This hotel is quite good and offers excellent value for money. The location is superb; you can walk to major attractions like Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace. The hotel service is outstanding. The highlight is definitely the panoramic restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast while watching the Potala Palace gradually light up with the morning sun—it's a truly wonderful experience. I'll definitely consider staying here again on future visits.

The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; they even helped us find parking on a chilly night – their service was truly touching. The room was clean and tidy; I loved the simple yet elegant decor. The amenities were complete, and the most comfortable feature was the TV with screen mirroring – perfect for watching the English Premier League from bed. The breakfast was also quite substantial, and the restaurant was very clean and tidy! In conclusion, I would definitely choose this place again for my next business trip!
My friend and I, two girls traveling together, decided to try out this newly opened hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, even recommending some great local places to eat. A bellhop helped us with our luggage, which was a huge help for us girls! Breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of options, including local specialty sweet tea and butter tea. Highly recommend!

One of the best stayings in my 10 days trip in Tibet! Staff greets us with a warm ******* Herbal Tea with a welcoming scarf and warm towels to warm us up. Friendly staff was helpful and efficient during check in.
Room was spacious and clean. More than enough quality amenities were supplied. Comfortable bed for good sleep and most importantly sufficient and steady oxygen can be supplied by the hotel. Humidifier was also one of the best we encountered throughout the whole trip. Absolutely loving the traditional Chinese style room and hotel design that doesn't look old school but authentic.
Convenient location where accessible to everywhere!
Highly recommend!!
Nagqu is at a very high altitude. We arrived in Namtso from Namtso and had some altitude sickness. It was cold and windy outside, so we didn't want to go out for dinner. The hotel unexpectedly prepared a late-night snack for guests, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's facilities are new and smart, and the oxygen concentrator worked very well, alleviating our altitude sickness. The service was also excellent. Nagqu is very dry, and we were running low on mineral water. We called to request two more bottles, and the hotel quickly delivered three bottles, which was very thoughtful.
Very satisfied, a 100-point experience. The front desk lady was very nice and upgraded us to a super large room after we drove all night and arrived in the middle of the night. It was a 100-square-meter room, which I've never stayed in before. It was an eye-opener. I'm very satisfied with the hotel. The decoration style is also very grand, and the music is also Chinese style and atmospheric music. The front desk was very good and helped us wash and dry clothes. I love this hotel and have fallen in love with Changdu. I would like to call it the leader of Changdu hotels. I will come again next time! ! ! !

When I first arrived in Lhasa, I stayed at Jicai, primarily because of its cleanliness and its proximity to the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. My experience after checking in was excellent. After my trip to Nyingchi and Mêdog, I booked Jicai again. If you experience altitude sickness, the lobby provides an oxygen concentrator, and the rooms even have diffused oxygen supply.
I had wanted to try breakfast in Lhasa, so on my last day, I bought the hotel's breakfast and discovered their noodles (fen) are really good. I regretted not booking a room with breakfast included. If you're still debating whether to book breakfast, my advice is to go for it if you like sour and spicy noodles, because their breakfast noodles are delicious. Delicious, delicious!
Front desk service was good, and honestly, Jicai offers great value for money. Highly recommended.
A hotel worth all 5 points, this place in Shannan exceeded my expectations and also made me new to the brand ”Hilton”.
Hotel service, from the door to people, very good, very intimate, people feel very professional, it can be seen that the brand management is in place. Check-in was very fast. Also sent us warm Rhodiola tea.
The hotel room is very generous and user-friendly, and I slept very comfortably that night.
The hotel's breakfast is also very special, there are many choices, the bread style is delicious and the style is beautiful, the staff will take the initiative to make local wontons for the guests, delicious.
There are many dining places around, there are markets, supermarkets, restaurants, and can be reached on foot.
The hotel also has night porridge, milk, small bread at night, eating, very sleepy. Because of the time relationship, I didn't live for one more day. Unfortunately, I will go to Ali next year and will definitely come back to your home. Or there will be Hilton in the future, and I will give priority to it.

Our room was upgraded to a family room, room 327. To be honest, the hotel is located quite deep in an alley, about a 500-meter walk from the main road... All the room windows are single-paned and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years... The towels and bath towels were all dated 2023 and weren't very soft anymore. We booked through Ctrip, which helped with the room upgrade and included complimentary breakfast. Don't expect too much from this hotel; it's quite different from a Holiday Inn Express on the mainland. The breakfast was just passable, nothing to write home about.
After all those downsides, let's talk about the positives: it's incredibly cheap. Booked on Ctrip during the off-peak season (August 31st - September 3rd), and with a Lhasa culture and tourism subsidy voucher, it came down to about 160 RMB per night. Secondly, you need a key card to access the floors, which makes it quiet and secure.
If you're traveling independently and plan to be out sightseeing daily, the location is a bit far. It's about 2.5 km to Potala Palace (15 RMB by taxi) and roughly 3.5 km to Jokhang Temple. Lhasa's cost of living is much higher than Chengdu's. You'll notice it significantly in taxi fares and dining expenses. This was my first visit, and I didn't experience altitude sickness. I found it truly beautiful. Here are a few recommendations:
🚩FYI: I didn't take Rhodiola before entering Tibet and didn't experience altitude sickness upon landing. The hotel I stayed at upon arrival didn't provide oxygen, and I didn't even buy an oxygen tank, yet I adapted just fine. So, flying into Tibet is the most relaxed way. Traveling by train or self-driving is exhausting, and you're just as likely to get altitude sickness anyway.
🔹Attractions: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Ramoche Temple, Sera Monastery, Tibet Museum, Princess Wencheng Show, Chakpori Hill viewpoint, Barkhor Street... I recommend exploring at your own pace, taking it easy... stopping frequently and avoiding strenuous exercise.
🔸Food: Sichuan cuisine dominates. Aside from those speaking *******, everyone else speaks Sichuan dialect. Goods are not easy to transport in, so prices are comparable to first-tier cities. The air is dry and UV radiation is incredibly strong... I didn't get a tan all summer, but two days here turned me completely dark! [laughing emoji]
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! 🙋♀️🙋
The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the ancient city and the waterwheel. We stayed for four consecutive days this time and were very satisfied. The hotel is very beautiful, especially the two brothers who provided excellent service. There are also delicious flower cakes available at any time, and hot milk is provided at night. It is really considerate service and responsive. Parking, luggage loading, and delivery of items are all very timely. It is a homestay worth staying in.

