soap when it was almost over, we had to use the hand one to shower."

"Most rooms in this hotel lack outside windows, which makes them feel quite claustrophobic and poorly lit. On top of that, the hotel's location seemed incorrect. I sent my current location to a taxi driver, but their navigation system was wrong. Then, when I ordered food delivery, the driver couldn't find the hotel and claimed they had delivered to the wrong address. This entire experience was incredibly frustrating. The elevator was often crowded, and the entrance to my room felt uncomfortably cramped."

AAhmed AwwadI recently stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico City, and overall, it was a good experience. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location—it’s right on Reforma Avenue, next to the U.S. Embassy, so it felt very safe even though there were some peaceful demonstrations happening nearby related to rent increases and the current situation in Mexico. The room was spacious and comfortable, but it did feel a bit old and outdated. The bathroom floor had some cracks, which wasn’t a big issue but worth mentioning. It could definitely use some renovation in the future. On the bright side, the breakfast was really nice. Good variety, fresh options, and great service. If you care about being in a central, secure area with decent amenities, this hotel is a solid choice—just don’t expect a modern, freshly renovated space.

GGuest UserAs you enter the lobby strong smell of artificial perfume surrounds you which made me nauseous. We were upgraded to kingbed room. Shower head was broken. Shallow sink was designed for looks only. It splushes water The large structural column by the window takes up the whole one corner of the room. The room is small enough not accommodate lounge chair. Espresso maker is also broken as to the pod doesn’t stay and fall through. If you are carefully pressing it down slowly it will stay where it get skewered. This hotel is not a bad hotel. Great location. Staff is as nice as many restaurants and hotels in town. I will not stay here again because there are plenty of better hotels and rentals to stay in Mexico City.

KkimberlytongThe location of the hotel is good, there are many restaurants around. Because it has been a few years, some facilities in the room can see the traces of time. The service is quite satisfactory, the service at the checkin at the front desk and the outdoor restaurant on the second floor is not bad (pictures 2 and 3 are outdoor restaurants, I ate at the hotel when I arrived late, the food is not exquisite but tastes good). The concierge is more ordinary, with strange eyes and arrogant attitude. What is more excessive is the waiter in the buffet breakfast room. The room rate includes breakfast, but the guest still needs to sign a bill. We gave a tip of 50peso, but unexpectedly, the waiter added a 1 in front of 50 without authorization, and it became 150. It can be seen from the photo that the 1 in front of 50 is quite abrupt, and the writing and color are different from 50. (It’s also our own fault. We only wrote the tip, and didn’t write the total amount to save trouble, because we didn’t intend to give a tip. The waiter just took the coffee pot and asked if he wanted coffee. Apart from that, he didn’t provide anything else. Serve). After staying in the tipping culture for so many years, this is the first time I have encountered such a thing.

XxtminThe hotel is conveniently located, the rooms are clean and tidy, the network is stable, but the bottled water in the room tastes strange. The breakfast is relatively rich and there are some changes every day, which can also adapt to my parents' Chinese stomach.

GGharibI booked room, for my sister and me. It was spacious, clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and amazing. I spent 10 days there, a week for a conference and 4 days to explore Mexico City. Loved it, highly recommend it, the place is in a very good location. A little thing about us, we are two Arab hijabi girls, so if you are a hijabi, don’t worry you won’t face racial discrimination against you.
