4-Star Hotels in Jeju Province, South Korea

The hotel was quite clean, and we stayed for three nights. Haidilao Hot Pot is conveniently located on the fifth floor and is a popular spot for many Koreans. There's also a KFC on the first floor. Shilla Duty-Free Shop is right across the street, and to the right, you'll find Asia Pharmacy and convenience stores. It's truly super convenient! The hotel is actually situated right on Baojian Road Pedestrian Street, making shopping incredibly easy. Within a five or six-minute walk, you'll find Olive Young, ABC Mart, and Mega Coffee. The area is bustling with food options, including 24-hour pork bone soup, a lively night market street, spicy rice cakes, and various BBQ restaurants. It's incredibly convenient. The housekeeping service was excellent. Every day, the staff would clean our room while we were out in the afternoon. They took care of all our trash (including any we left outside the door), changed the bed sheets, and promptly replaced the bathroom towels. Our room was on a fairly high floor, the 16th floor, which allowed us to enjoy the sunrise from our window every morning 🌅. We hadn't initially booked breakfast but decided to add it one day. To our surprise, it was quite good! The noodle soup was delicious, and the fruit was very fresh. Highly recommend!

The hotel room was very spacious. Looking at the floor plan, it seemed to be a room type where there's only one per floor. I arrived at the hotel a little after 4 PM, and only rooms on the second floor were available. My request to change floors was unsuccessful, so I just let it go. Each room only comes with one key card, and it wasn't possible to get an additional one. The power outlets in the room were too loose; nothing would charge when plugged in. Luckily, I had a universal adapter and managed to charge my devices using the power strip next to the TV. The blinds in the room were far too sheer; I was woken up by the light around 6 AM. Also, the motion-sensor light by the door turned on about seven or eight times in the middle of the night. Overall, besides the large room and nice view, there were quite a few drawbacks. On the bright side, the hotel's sea view was beautiful, and the coffee shop next door was excellent.

We booked a standard room with one large and one small bed, and it was quite spacious. The bus stop is conveniently located about a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel is right by the beautiful sea. However, there was a persistent unpleasant odor in the hotel corridors throughout our two-night stay. I couldn't tell if it was a fishy smell from the sea or from discarded takeout food. Waiting for the elevators was also frequently time-consuming.

We were warmly welcomed by a lady staff member with a sweet, cheerful smile, and were able to check in early before the official check-in time. Our room came with a balcony offering a full ocean view, which was beautiful. However, the room itself was quite old, with an outdated design. Only reusable slippers were provided instead of disposable ones. The bed was too bouncy, and we could feel the springs inside. The pillows were also too thin and uncomfortable. Breakfast had a very limited selection, though the taste was acceptable. The hotel is nicely located right in front of the ocean, with a spacious open area across the road where locals set up camps and jog along the seaside. We also saw some locals playing basketball at the large court nearby. A special mention to the staff who helped us order fried chicken delivery — he kindly recommended popular local choices, and we really appreciated his help. If the hotel improves the room quality and comfort, it would be a perfect place to stay.

The service was great. The lobby was clean, well-maintained, and quite spacious. We booked a family twin room with two beds, one large and one small, which was perfect for three people. Disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and cups were provided, making it feel very hygienic. The room also had a refrigerator and a safe. The hotel is conveniently located diagonally opposite Baojian Road and is very close to the duty-free store. The only slight drawback was that the soundproofing in the street-facing rooms was just average.

Good location with a lot of local restaurants and supermarkets close by. There is a car park inside, and we had no trouble getting a space. There is a 7-11 inside the hotel and also washing machine and dryer facilities.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Ocean Suites Hotel. Firstly, staff service was prompt. Front-desk staff speaks English. The front desk and other staff tried their best to help accommodate to our requests and we appreciate it. The room was pretty clean, although the family room does seemed a little dated. The hotel is along the stretch of a long board walk so that was nice too! Accessible walking distance to Dongmun market, and Chilseongno shopping street. I think like most of the other hotels in Jeju, carpark is quite tight if you are driving an SUV. Just be careful. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Jeju!

The location is fantastic! Downstairs, you'll find BHC, a 30-year-old ox bone soup restaurant, and grilled black pork. Lotte and Shilla duty-free shops are just a ten-minute walk away. It's also close to Baojian Road (Health Road). The value for money is quite good. Most hotels in Jeju Island are older, but the cleanliness is generally fine. The facilities, however, can't compare to newer hotels. The bathroom door kept springing back, so you couldn't leave it open; you had to open it every time you went in or out, which was quite annoying. The room was much larger than those in Japan, with plenty of space for two suitcases. Many tour groups, both Chinese and Korean, stay here. It's convenient for everything, whether you're going to the airport, dining, shopping at duty-free, or joining a tour group. It's right in the tourist-heavy city center.

This is easily the best hotel I've stayed at in Jeju. During this trip, we stayed at three different hotels, and this one was by far my favorite. The location is superb, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, and the beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive, breathtaking views. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, perfect for cooling down after a hot day out. The lobby has ample comfortable seating, and the service was outstanding; staff were always quick to provide anything we needed. There's an incredibly delicious 'pot rice' restaurant conveniently located downstairs. For those traveling by car, parking was also a breeze. Above all, the value for money here is exceptional – you simply can't beat this price for such quality.

The hygiene and service were both excellent. I'd highly recommend staying here when visiting Jeju Island. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. It's just over a ten-minute walk to the two duty-free shops on Baojian Road, and there's a pedestrian street perfect for a stroll. On our last day, we ran out of Korean Won and couldn't book a taxi through any app. A wonderful gentleman at the front desk (an 'uncle' figure) was incredibly kind; he exchanged his personal Korean Won for our RMB so we could pay for our taxi. What's more, he could communicate in Chinese, which was a huge plus. As a first-time visitor to Jeju Island, I was truly grateful for his help. He was an absolute lifesaver, especially with our early morning flight! I'd definitely recommend this place to fellow travelers. The accommodation price was also very reasonable, even in July.