GGuest User[A smart hotel that must be stayed at Lhasa Airport | Lan Ou International Hotel’s second experience, Ctrip’s recommendation is indeed well-deserved! ]
The second time I stayed at Lan Ou Hotel next to Lhasa Airport, I was still amazed by its sense of technology! Booking from Ctrip not only reduced the price directly, but also superimposed the full discount coupon, the cost performance is directly maximized! It is worthy of being a treasure hotel highly recommended by the platform. From entering the door, the room is fully intelligent voice-controlled, and even the curtains can be voice-controlled. The fatigue of the plateau journey is instantly cured by the sense of technology~
✨Highlight experience:
✅Whole house smart system: Xiao Ai Butler is on call 24 hours a day, the lights/air conditioner/TV can be adjusted by moving your mouth, and the humidifier can be voice-controlled in dry weather on the plateau, which is ecstatic for detail control!
✅******* aesthetic design: The thangka murals in the corridor are perfectly integrated with smart devices, and the oxygen supply device in the room is so considerate that you can relieve altitude sickness by lying down.
✅Airport pick-up and drop-off assist: Free airport pick-up and drop-off are on time and efficient, and the butler will also help carry luggage to the boarding gate!
✅Ctrip exclusive benefits: The second visit also upgraded to a deluxe king-size bed room. Super awesome!
Recommended to all travelers flying to Lhasa, close your eyes and don't step on thunder! Next time I come to Lhasa, I will make this place my base~💫

HhohotimVery satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions.
Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen.
There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning.
Everything was cured by the warm customer service.
GGuest UserTangka Hotel is directly across from the Jokhang Temple entrance, and there's a shopping mall downstairs! It has everything you need for dining, sightseeing, and shopping. We originally planned to try various hotels, but once we got here, we didn't want to leave. First, let's talk about breakfast. It was delicious. ******* food isn't always particularly suited to Han Chinese tastes, but this hotel's offerings were perfectly suited to our tastes, with some ******* touches. After a leisurely breakfast, we walked downstairs and arrived at the Jokhang Temple security checkpoint. From there, we could explore the surrounding Barkhor Street area! Now, let's talk about shopping. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall where you can buy everything you need, including local specialties. This street is the busiest of all. And how much further is a little further? There's Lhasa, a city that never sleeps. In Lhasa, you can enjoy a snack or a small bar in the evening. Let's talk about the main attractions. In fact, it doesn't take long to walk forward and you can see the night view of the Potala Palace, so it is very comfortable here, which is why we always choose here. There will be pick-up and drop-off services when you come and leave. The stay is also very comfortable and the environment is good. I will book again next time.
GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.

GGuest UserThe lovely lady at the front desk helped me with my luggage and even recommended some local attractions. The next morning, the friendly server at breakfast was also very pleasant. My room was remarkably quiet, and the toiletries were neatly arranged on the counter, which kept the space feeling uncluttered. It was super convenient to have charging ports right by the bed, perfect for using my tablet at night. The air conditioning adjusted temperature quietly, and the shower water temperature quickly stabilized. The hotel also features a coffee shop with affordable prices, ideal for a quick break after exploring or shopping. I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends.
JJonaswqIt's a cute little traditional ******* style hotel that is just a stone throw from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.
LLeiyinfabiandenuoyihaosenzhangxunThe hotel environment and facilities have nothing to say, but the management is very chaotic. Checked in at around 2:30 pm that day, I found that I had not cleaned the room. I immediately reported it to the front desk and said that I would go out to eat something first and leave them enough time to clean. Almost 3:40, I returned to the room again, the room was still in an uncleaned state, and finally I could coordinate the front desk to change the room. In addition, the hotel facilities written on Ctrip have air conditioning and heating, but there is actually no
@@haitianI feel that this hotel is the largest in the entire county, and my personal experience is also the best. The front desk staff is friendly, the hotel rooms are clean, and you can see the Tu Lin Mountain view from the window. Of course, the entire county is hidden in the Tu Lin Mountains. The underground parking lot has not been completed yet, and the above-ground parking is a little far away, but it is acceptable. There is breakfast with good variety, and there is dining on the second floor of the hotel.
