The room was incredibly spacious. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the city center, and it's just a short walk to Jokhang Temple. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful, addressing all our needs. The room was equipped with an oxygen concentrator, which could be used with a nasal cannula or diffuse oxygen, and they thoughtfully provided three cannulas. Complimentary fresh fruit was offered daily. Breakfast was also fantastic and served on the sixth-floor rooftop restaurant, offering stunning panoramic views of the Potala Palace, perfect for watching the sunrise every morning.

The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; they even helped us find parking on a chilly night – their service was truly touching. The room was clean and tidy; I loved the simple yet elegant decor. The amenities were complete, and the most comfortable feature was the TV with screen mirroring – perfect for watching the English Premier League from bed. The breakfast was also quite substantial, and the restaurant was very clean and tidy! In conclusion, I would definitely choose this place again for my next business trip!
I had a truly satisfying experience at this newly opened hotel. The facilities are modern and comprehensive, boasting amenities like an oxygen supply system, air conditioning, and a mini-fridge. Its location is incredibly convenient, surrounded by hot pot restaurants, foot massage spas, KTVs, and various other dining options. The service was excellent, with thoughtful touches such as luggage assistance and complimentary fruit delivery.

Potala Palace Afternoon Tea (stayed 2 nights): Being able to see the Potala Palace was fantastic, and it truly lived up to expectations.

Nagqu is at a very high altitude. We arrived in Namtso from Namtso and had some altitude sickness. It was cold and windy outside, so we didn't want to go out for dinner. The hotel unexpectedly prepared a late-night snack for guests, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's facilities are new and smart, and the oxygen concentrator worked very well, alleviating our altitude sickness. The service was also excellent. Nagqu is very dry, and we were running low on mineral water. We called to request two more bottles, and the hotel quickly delivered three bottles, which was very thoughtful.
Very satisfied, a 100-point experience. The front desk lady was very nice and upgraded us to a super large room after we drove all night and arrived in the middle of the night. It was a 100-square-meter room, which I've never stayed in before. It was an eye-opener. I'm very satisfied with the hotel. The decoration style is also very grand, and the music is also Chinese style and atmospheric music. The front desk was very good and helped us wash and dry clothes. I love this hotel and have fallen in love with Changdu. I would like to call it the leader of Changdu hotels. I will come again next time! ! ! !

When I first arrived in Lhasa, I stayed at Jicai, primarily because of its cleanliness and its proximity to the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. My experience after checking in was excellent. After my trip to Nyingchi and Mêdog, I booked Jicai again. If you experience altitude sickness, the lobby provides an oxygen concentrator, and the rooms even have diffused oxygen supply.
I had wanted to try breakfast in Lhasa, so on my last day, I bought the hotel's breakfast and discovered their noodles (fen) are really good. I regretted not booking a room with breakfast included. If you're still debating whether to book breakfast, my advice is to go for it if you like sour and spicy noodles, because their breakfast noodles are delicious. Delicious, delicious!
Front desk service was good, and honestly, Jicai offers great value for money. Highly recommended.
A hotel worthy of a full 5 stars. Shannan exceeded my expectations and re-examined the Hilton brand.
The hotel service, from the moment I arrived, was excellent, attentive, and professional, demonstrating strong brand management. Check-in was prompt, and we were even greeted with warm rhodiola rosea tea.
The hotel room was spacious and user-friendly, and I slept very comfortably that night.
The breakfast was also exceptional, with a wide selection. The bread was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff even took the initiative to make local glutinous rice cakes for guests, which were delicious.
There are many dining options nearby, including markets, supermarkets, and restaurants, all within walking distance.
The hotel also provided evening porridge, milk, and small bread, which I slept soundly after. Due to time constraints, I didn't stay an extra day, which is a shame. I will definitely return to your hotel when I visit Ngari next year, and I'll definitely choose Hilton again if I ever find one.

Our room was upgraded to a family room, room 327. To be honest, the hotel is located quite deep in an alley, about a 500-meter walk from the main road... All the room windows are single-paned and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years... The towels and bath towels were all dated 2023 and weren't very soft anymore. We booked through Ctrip, which helped with the room upgrade and included complimentary breakfast. Don't expect too much from this hotel; it's quite different from a Holiday Inn Express on the mainland. The breakfast was just passable, nothing to write home about.
After all those downsides, let's talk about the positives: it's incredibly cheap. Booked on Ctrip during the off-peak season (August 31st - September 3rd), and with a Lhasa culture and tourism subsidy voucher, it came down to about 160 RMB per night. Secondly, you need a key card to access the floors, which makes it quiet and secure.
If you're traveling independently and plan to be out sightseeing daily, the location is a bit far. It's about 2.5 km to Potala Palace (15 RMB by taxi) and roughly 3.5 km to Jokhang Temple. Lhasa's cost of living is much higher than Chengdu's. You'll notice it significantly in taxi fares and dining expenses. This was my first visit, and I didn't experience altitude sickness. I found it truly beautiful. Here are a few recommendations:
🚩FYI: I didn't take Rhodiola before entering Tibet and didn't experience altitude sickness upon landing. The hotel I stayed at upon arrival didn't provide oxygen, and I didn't even buy an oxygen tank, yet I adapted just fine. So, flying into Tibet is the most relaxed way. Traveling by train or self-driving is exhausting, and you're just as likely to get altitude sickness anyway.
🔹Attractions: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Ramoche Temple, Sera Monastery, Tibet Museum, Princess Wencheng Show, Chakpori Hill viewpoint, Barkhor Street... I recommend exploring at your own pace, taking it easy... stopping frequently and avoiding strenuous exercise.
🔸Food: Sichuan cuisine dominates. Aside from those speaking *******, everyone else speaks Sichuan dialect. Goods are not easy to transport in, so prices are comparable to first-tier cities. The air is dry and UV radiation is incredibly strong... I didn't get a tan all summer, but two days here turned me completely dark! [laughing emoji]
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! 🙋♀️🙋
The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the ancient city and the waterwheel. We stayed for four consecutive days this time and were very satisfied. The hotel is very beautiful, especially the two brothers who provided excellent service. There are also delicious flower cakes available at any time, and hot milk is provided at night. It is really considerate service and responsive. Parking, luggage loading, and delivery of items are all very timely. It is a homestay worth staying in.

