I liked the Czar Lisbon Hotel. There are several eateries and supermarkets near the hotel. I could stock up on water and other essential stuff.
It is also easy to hire Uber. Burger King and pharmacy is just opposite the hotel. Hotel also provided the travel adapter upon request.
Hotel has a restaurant on the same level as the reception with a wide variety of food in the menu.
The toilet is nice and huge for two.

The hotel is a little over a kilometer downhill from the old town. While it's a bit of a distance from the main tourist attractions, both the bus and metro stations aren't too far, and the surrounding area is very quiet. Taxis are also cheap and convenient.
The young front desk staff were all very warm and welcoming; anything we needed was brought up right away.
Every night at 10 PM, the hotel has a 15-minute light show featuring many of Lisbon's sights. I missed it the first night, but I made an effort to watch it the second night, and it was quite interesting.

This hotel is ideally located, just a three-minute walk from a metro station and twenty minutes from the city center. The welcome we received was particularly outstanding: although we arrived early, we were able to check into our room two hours ahead of schedule, which is a rare and much-appreciated perk. The staff, especially the French-speaking receptionist on our first day, was very helpful in explaining how the public transport system works.
While the rooms might seem a bit small, they are perfectly adequate and represent the only minor drawback in an otherwise ideal stay in every respect.

We had a great stay at Moon & Sun Hotel in Lisbon. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel that’s perfect for exploring the city, this is an excellent choice. The location is ideal—within walking distance of major attractions, great restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to discover Lisbon without needing a Taxi/Uber/Bolt.
The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. While they are on the smaller side, they’re perfect for travelers who want a comfortable place to rest after a full day of sightseeing. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city rather than lounging in your room, this hotel offers great value for money.
The service was outstanding. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. They were also very accommodating—when I requested a different pillow for better comfort, they replaced it immediately, and when we asked for mint to be brought to our room, they did so at no extra charge. Small gestures like these really made us feel welcome.
Overall, Moon & Sun Hotel was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with a high level of service. It’s a great option for couples or anyone who wants to explore Lisbon with ease while staying in a well-priced, stylish hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for a week in March 2025, single room.
Based on the name of the hotel, I expected some beautiful interiors, but did not see them.
10 out of 10 for the location of the hotel. In the historical center, at the very beginning of the local pedestrian street, 2 minutes walk to the metro and buses, 5 minutes to the train station. There are also enough shops nearby.
The hotel is in an old historical building, occupies one entrance of a five-story building. There is an elevator.
Breakfasts are good, there are vegetables, fruits, greens, and traditional eggs, sausages, yogurts, national cakes and even champagne.
Upon check-in, they give a liter of water and a coupon for a glass of port in the restaurant.

The location is very convenient, close to the subway entrance. The newly renovated room has convenient facilities, good hot water, and comfortable beds. The front desk and restaurant waiters are very kind, enthusiastic and thoughtful. There are several restaurants nearby, making it convenient to eat.

We had room 410 with a lovely view over the city to the castle and church, a really wide, comfortable bed, and everything you could need (safe, refrigerator, hairdryer, water, coffee). Modern bathroom. The only downside was the breakfast, which had a limited selection and was of average quality at best (e.g., coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon).

Style, quiet, new super beautiful boutique hotel!
I liked it very much. For such a price, just a gift. The perfect bed, I slept like a princess. Everything was thought up to the tiny things inside.

A pleasant stay for 2 nights. Reception was very helpful and pleasant. Room was not ready when I check in at 4pm. And they offer me some nice butter cookies . Room was clean. Mattress was comfortable! When I had problem locking my room door, they send the hotel guy to help me look into the issue. It was coz I did not use enough strength to turn the knob to lock it. Case resolved immediately. While I did not require my room to be disturbed, they offered to change my towels. Nice gestures.
Location definitely excellent, just above the metro station, Marques De Pombal. Very centrally located , near a huge park and near the city!!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we first arrived we were booked into a very small room. But since we were staying for 4 days they changed us into a slightly larger one upon request. This made it better for 2 people and lots of luggage. The hotel is really well situated, within 15 minutes to walk to the old town, and very close to Edward VII park. Loved the spa for daily relaxation. Highly recommend. It has a minimalist vibe, but very friendly. and the breakfasts are incredible all you can eat buffets.

