Libo Hotels with balcony

"What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Our stay at the Grand Skylight Hotel in Libo, Guizhou, was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect, with a private, convenient passage directly to the Xiaoqikong scenic area, making sightseeing incredibly easy and stress-free. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with a refined and tidy layout. Anna at the front desk was exceptionally thoughtful, attentive, and enthusiastic. All the staff were very accommodating, patiently answering all our questions with professional and warm service. The overall environment, facilities, and service were impeccable. This is definitely our top choice for a vacation stay in Xiaoqikong, and we'll certainly choose this hotel again for our next visit!"

"I was extremely satisfied with this B&B. The hygiene, facilities, and service were all excellent. The breakfast was also quite exquisite. The room had a tea set, and sitting there enjoying a hot cup of tea while gazing at the misty clouds outside was incredibly relaxing. The B&B is also very close to the East Gate scenic area, just a few minutes' walk away. The landlady was warm and thoughtful; I had booked a room with a bathtub, and she even upgraded me to a room with a full bath! After exploring Libo, a good soak really helps to wash away the day's fatigue. Highly recommend!"

"Worried about where to stay in Libo, I kept seeing old hotels until I finally stumbled upon this hidden gem on Trip.com after countless searches. There was only one review when I booked, so I was a bit hesitant, but I was beyond satisfied once I checked in. The hotel is super new, and I wondered why such a great place had so few reviews. I found out they had just been listed on Trip.com. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures – my photography skills don't do the room's beauty justice! From the moment I booked, someone thoughtfully asked about our high-speed train tickets to arrange a pick-up. At the station, the young man eagerly helped us with our heavy luggage. Everything felt so warm and welcoming. I'm willing to spend time writing an honest review so more tourists can see this amazing hotel and help those who are undecided. Haha! I love staying in new hotels, and the overall experience truly makes it the top choice for a trip to Libo. We stayed in a room type that's unique to the entire hotel. Compared to other hotels near or within the scenic area, the price is genuinely not expensive at all, considering the room is large, new, and you can see the distant mountains from your bed, watching the clouds change. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 4-minute walk to the East Gate of the scenic area, and you can even see the scenic area's ticket office from your bed. Transportation is convenient right outside, and amenities are all around. It's not noisy at all; I usually have trouble sleeping, but whether it was the comfortable bedding or the super quiet environment, I slept soundly until morning. The lobby design is simple yet grand, with an elegant style – I particularly loved it; it felt soothing and relaxing the moment I walked in. The room was meticulously clean, with attention to every detail. The bedding was soft and comfortable, making sleep especially restful. It's worth mentioning the staff's thoughtful and proper service, with gentle and polite attitudes. Especially the manager – I've never seen a hotel professional so passionate about their job. They were full of energy throughout, incredibly patient at all times. The check-in process was smooth, and they even gave us directions, making our travels convenient and saving us a lot of time. On the day we left, May 3rd, it was raining heavily, and we had a lot of luggage. Several staff members at the front desk, without umbrellas themselves, braved the rain to help us load our luggage into the car and took us to the high-speed train station. At the station, the manager asked me to help my elderly mother while they again braved the rain to move our luggage to a sheltered spot right at the station entrance, ready for boarding. It was so heartwarming! I will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Every young lady at reception was meticulous and promptly responded to any needs, making us feel respected and warm. The young lady who helped us check in on the first day was also super nice; I loved interacting with her. I mentioned wanting to see other room types, and she enthusiastically showed us two other Loft styles. Next time, if we're with more people, I can bring my family to stay. One of them even had a small pavilion on the top, perfect for having tea, very comfortable. I didn't see her on checkout day and wanted to say goodbye. Thumbs up to the welcoming staff and the children at the restaurant – their service was absolutely fantastic, super enthusiastic. The overall environment is quiet and comfortable, with complete and practical facilities, embodying both quality and warmth. I hope they'll have long-stay packages so I can come back for an extended period during the off-season. One ticket allows free entry for seven days – so worth it for just over a hundred yuan! The scenic area staff were also super enthusiastic, patiently explaining routes when we were unsure. Even during the busy May Day holiday, they patiently explained everything, making the experience excellent. Vehicle management was orderly; there was no traffic at all. We went to the East Gate on May 1st and 2nd at noon, and there was hardly any queue. I'm writing this on the high-speed train and at the station. It's worth noting that every platform at Libo High-Speed Train Station has scenic elevators, which is another bonus point, making it friendly for large luggage, seniors, and children. Okay, I won't write any more. In short, for my first time in Libo, both the hotel and the scenic area service were superb. I'll definitely come again if I have time. Wishing Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Area all the best, the hotel thriving business, and the front desk ladies becoming even more beautiful, hahaha!"

"This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available."

"I was really surprised when checking into the room that was a free upgrade by Trip.com! It was spacious and well equipped. What a luxury! There is a separate shower from the tub. A Japanese-styled toilet. A tea-drinking area. Breakfast was included in the rate, it was simply noodle soup, soya drink and steamed buns. But tasty and filling. The location is somewhat far for a walk from where you are dropped by the bus if you are carrying a big baggage. Otherwise, it's good for a walk to the scenic gate."

"This hotel is located about 2-3 kilometers from the west gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo, nestled among beautiful mountains with an excellent and very tranquil ecological environment. It's a villa complex with good management. There's a shuttle service from the hotel lobby to your specific building; since we drove, we just parked directly at our room. The room itself was clean, tidy, comfortable, and odorless, with a wide-open view allowing us to enjoy the nearby mountain scenery right from our room. The hotel even provided two complimentary tickets to Xiaoqikong, though the scenic area's shuttle bus requires separate payment. There's also a dedicated shuttle service from the hotel to the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area Visitor Center, which is very convenient. Five-star rating, I'll definitely recommend it to friends looking for a similar experience."

I never expected that the boss on the first floor specially arranged a table of local special sour soup bean rice hot pot. It was too late to forget to take photos hahahaha, The price is also very affordable. The boss specially waited for us for a long time. Xiaoqikong closed and did not affect our family's travel mood. Before coming again, I communicated with the boss where to go to Xiaoqikong Guanyuan. The boss recommended the place to play. Like, the room is very clean and tasteless. "This stay far exceeded my expectations. The room photos perfectly matched the actual room. The guesthouse has a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the scenic area entrance, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was warm and clean, with a unique decor, soft and comfortable bedding, and all the facilities were complete and very new. A washer and dryer were provided free of charge. The staff and receptionist were incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering a complimentary upgrade to a balcony room with a view. They patiently answered all my questions from booking to check-out, proactively providing travel advice and even giving me complimentary fruit, making me feel truly welcome. Overall, it's excellent value for money, with a quiet and private environment, and attention to detail that shows their care. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking comfort and convenience."

"I have to commend this B&B. After extensive research and reviews online, I chose this one, and it was absolutely worth it! The pick-up service was very thoughtful. It's quiet and clean. The room facilities are both practical and comprehensive, with a dryer and a bathtub by the window, offering natural scenic views. All the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, which for this price point, is top-notch. The front desk staff provided excellent and attentive service. Personally, I feel room 301 is the quietest and most comfortable. The soundproofing is also superb! Highly recommend!!! Service: They even included tickets to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, which has stunning views. We had a great time, and if I get the chance to visit Libo again, I'll definitely choose this place."
