Amazing hotel! As a frequent traveler, I find myself in a lot of different hotels all around the world, and I must say that this was one of my best hotel experiences! The staff are extremely welcoming and kind, the rooms and public areas are beautiful and spacious, great pool and spa, definitely recommended for anyone visiting Bansko!

It's a very nice hotel for skiers and offers great value for money. Ski shuttle bus run every hour. Nice ski room. The room was clean, spacious and warm, with balcony offering mountain views. The hotel is conveniently close to the ski area and nearby restaurants and bars. A huge plus is the convenience store located inside the hotel. The staff is very kind and friendly. I cannot understand why this hotel is not scoring higher, we loved it! Rooms recently renovated so lovely modern interior & very clean. Comfy beds, great pool area with steam room, a few saunas and jacuzzi. Food is amazing. We stayed 4 nights on half board and never had a bad meal! The soup every night was outstanding, especially carrot & ginger on Friday night! Great choice at breakfast and love that they leave drink machines on for both meals. Usually they're turned off at dinner. Staff very attentive and fast at clearing dishes in restaurant. Also great location with ski shuttle bus to gondola free of charge or about 10 min walk.

So, let's start with the positive aspects: - We arrived at 14:00 there and the rooms were ready. We got the room very quickly and everything was clean, cosy and warm. - We had one Studio and we expected something small for two people. But the room was huge, bigger than most of the rooms you will find in Bansko for the same price (we paid 480 Euros for 7 nights (2 people) with half board. The view of the room was wonderful as well, as we had the windows to the mountains, in the morning it was an unique view. The studio has everything you need for two people: fridge, sink, glasses, plates, cups, etc. - We came with our personal car and the parking is huge so there is no need to worry about the parking. There is also one underground parking (limited) where you can park your car if you want to avoid the snow or for any other reason. - Near the parking there is a HUGE ski room in order to deposit your skies and boots. - The breakfast is really really good. If you go in the morning at 7:30 when it opens, everything is hot, the food is fresh, and a lot more possibilities than you would normally eat for breakfast. The coffee is made from beans, orange/apple/cherry juice (not fresh, but really decent). - The spa is very large, clean as the hole hotel is. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steambath have the right temperature, maybe the jacuzzi should be a little hotter, but it depends on the person. You get new towels every time you go to the spa. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in each room which is a big advantage. - The shuttle bus to the gondola and back is very on time, we did not have any problem when we used it. We did not use it every day as it was pretty crowded and we went skiing with the car sometimes. - The internet is working pretty well as long as you are not trying to download movies or something similar. - The room towels where changed every day and the blankets each 3 days even after the second change we would have got only one more night to stay. Now, let's talk about some negative aspects that should not be in a 4 star hotel: - First of all, the heaters from the ski room for your boots are not working......why would you make a 100 slot heater if it is not working? You have to take your boots in the room in order to warm them. - The underground parking is sometimes like a deposit. Everything is smelling like they are building the hotel right now, but I guess that is not a problem, you just stay like MAXIMUM 10 minutes in the garage. - The dinner is pretty much not what it should be. If you have medium preferences, you will always have what to eat. In the 7 days that we stayed there, we had each day something new, which is great, but the food is COLD, really really COLD and is awful to eat cold food after a day of skiing. Also, there is NO drinks included.....as it is in the hole Bansko...with the exception of few hotels. - Some COVID regulations are not respected as they should be. We stayed at the Tanne Hotel during our 9 day ski vacation. All in all we took up 5 rooms, which were neat and welcoming, with a feeling of cleanliness overall. I was there with my wife and 4 year old and it was great for us. The ski lift was within walking distance (which didn't matter much since it couldn't get you anywhere, due to the number of people, but that's another story for another time) and there was ample parking for all guests. The real highlights of the place were the Spa area, which included a pool, a jacuzzi, several saunas, massage, showers and lounge chairs, and the restaurant. In fact, the restaurant deserves its own paragraph. Large and welcoming, the staff was professional and always ready to pick up on us needing them. While English wasn't a string point of the waiters, they spoke more than enough to never get our orders wrong and they were super friendly and welcoming. And the food - oh my god the food. If you're not from the Balkans, you owe it to yourself to try the soups here, as well as the lamb and the sausage, but really, everything on the menu was brilliant. I give this place a solid 10. To start the hotel is good for the money and located within 5 minute walk of the gondola. The main street is v close so easy access to everything and the old town isn't too far (10min walk). Bansko has loads of places to eat drink and be merry. Plus plethora of supermarkets etc. The restaurant is nice with plenty of space and everything is modern and clean. The staff are a bit hit and miss. Some are friendly and helpful some less so which does make some interactions uncomfortable. If you book direct with the hotel and/or use thier ski equipment and thier ski passes it seems you get a better service than if you go through 3rd party operators. We stayed as a family with 2 young children and our first night the room was awful. Thankfully the manager resolved our issues and moved us to another room the next morning which we couldn't fault. The hotel web site stats fully equipped kitchen but that's not our experience. There is a kettles with cups and a hob/oven depending on your room. However with no cutlery, crockery, pots pans trays or anything at all to prepare or eat food on the kitchen is a bit of an ornament! Meals are buffet style and tasty however for little kids it's a bit fussy so we did struggle with all meals and as a result ate out more than we had wanted. Although room service food (which is extra £) was great. Burgers, chips, spaghetti etc. Drinks not included and as expected is v expensive. They don't like serving tap water as it's free but you do get 2-4 small bottles of water provided daily in the room. The pool and spa could do with a clean and the pool water by the end of the week the chlorine was so high you could feel it when you walked into the pool area. This could be easily rectified by more frequent changes of the water or water chemical maintenance. It was half term so use was heavy.

Süper bir tatil geçirdik. Odaların temizliği, otelin konumu, ilgi alaka, güvenilirlik, özellikler Restaurant ve bar bölümü resepsiyon güleryüzlülüğü. Restaurantta kendinizi lüks bir restaurantta yemek yiyormuşsunuz gibi hissediyorsunuz. Very average hotel. Visited a few years ago so thought we'd try again to give it a second chance. Very average customer service, front entrance and pavements are left icy and untreated so very dangerous for older people. Reception area is quite clinical and unwelcoming. It's quite basic, no real bar or option to chill out set up - felt that the restaurant was 'closed' during the day and unwelcoming - no comfy sofas or advertisement that you could buy coffee/snacks - really missing a trick here!.. As the hotel opposite the Cornelia does this brilliantly!... Small indoor pool that gets very crowded. Small gym, fairly good tennis table, pool for teenage kids. Never saw the spa/massage rooms in use ever!. A big hotel, we felt they could improve on the 'customer experience' hugely - we felt pushed into having a 'buffet' style meal on our first evening at 40lv pp which we felt was expensive given the quality of the food was basic. We asked if the A La Carte was available but they weren't keen to offer us this option and we had no alternative. As last time, the serving staff wear their own clothes, often jeans. hoodies so you are unsure who works there and who doesn't!.. there doesn't appear to be a bar at all or drinks menu so you have to enquire. Perhaps they rely on local bulgarian's visiting year on year - but this won't pull in other nationalities. On a more positive note, we had a roomy two bedroom apartment overlooking the rear of the hotel, with a lovely view of the mountains. The minibus service runs in the morning hourly to/from Bansko and is reliable.