Great
Ppygroundspacious, aesthetic, and perfect for a solo trip, but a few things to note.
The room itself is gorgeous. It has this modern boho/woody vibe with warm tones, sage walls, hints of gold, and lots of natural light from the balcony. Waking up here was honestly such a nice experience. The balcony is a big plus too, although the furniture is quite basic and could be upgraded.
Layout-wise, everything made sense (especially the TV directly facing the bed — finally!). However, the TV connection was quite slow and frustrating, so I ended up just using my phone.
Location is good if you don’t mind walking — around 20–30 minutes into central Lisbon. There are loads of cafés nearby though, which was super convenient. I highly recommend Fauna & Flora (Anjos) for brunch — really cute spot and great food. They take walk-ins :)
Only thing I didn’t love was the PIN entry system. You have to type it multiple times (enter building, going up the lift, enter room) and it’s very visible, which made me a bit uneasy as a solo traveller. It's super easy though !!
The mini fridge was also super minimally stocked, so don’t rely on it. On the plus side, tea/coffee facilities, toiletries, and plenty of towels are provided.
The apartment itself is very quiet and peaceful — I barely heard anyone else, which made it feel like my own private space. Barely saw anyone, felt like I had the place to myself.
Overall: a comfortable and stylish stay with great nearby cafés. A few small improvements would make it perfect, but I would definitely stay again.
성성복It was hard to find at first, but it was my fault.
But the facilities are so good and the cleanliness is like a high-end hotel.
You have to check in yourself, but when there is a staff member, they will help you.
I moved to another hotel now, and I regret it so much.

AAihechadeyangguangmaoThe location of the hotel is excellent and the facilities are very good. But the service is really bad. First, the friend's room can't be done. Find the service staff to wait for a long time! It is very troublesome to check in.
TTravelTime11Nice hotel with friendly staff particularly the young lady at the spa reception. Nice sauna, jacuzzi and gym for use. Quiet area close enough to the heart of lisbon. Totally recommending this place.
GGuest UserThe room is spacious. Clean and has good amenities. It smelled bad inside the elevator all the time. The lobby isn't very present with dirty floors. Breakfast was average. The location was good for me, but a few metro stops away from the touristy spots. But it's a safe location w plenty of other hotel chains, office buildings and restaurants.
GGuest UserWe had a pleasant stay at Masa Hotel spa combo grande collection .The breakfast was really nice and great way to start your day, and the amenities were excellent — guests can use the spa, gym, sauna, and bath facilities, which made the stay more enjoyable. Although the location is a bit far from some of the main attractions, it is still reasonably convenient since they can be easily reached by metro.
Cleaning was generally okay, but the shower drain in our room was not working very well, which was a bit inconvenient.
GGuest UserThe hotel was nice and clean but the furniture and interiors seemed a bit old. The location was near the airport but a bit far from the city centre. I liked the amenities but they didn't have tissues for hand and face, only toilet paper mother than the noise of occasional airplanes the building and the surroundings were quiet. The only problem we had was that we were not given the code to the apartment building and the reception desk was located inside. Fortunately a guest came and opened it for us before we had to contact the owner.
GGuest Userdidn't like:
1) bathroom sharing was not clearly stated in the listing , nor the reservation.
2) the gents bathroom was too small
3) the ceiling above washbasin in gents bathroom was too low.
4) room door did not close and thus had to be locked every time
AAlbi LisboaImportant Considerations for Travelers:
- If you book a room with breakfast included and have an early flight on your departure day, consider purchasing breakfast separately. The hotel does not offer a refund for unused breakfasts, and in my case, they neither refunded nor provided any form of compensation. This policy, though minor for the hotel, can leave a negative impression, as a small gesture of goodwill would go a long way in enhancing guest satisfaction.
- The hotel does not provide bathrobes, which may be inconvenient for guests accustomed to using them after a shower.
- Nighttime temperatures can be quite low, so it is advisable to turn on the air conditioning in advance to ensure a comfortable sleep.
- The rooms are compact, making this hotel a better fit for solo travelers rather than couples or families.
- While it is rated as a four-star property, the breakfast selection is quite simple and limited. Guests can expect pastries, a small assortment of sliced meats and cheeses (1-2 types each), yogurt, toppings, scrambled eggs, ciabatta, a modest selection of sliced fruit, juice, and some alcoholic beverages.
Hotel Perk:
- Unlimited coffee is available in the lounge, which is a nice bonus for guests.
- The hotel is situated in a district neighboring the city center, offering convenient access. Guests can reach the embankment and historic center within a short walk.
- Upon my arrival on the first night of check-in, I received a welcome kit that included complimentary access to the in-room bar. I’ve attached a photo of the bar below for reference.
