"We really enjoyed our two night stay here, it was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The service was great, everyone was very nice and welcoming, especially Daniel and Greta. The bathrooms were clean and always available whenever we wanted to use them. The only thing was the deposit, they hold a 200 CAD deposit in your account which we thought was quite much, however this did not take away from our great experience. Overall would highly recommend this stay if you want a clean and central accommodation."

"It would have been really important to mention that they have cats. You know. To someone like me who is very allergic to cats. I have emergency medication for this kind of BS. I was there one night but I would have rebooked if was not way too late. 1 night of sleepless wheezing misery. Without the allergy thing, the rooms were hot and airless. People were leaving the doors open and using fans to blow around the cat dander, I mean air. It's not safe to leave doors open, but that's the guests. The ladder for the top bunk (bunkbed) had one side not covered. It's sharp metal and easy to cut yourself on. These issues are not hard to fix, hopefully they can improve, since that location is perfect for walking to and from concerts. Hey if you love cats, still be careful, this neighbourhood can be dangerous."

"The front desk staff were very friendly and patient in answering questions. There's a free shuttle every half hour, with the first one at 6 AM. You just need to register at the front desk. The bed's firmness was just right, not one of those that makes you sink in and wake up with body aches. Facilities: Old and worn. The walls were scuffed, and the bottom of the door was water-damaged and cracked. When the heater first turned on, it smelled like an electric fly swatter burning bugs. Wi-Fi was barely functional; eventually, I had no choice but to switch to mobile data. The fridge barely cooled; I couldn't even tell the difference between inside and outside. The coffee machine looked like it hadn't been used in ages; when I opened the water tank, it was full of dust. The bathroom light switch took a while to turn on after pressing, and it made a noise when it finally did. The soundproofing was terrible; you could hear people walking and talking in the hallway crystal clear. Cleanliness: I can only say it was very average. I didn't even lie on the bed; there were three hairs on the pillow."

"Cons: It was incredibly noisy outside, and the soundproofing was terrible. Even though I was on the lowest floor (3rd floor), had earplugs in, and kept the windows closed, I could still hear a constant rumbling. The facilities were outdated, and the lighting was dim. Paying over 1000 for a single room for one night felt a bit overpriced. Pros: Shopping nearby was very convenient. After checking out, the front desk lady let me use the lounge to charge my phone. The deposit refund was processed very quickly. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the food tasted good, and it was included in the price."

"Very convenient location if your sim is to be right in the city center. The two subway train lines are within a couple of minutes walk ,as is the main high street. The Canada line provides a direct route to the train station (tip: buy a day ticket and it will cost less that the ticket to cross zones plus the additional airport surcharge). The Canada line is so convenient that if you did not care about being in the city center then staying somewhere else along the line further out may be cheaper. Hostel was clean and well organized. There is a strict no eating in the room policy, though there are kitchen facilities to be used. Hire a towel. Rooms and front entrance has key card access. Room has no Aircon so can be warm, though there is a small electric fan. The room with two beds has bunk bed, cages under the bed and a stool….that is it. There are no privacy curtains, individual dockets or lights for each bed, only the main room light so make sure you have a touch/light, though as the curtains do not block all street light the room feels as it has a nightlight on and does not ever get really dark. I stayed Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday was quiet , though the hostel is above a bar and do Saturday had music playing for many hours while trying to get to sleep not the place for light sleepers."

"The hotel's interior and room decoration are retro and elegant, but the hardware facilities are generally not as advanced as those in China, and the room rates are relatively high. The location is very good, in a bustling area, convenient for dining and tourism, and there is a formal currency exchange agency nearby (the exchange rate is said to be better than others), a tourist pier, several light rail stations and ticket centers, and many of the surrounding buildings are a hundred years old."

"The hotel is close to the city center and is very convenient for driving out. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but everything else is good."

"We had a comfortable stay in a clean room that was even cuter than it looked in the photos! Each room has a number lock, so you can rest assured about security. The hosts were all very warm and kind! They were happy to store our luggage before check-in, introduced us to their two cats, and had a lot of fun talking to us! The nearest station is just under a 20-minute walk, or less than 10 minutes if you take a bus from the nearby bus stop. It's close to the airport and tourist spots, so it's easy to get around. I'd definitely like to stay here again if I go to Vancouver!"

"The hotel is clean, the bed is comfortable, the kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, plates, bowls, spoons, everything is complete. The only thing I don't like is that the smell of the floor cleaner is a bit strong. The hotel is in front of the bus stop, convenient to travel. From the hotel, walk less than 100 meters to English Bay Beach.  Overall, I like it. Next time I come to Vancouver, I will stay here again."

"Budget hotel in Vancouver. Clean place for a bed and shower. Good service. Staff are extremely helpful. The night receptionist offered to help us to take our luggage upstairs (no elevator). No Frills and Dollarmart across from the hotel. Good for last minute shopping before a cruise. Will stay again."
