Normal hotel with a good breakfast, prepared by a friendly member of staff. Everything was available in the room, a bit far from the train station, but you know that beforehand.
Unfortunately I had a room on the 7th floor and couldn't get another one. The room windows open onto a kind of roof garden that runs past all the windows and is accessible. So anyone can climb out of the window and go into the next room. Sleeping with the window open is therefore uncomfortable. If you don't want to do without it, you should clarify this beforehand; from floor number 8 onwards, each room has its own balcony.
The parking lot was large and the room was clean and nice. It was a little dark, but there was no particular problem. You can enter the same series of Sannemu hot springs for free.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Odate City, surrounded by numerous restaurants and shopping areas. We drove ourselves, and free parking was provided. The onsen facilities were adequate. While breakfast and dinner were not served, complimentary ramen and rice were available in the evenings. The staff were also very friendly and polite. It's a hotel I would recommend to friends.
It was very beautiful and the room was large and very comfortable. There is no pass shower in the room, but there is a large communal bath and I was able to enjoy the feeling of a hot spring. The staff was kind and polite. I would like to stay with breakfast next time.
Every time I come to Cross Hand, I choose to stay at this hotel.
Very convenient location outside the station
The staff is polite and the cleaning aunt is polite
There is also a free bath salt option, very comfortable 👍👍👍
The bath also has a great view. In the evening, we had curry (with ham cutlet), which was delicious! They also had kiritanpo sets available as gifts, so I gave one to an acquaintance.
Everything at the hotel is very satisfactory, except that it is a pity that it is more than 2 kilometers away from the train station. It is worth it for the hotel conditions. There is a bus directly to Akita for 1.7 kilometers.
During winter, the road for the last 800 meters before reaching the hotel is closed, and you must walk in. Guests need to park at Okama Onsen first. Before arrival, you are required to inform the hotel of your check-in time so that a staff member can guide you on foot to the property. The staff will help carry your luggage, but if you have many bags, it’s best to inform them in advance.
The highlight of this stay is definitely the walk to the hotel. You walk deep into the forest along towering walls of snow on both sides, and eventually discover the onsen hidden in the woods. It feels truly special and secluded.
The lobby area is not very large, and the number of staff is quite limited, but overall the service was very good. Dinner was served at a counter bar, and the chef was extremely friendly and spoke good English. The receptionist at the lobby, who is from Taiwan, speaks English, Chinese, and Japanese fluently. She explained everything clearly, helped carry our luggage on the way out, and even assisted with clearing snow off our car.
Personally, I found the public onsen area to be a bit disappointing. The floor was icy and slippery, which felt somewhat unsafe. However, the private onsen in the room was excellent — very private, spacious for an in-room bath, with a beautiful view and wonderfully fragrant mineral water.
The room itself was spacious, quiet, and peaceful. Mobile signal does not work inside the hotel, but the hotel provides Wi-Fi, which was stable and fast.
Both breakfast and dinner were very good, and the hotel responded to emails and accommodated our special dietary requests, which we really appreciated.
The only regret was that the snow was extremely deep during our visit, making it hard to fully see and imagine the surrounding scenery.

Ssatoshi nishibayashiThe woman at the inn was blunt, but she was normal, and if the location is gone, you can't find an inexpensive inn.
The difficulty of less 々 was blind.
Please continue to do your best.

GGuest UserOn May 15th, I was taken care of by my husband and wife, my sister and daughter, and I couldn't eat it with a modern building, such as dinner kiritanpo and other wild plant tempura, and sashimi. The breakfast and the number of items were large, and I was very satisfied with the female owner's son. At the foot of Mt. Moriyoshi, there was still snow and I couldn't take a walk on the top of the mountain with the gondola that opened from June 10th, but when the mountain opened, I could see the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean 360 and Mt. Moriyoshi, where you can take a walk on alpine plants. In winter, I would like to take a gondola to visit Zao on the ice tree.
GGuest UserGreat accommodation experience, the environment is very comfortable and you can enjoy music on the first floor. The way to take a shower in the bathroom is a little inconvenient. There were very few people staying that day, so it was okay. The breakfast and dinner we had were both unique and delicious.
DDaocisongduzheIt is much better than expected, after all, this price is really cheap. After watching the fireworks conference of Shengong Temple, I went to sleep for one night. It was still very close to Daqu Station. There was Rosen opposite, which was more convenient. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and there are free comic books to read.