AAnonymous User**Review of Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel**
My stay at the Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel was quite pleasant and convenient, particularly for a traveler looking for comfort near the airport. The hotel's prime location, just a short distance from the Lhasa Gonggar Airport, makes it an excellent choice for those with early flights or needing a quick stopover.
The hotel itself is modern and well-kept, with a clean and stylish design. My room was spacious and comfortable, featuring contemporary furnishings and all the necessary amenities for a restful stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the room's soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep despite the proximity to the airport.
The staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay, although there were occasional language barriers. Nonetheless, they were always willing to assist and made an effort to accommodate my requests. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient.
One area where the hotel could improve is its dining options. While the breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of dishes, I found that the food could benefit from more freshness and variety, especially for those staying multiple nights. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was somewhat inconsistent, which might be a concern for business travelers needing reliable internet access.
Overall, Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel is a solid option for travelers looking for a comfortable stay close to the airport. While there are minor areas for improvement, the hotel's convenience, cleanliness, and friendly service make it a good choice for short stays or layovers.

HhohotimVery satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions.
Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen.
There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning.
Everything was cured by the warm customer service.
GGuest UserTangka Hotel is directly across from the Jokhang Temple entrance, and there's a shopping mall downstairs! It has everything you need for dining, sightseeing, and shopping. We originally planned to try various hotels, but once we got here, we didn't want to leave. First, let's talk about breakfast. It was delicious. ******* food isn't always particularly suited to Han Chinese tastes, but this hotel's offerings were perfectly suited to our tastes, with some ******* touches. After a leisurely breakfast, we walked downstairs and arrived at the Jokhang Temple security checkpoint. From there, we could explore the surrounding Barkhor Street area! Now, let's talk about shopping. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall where you can buy everything you need, including local specialties. This street is the busiest of all. And how much further is a little further? There's Lhasa, a city that never sleeps. In Lhasa, you can enjoy a snack or a small bar in the evening. Let's talk about the main attractions. In fact, it doesn't take long to walk forward and you can see the night view of the Potala Palace, so it is very comfortable here, which is why we always choose here. There will be pick-up and drop-off services when you come and leave. The stay is also very comfortable and the environment is good. I will book again next time.
GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.

MMendel2haoLet me start with a few direct impressions:
1. After booking, I asked if they could pick me up from Lhasa Station. No problem, a Mercedes sedan was arranged!
2. Upon arrival, the front desk asked if it was my first time in Tibet and Lhasa. It was, so they offered me a cup of Rhodiola tea to relieve fatigue and help with acclimatization!
3. I stayed for two consecutive nights and got a free upgrade to a deluxe twin room!
Can any other tourist city in the country beat that kind of service?
Additionally, the hotel's decor and interior exude a strong ******* style and ambiance. Facing Nanshan, the words ”Long Live the Motherland” are clearly visible. It's also very close to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Tibet Museum, and Norbulingka (all within a 20-minute walk).
JJonaswqIt's a cute little traditional ******* style hotel that is just a stone throw from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.
LLeiyinfabiandenuoyihaosenzhangxunThe hotel environment and facilities have nothing to say, but the management is very chaotic. Checked in at around 2:30 pm that day, I found that I had not cleaned the room. I immediately reported it to the front desk and said that I would go out to eat something first and leave them enough time to clean. Almost 3:40, I returned to the room again, the room was still in an uncleaned state, and finally I could coordinate the front desk to change the room. In addition, the hotel facilities written on Ctrip have air conditioning and heating, but there is actually no
PPiyaziThe hotel is the best hotel in the county, and is only a few minutes' walk from Toling Square and Toling Monastery.
The lady at the front desk picked a south-facing room for me, which had very good sunlight. The room has all the necessary facilities, especially the oxygen supply system.
The sanitary conditions are very good, whether it is the room, the lobby or the restaurant, there is aromatherapy treatment.
The hotel’s restaurant almost became the exclusive canteen during our stay in Zhada. We had breakfast and dinner here. The restaurant's head waitress and several staff members were very enthusiastic and the dishes they recommended were very appetizing.
Just to explain, this room type is a special offer room, everything else is great, but the bathroom is a bit small, guests who mind need to pay attention to this.
