Great location and a genuinely very nice room. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and overall the room itself was a very pleasant place to come back to after long days exploring Chongqing. The location was also excellent for getting around the city. The downsides were mostly around the building setup rather than the room itself. The hotel occupies part of a shared building, which meant security felt a bit lacking, as anyone could access the floors where guest rooms were located. Reception staff were professional, but came across as rather cold and overly serious rather than welcoming. The biggest frustration was the lifts. There were only three servicing the building, and they were painfully slow. Waiting 10–15 minutes for a lift wasn’t unusual, and once inside, they seemed determined to stop at almost every floor on the way down. Overall, a good stay thanks to the room and location, but the building access and dreadful lifts would make me think twice.

I stayed in a suite room during my trip, and the room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. Everything was very well maintained, and I had a really pleasant stay from beginning to end. The reception staff were especially kind and helpful. They lent me a power adapter when I needed one, helped receive my food deliveries, and were always very friendly whenever I had questions or requests. They even offered me a complimentary late check-out until 2 PM, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was also excellent. I ended up eating Chongqing noodles every morning for three days because they were so delicious! I’ve been staying in different hotels while living in China for the past three months, and honestly, this has been the best hotel experience so far. The service, cleanliness, comfort, and overall hospitality were all outstanding. I would definitely stay here again next time. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

The hotel was in a great location. The ladies at the front desk were amazing, going above and beyond. Really helpful, clean and spacious! When I’m back, I’ll definitely stay here again. They didn’t speak a lot of English but I wasn’t expecting them to do. Even with that we communicated real easy. They also let me order my parcels ahead of time!

✔ The hotel is very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around (the subway entrance is right next to the building downstairs). ✔ It's about a 15-minute walk to Jiefangbei. ✔ There are several shopping malls nearby, so it's convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. ✔ They offer a free parcel receiving service. ✔ A hairdryer is provided. ✔ You can ask the front desk for extra bottled water. ✔ There's a free laundry service (but you might have to wait in line). ✔ The shower and toilet are separate, which is more convenient to use. ⚠️【Minor drawbacks / Things to note】 ❗ The clothes hanger in the shower area isn't ideal; I recommend leaving your clothes outside to avoid them getting wet. ❗ There are only two elevators, so you might have to wait a bit during peak hours. ❗ You can store your luggage for free after check-out.

This was our first time here. We saw on our itinerary that this hotel was very close to Guanyinqiao, so we chose it. When we checked in, the front desk staff were very polite and had excellent service attitudes – all handsome guys and pretty girls! Then we got to the room, and the housekeeping aunties were all so warm and friendly, greeting us enthusiastically. The next morning, it was drizzling lightly, but by the afternoon, the weather cleared up, and the scenery outside was beautiful. Stepping out of the hotel, if you turn left, you'll find Line 3 and Line 9, both very convenient. When you get to Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street, there are so many delicious food options and lots of people, it's really lively. Also, right across from the hotel is Tianjie, which is a popular photo spot, and there were so many people there; I went to check it out for a bit too. Right opposite the hotel entrance, there are tons of food stalls – chuan'r, hotpot, everything you could want, very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing; the vibe is just perfect!

Walling Hotel was a great stay! The hotel staff were very accommodating and had great customer service. They helped us with an earlier check in as we had an early morning flight in to Chongqing, helped give us some bread for an early morning tour we had the next day, and were generally very pleasant and helpful. The facilities were pretty good too - water pressure in the room was very good and the shower water temperature could stay hot for long, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was very cold, and the room was very clean. Hotel breakfast was Chongqing cuisine, which included Chongqing noodles (vegetarian and non-spicy option was available), fried eggs, rice porridge, and mantou. The hotel is walking distance to Jiefangbei pedestrian street (less than 10 minutes walk) as well as Hongyadong (around 5-7 minutes), and less than 5 minutes walk away from Guixin Tower (of the ”1st floor but also 22nd floor” fame). Would definitely recommend a stay here! PS: say hi to their hotel 老板 when you're there!

The hotel is incredibly convenient, located in the same building as the Eye of the Cloud, offering great value for money. My room on the 54th floor provided stunning views of Chongqing, including the 'Hello, Chongqing' cityscape at night. You'll need to check in on the 47th floor first, then take another elevator up to the 54th.

Very easy to find, you can see the signboard when you come out of Exit 3 of Qixinggang Station on Line 10. There is a small courtyard after the elevator comes up. The environment is quite good, and there is a small pool. The overall room is simple and warm log wind, the texture is high-end and warm, it is completely relaxing that I like. The details are also super careful, the intelligent control panel at the bedside, the bathroom with separate dry and wet, and the tea set and brand drinking water on the bar, you can see the store's intentions. The marble countertop and texture hardware of the bathroom are also very good, and even the taste of toiletries is very comfortable. The bamboo screen and paper lanterns in the sofa area are full of atmosphere. Come back at night is a relaxing little world. I will choose this one next time!

My stay at the Aspera Hotel during my recent trip to Chongqing was excellent overall. The location is a huge plus, being close to Hongyadong and right above Xiaoshizi subway station. It's just a few minutes' walk to Jiefangbei and Bayi Delicious Street, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and getting around. The hotel's design is simple yet sophisticated, having even won a design award, and the dome restaurant on the 25th floor offers a truly outstanding ambiance. Breakfast boasts a wide variety of dishes, with both Chinese and Western options, and fresh ingredients. Dining in the high-altitude area provides expansive views. The guest rooms are clean and tidy, with a well-thought-out layout. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views of the mountain city's nightscape, and the in-room amenities are comprehensive with great attention to detail. Overall, the value for money is good. If you're looking for convenience and quality accommodation during your visit to Chongqing, this hotel is definitely a recommended choice.

Chongqing Trip: This Cyber Motorcycle-Themed Hotel Is Right Up My Alley! Located right near Jiefangbei, this cyberpunk-style motorcycle-themed hotel totally hit my aesthetic sweet spot! Not only is the style on point, but it's also perfect for families with kids – an ideal choice for a family trip! Before coming, I did my research online and found that the hotel's design style completely matched my taste, plus they had family rooms, so I booked it without hesitation! After staying here, I found it definitely didn't disappoint. - Ducati Motorbikes: I loved them, and every photo turned out super cool. There are many room types. We stayed in a family room, which had a cute little tent and dolls that kids love. It also came with baby amenities like a child's toilet seat and a step stool for washing up – very family-friendly! - Whole-room smart control: You can adjust lights, curtains, and air conditioning all with a touch while lounging! You can even call the front desk directly by voice. - Downstairs is the 'Food Street,' and you can walk to Jiefangbei and its surrounding attractions in just a few minutes. Food, drinks, and entertainment all in one place! Who could resist a hotel that's both stylish and practical?
