"A very satisfying stay! The hotel is conveniently located near the ancient town. The front desk lady thoughtfully selected a room for us that wasn't facing the street. It was quiet and provided a good night's sleep. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright. It was the most spacious and comfortable room we've ever experienced in our many Hanting stays.
The amenities were complete, the bedding was comfortable, and the hotel's ambiance was lovely. It was a great value, and parking was convenient. I highly recommend staying here.

"I arrived at Libo High-speed Railway Station in the evening. There is a direct bus to the east gate of the scenic spot (10 yuan). It takes three minutes to walk to this B&B. The landlady is very enthusiastic (but not overly enthusiastic), because the boss is actually in the business of the B&B. There is also a restaurant on the street, but she did not take the initiative to market it (a plus). I originally wanted to eat when I left on the last day... The lady boss said that they all cook freshly made food, but I couldn't eat it because I was catching the high-speed rail... What a pity! Then, because there is no elevator in the B&B, the landlady, who is small in stature, helped us carry our luggage to the third floor, which made me a little embarrassed. "The hotel informed us three days in advance that our originally scheduled family room was undergoing maintenance and upgraded us to a 5-square-meter double room free of charge. Our group of six couldn't buy tickets for the next day's Xiaoqikong (Small Seven-hole Caverns) at 11 p.m., but the hotel owner helped us secure them without any additional fees. The payment was even received via WeChat transfer after we entered the scenic area. Thank you to the owner and front desk staff for their helpful assistance, as we didn't miss the beauty of Libo's Xiaoqikong (Small Seven-hole Caverns). Thank you!!! This hotel is new, the rooms are clean, with separate wet and dry areas, and a large balcony on the same floor for drying clothes. I'll stay here again next time."

The room was very soundproof; you couldn't hear any outside noise. There were many plants.

The Xiaoqikong Bridge scenic area is higher in the west and lower in the east, so if you stay near the west gate, you can go downhill all the way and it is more relaxing.
I asked the boss, and he said that the hotel was newly renovated in 2024, with high standards, separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, a smart toilet, and a large area. The room doesn't have a newly renovated feel. Free parking is available and there are many restaurants around, some of which serve delicious food at a reasonable price. It is low season now and accommodation is cheap.
The hotel owner is a young man from Hunan who came here to start a business. Rent a house from a local and invest in renovation yourself. Therefore, the decoration and furniture of this hotel are of higher quality than those of hotels opened by locals. The owner said that the hotel furniture are all high-end furniture imported from Shunde Furniture Market in Guangdong. The bed is especially comfortable to sleep on, and the pillows, quilts and other bedding are also of top quality. The curtains block out light and open and close automatically, and the surrounding environment is very quiet. The room is clean and sanitary, with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The sun is shining brightly, and it's beautiful to drink tea and watch the mountains at sunset!
It is very suitable for self-driving tourism.
I suggest that the boss should not go it alone, but invite the boss’s wife to start a business together as early as possible, and take care of the daily operation and management of the hotel as their living! 😁😁

After mentioning this to the boss they happily moved us into another room at no extra cost, very professional and kind. Lovely smiley hosts. Almost all rooms have been recently refurbished into a modern style. Would definitely recommend.

GGuest UserMost nature reserves strictly restrict visitors to enter, but Maolan Reserve is very rare to not only allow in-depth visits, but also live in local homestays and experience the most authentic natural ecology with local guides.
Father Awang took us deep into the funnel forest. The old guide, who was in his 60s, once led him through Maolan Senli, and occasionally talked about past events, such as Bell's fun, which made us laugh.
Another guide took us to explore the undeveloped caves. We followed the guide, headlights deep into the cave, the top of the cave with bats, crystal clear stalactites, these rare sights are near.
Most special is the night ecological observation. For seven consecutive nights, we were able to follow Awang to find nocturnal animals. Under his guidance, we observed various creatures such as tigers, tree frogs, tree fins, stone dragonflies, and even encountered snakes. The insect species is even more abundant, such as scorpion, cockroach, scorpion, stove horse, bamboo knot insect. Everyone turned off the flashlight by the river and saw the flashing fireflies on the opposite mountain, which was extremely romantic. Awang's lamp-trap installation at his own mountain top attracted so many moths that people could hardly get close.
The last night before leaving, the weather was clear, we turned off the flashlight to find fireflies, harvested the sky full of stars, the number that has never been seen in the city!
The food at the homestay is also unforgettable. Awang makes authentic southern Anhui dishes, which are large and delicious and affordable. My child usually eats very picky meals, but he can eat several bowls of rice every night with the dishes he cooks. The simple local ingredients have become delicious for appetizers in his hands.
Our family had a great time and will stay here again next time.

Good location 20 min walk to old town and lots of lively (热闹) streets around. Proprietors were super nice, the daughter even picked me up on her scooter when I couldn't find the place and the dad offeredme watermelon. Lovely people with lots of helpful information.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very new and our family room was very spacious and comfortable. The location is fantastic as it’s just a 5 minute walk down the street to the 小七孔 east gate entrance.
Service is friendly and there’s washing machine provided for free.
The only small issue is two small cockroaches appeared in the bathroom on our first night there. On our second day we were asked if we wanted the room tidied up which we said yes. Surprisingly when we came back only the bed was made and the floor and bathroom were not cleaned again. So do take note of that if you’re staying more than one night.
The price and value for this place is hard to beat. Overall it was still a good stay.

AAnonymous UserService: The proprietress was really nice; she even offered us some of her homemade bayberry drink. When it rained, she kindly helped us move our clothes under the shelter.
Environment: The guesthouse is situated on the commercial street directly opposite the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance, making the location excellent. There are also a few parking spots available right outside, which is convenient for those driving.
Facilities: On the first floor, there's a small courtyard for drying clothes. The TV isn't a smart TV, and the shower runs on an electric water heater. The bathroom lacks a wet/dry separation and is very cramped. The shower head is uncomfortably close to both the toilet and the sink, and the storage shelf was broken. Overall, the bathroom is extremely basic. The sink's water pressure was far too strong; when I turned it on, water sprayed everywhere! A bathroom like this, reminiscent of a hostel's, really doesn't justify a price tag of over 300 RMB. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which gave me a headache at night. I'd recommend the owner install an air deflector.
Hygiene: Hygiene was just average. I'd suggest cleaning the bathroom door and especially the water cups – even if unused, the overall impression was quite unappetizing.
Finally: Finally, the room we stayed in looked nothing like the photos displayed on Ctrip. Perhaps the room shown in the pictures was given to other guests. The advertised room had enough space between the TV and bed to comfortably fit a small table with two chairs. Our room, however, was incredibly small; simply placing a suitcase between the bed and TV made it feel extremely cramped! It certainly didn't match the square footage mentioned in the description. I highly recommend separating these room types for sale from the promotional photos, as this is very misleading! The price wasn't cheap, yet the room quality was so poor...
