"The room was a bit smaller than I expected, and the facilities were a little dated. However, the sea view was absolutely breathtaking – it was so refreshing to open the curtains to that sight. The hotel offers direct access to Shirahama Beach from its first floor, which was super convenient for swimming and watching fireworks. It's also very close to the dining street and Daiso, making shopping and eating incredibly easy. The bus stop is just a minute's walk from the main entrance, making it easy to get to attractions. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of options, including both Japanese and buffet styles. The hotel service was excellent – the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed."

"The breakfast was incredibly authentic, rich, and delicious, making me feel warm both physically and mentally – truly amazing! It was so good it could easily account for 1/3 to 1/2 of the room rate, haha, that's how much I loved it. My only regret is that I only stayed one day and thus only got to enjoy it once. 😄 The breakfast was so incredibly good that I could even overlook the bathroom setup where the tub and toilet were in the same room without a separate partition. 😂 The hotel is also super convenient for getting directly from Kansai Airport by bus without any transfers. This location was perfect for us as we were planning to visit Kishi Station to see Stationmaster Tama. We also had lunch at the hotel's ground floor cafe, and the food there was excellent too."

"Visiting this hotel was an incredible experience, and I was utterly captivated by the breathtaking views it offered. The property features both an indoor and an outdoor hot tub, and I must say, the outdoor hot tub is particularly special, providing a stunning backdrop for relaxation. Each morning, I looked forward to a delightful buffet breakfast that exceeded my expectations; the selection was diverse and delicious, ensuring a great start to my day. The hotel rooms were meticulously maintained, providing a clean and comfortable environment that made my stay even more enjoyable. Location-wise, it couldn't be better situated—nestled right next to the train station, making it easily accessible for travelers. Additionally, there’s a mall adjacent to the hotel, along with a charming bookstore, offering plenty of options for shopping and leisure. Overall, this hotel truly impressed me with its amenities, cleanliness, and prime location!"

"Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our Kii Peninsula trip, the Kameyama Hotel in Kii-Katsuura was the most expensive. There aren't many hotel options in Kii-Katsuura, and this one was still considered relatively good value for money. We booked a twin room with an ocean view (not a tatami room). The room itself was very spacious and had a nice view. However, it's true that the hotel is a bit dated, and some of the room furniture was quite old. Despite that, the cleanliness was good; the room interior was spotless, although the balcony seemed not to have been cleaned thoroughly. I didn't quite understand the openwork design of the bedding; it felt a bit unhygienic with the duvet insert seemingly exposed. Check-in was quick, and the staff spoke fluent English, which made the process very smooth. The hotel breakfast was also excellent. It was a set meal, reservation-based, and all seats faced the ocean. From the hotel, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Torii gate, a 5-minute walk to a FamilyMart convenience store, and a 10-minute walk to the station, which is quite convenient. There's also a free water bar on the first floor, offering coffee and other beverages, which was a nice touch."

"This hotel was our last stop before heading to Kansai Airport, and it seems many others use it as a convenient layover point before their flight. It's incredibly easy to get to the airport from here; it's about a 7-8 minute walk, just two or three intersections away, to a Wakayama Airport Limousine Bus stop. Personally, I find the airport bus more convenient than the Shinkansen because you can hand your luggage directly to the driver instead of lugging it around. The airport bus costs 1400 JPY and takes approximately 30-40 minutes to reach Kansai Airport, which is actually more convenient than traveling from central Osaka. Secondly, this hotel, though small, has everything you need. Its bathrooms, both indoor and outdoor, are spotless. The breakfast spread offers a wide variety of choices, including sashimi and seafood rice bowls. Everything is presented in small portions, but it's all very clean and delicious. The hotel provides a map showing nearby attractions. After a bath, complimentary ramen is offered – we didn't try it, so I can't comment on the taste. There are also ice pops. I particularly recommend the room type I chose because it has a split bathroom layout. The vanity is outside, while the toilet and shower room are enclosed. As many know, some Japanese bathrooms are tiny, with everything crammed into one small space, making it impossible for two people to use at once for washing up and using the toilet. But this bathroom is separated, and it even has a small door that can be pulled shut to create a partition between the wash area and the sleeping area. This is ideal for guests with different schedules. This was a twin room, and it was quite spacious, with enough room to open up our suitcases. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel and this particular room type."

"The hotel's environment is fantastic, and the entrance garden landscape is absolutely beautiful. The seaside corridor is also stunning, and there's a dedicated hot spring area for foot soaks. The public outdoor hot spring views are also great. The only downside of my trip was the room I booked, which was supposed to have an indoor hot tub, but it turned out to be just a regular bathtub. Although the staff explained that the water was indeed from a hot spring, it still felt disappointing, so I didn't use it. I contacted Ctrip customer service about it, and their handling of the issue was very satisfactory. However, the public bath was a delightful surprise; both the environment and the soaking experience were incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend the dinner buffet. Even though it's a buffet, the ingredients are fresh, and the variety is extensive. You can even grill your own food. The tempura was exceptionally delicious, and they had Haagen-Dazs ice cream! Breakfast, however, wasn't as lavish and was quite simple. Overall, I'd say I'm satisfied."

"The room was large and had a great view—it was an ocean view room—and the food was excellent. There was even a bathtub in the room 🛁. I originally wanted to rent an electric bike, but the Gogo app isn't available on Chinese phones. I think they should offer a cash payment option. That would be more user-friendly."

"The Japanese-style tatami room was very clean, but when I first entered, there was a strong grassy smell. The service was excellent; every staff member was very attentive. There was a Chinese girl at the front desk who was very lovely and patient. She took every matter seriously and meticulously solved every problem. Having her there made us feel much more at ease. My favorite spot was the tea and relaxation bar on the second floor of the hotel. Whenever I wanted coffee, I could go downstairs and have it freshly ground, which was fantastic. The hot spring was also great and very clean. The cleaning staff, an adorable white-haired grandma, even played with claw machines! It's highly recommended. The bus stops right at the entrance, which is very convenient."

"The location is far from the city centre. If you are not driving it is a bit difficult to find restaurants, except if you wanna eat in the hotel. The location is not far from the fish market, maybe 5 mins walking distance. The hotel looks old but has good maintenance and it has superb scenery as near yachts pier."

"Privacy was protected and it was the best. The meal was very satisfying and delicious. However, this time, I didn't use the car, so I had a hard time accessing sightseeing in the suburbs."
