"We enjoyed our stay at Iconic Regency Service Residence. The place is very clean, and the front desk staff were very polite and responded quickly to all our enquiries. The room service cleaners were also polite and well-trained. The gym and swimming pool on Level 42 have great views, and my kids had a lot of fun at the swimming pool. The only feedback is that the car park design may not be very convenient, as there are many circular turns and some areas are quite narrow, especially for bigger cars. It really tests the driver’s driving skills. Overall, everything was good. If there is no traffic jam, it takes less than 30 minutes to drive to George Town."

"Regarding the location, you'll need to call a Grab for everything. It's so hot that walking to the nearest restaurant for breakfast in the morning takes over ten minutes, and by the time you get there, you're already drenched in sweat. We knew this beforehand, though. There's a convenience store downstairs, but it's not cheap. We bought a 5L bottle of water for RM30. As for the room, we booked a suite with two bedrooms and a living room. Each bedroom had a double bed, and there was also a double bed in the living room. One of the bedrooms had an en-suite bathroom, and the other bathroom was shared with the living room. The amenities were quite basic. The bathrooms had shower gel and shampoo, and the water heater was hot enough, but you had to figure out how to use it first. There was an ironing board and iron in the unit, but we didn't use them. There was a washing machine, washing powder, an induction cooker, a pot, a frying pan, large bowls, plates, cutlery, a dining table, and three chairs. We did laundry, and there was enough space to hang clothes, as we could hang them in the bathroom and living room. The worst part was having only three chairs. It's advertised for six people, but with only three chairs, one person always had to stand when we ate together. There were four of us staying there. The toilet paper provided by the host was barely enough. We ended up using our own tissues too. Since we stayed for five nights and often brought takeout back to eat, the rubbish bags weren't sufficient. We had to contact someone to get more. Bath towels were provided in the room, and the pool and gym on the 11th floor were open during the day. We didn't have any children with us, but the facilities on the 11th floor looked like they could keep kids entertained for half a day."

"The location is pretty strategic. If you want a peaceful place to stay, this is it as the place is not in the middle of Georgetown. Amenities such as shower gel (smells really good & they actually sell it), shampoo, washing machine, cooking utensils, induction stove, iron, ironing board, hangers and towels are all provided to be used during our stay (NOT to be taken home). The television is an Android TV so you can watch shows from various platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, VIU and more. The elevators are fully functional and they have 3 for the whole building (it may be slow during the evening due to people going out and having a swim; plus during checkout so plan your time so that you don’t wait too long). The swimming pool is quite congested during the weekends and towels are not provided as this is not a hotel. So remember to bring your own towel, going into the elevator in wet clothes will result in a big fine per person. We got Grab e-Hailing pretty easily here. However, I need to point out that there’s too many contact numbers provided but only one number actually replies to customers. Instead of directing customers to the correct number to enquire, they chose to keep quite and ignore all messages. Even emails are only read, not replied. Please fix this attitude for a better customer experience."

"Hotel average. Not satisfied with the difference in check in counter&the deposit is quite high for average hotel. Receipts for deposit provided only by request. The pressure for toilet bidet is too slow. Room is clean & spacious however the pillow is too light&causing a headache in the morning. Charge for parking is too high & unacceptable for guest shoud be waive."

"I booked two rooms with induction cooktops, which was very convenient. I felt like it could even accommodate five or six people at most (just exaggerating, haha!). It's only one or two kilometers from the city center, perfect for a city walk. The lady at the front desk was very beautiful; I wonder if she was Indian. The gym facilities and washing machine are great for families!"

"Stayed here for 3 nights. The apartment is spacious and generally comfortable, but the building is starting to show its age and some facilities feel a bit dated. The biggest downside is the elevators, which can be extremely slow during busy periods and sometimes require a long wait. That said, the experience was greatly improved by the operator, Uptrend Home Management. Their team was very responsive on WhatsApp, replied quickly to enquiries, and kindly arranged an early check-in for us, which was much appreciated after our journey. Their customer service was professional and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, while the building itself could benefit from some upgrades, the excellent management and support from Uptrend Home Management made the stay pleasant. Would consider staying again."
