"This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available."

"The hotel staff provided exceptionally thoughtful and attentive service. Before check-in, they proactively contacted me to confirm my itinerary, and after I checked in, they kindly inquired daily about my stay experience. Their meticulous and considerate care made me feel as warm and comfortable as if I were at home. The room was spacious and open, with a well-planned layout that felt unconfined. The hotel also features convenient access routes, making it very easy to get around. The breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, including hot dishes, pastries, and fruits, all delicious with plenty of choices. There were no unpleasant surprises throughout my stay; both the hardware facilities and soft services exceeded my expectations. This will be my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I will definitely return!"

"The location is excellent – within walking distance to the business district, yet the hotel itself is tucked away in a quiet spot. The service was also fantastic; the staff were very friendly and always eager to help. I even forgot my room card when checking out, but they handled it smoothly without an issue. The biggest surprise was catching the official drone show and fireworks display right next to the hotel; the hotel offers a perfect viewing spot!"

"Perfect for a family getaway. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and their service was exceptionally thoughtful. We had a child with us, and they didn't charge extra for the food our little one ordered. Overall, it offers great value for money. The package included afternoon tea, a Yao ethnic group bath, and a barbecue in the evening. Staying in the courtyard made time feel like it slowed down, and enjoying a barbecue and a drink in the evening was incredibly relaxing. It’s ideal for escaping the city."

"🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!"

"✨ Amazing! I spent days researching where to stay for Xiaoqikong and finally chose Rongzhuang Tangquan Resort Hotel – and it was truly a gem! The location is absolutely unbeatable, right next to the scenic area's entrance. We could walk there directly, which was a huge relief when traveling with kids; no need to rush around. The hotel service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive; the staff were warm and meticulous, making for a fantastic overall experience. We stayed in a loft room, which was perfect for a family with children. The two-story layout offered spaciousness and an airy feel, giving the kids plenty of room to play while the adults could relax comfortably. The design was both practical and cozy. The hotel environment was quiet and serene, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The facilities were comprehensive. Both the convenience of getting around and the comfort of our stay were flawless. Choosing this hotel was definitely the best decision for our Xiaoqikong trip, and I highly recommend it to all families traveling with children!"

"The location of the hotel is indeed a bit far from the scenic spot. A taxi from the train station for more than 10 kilometers costs about 25 yuan, and a taxi from the hotel to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo costs about 60 yuan. The room was very clean and quiet at night. The girl from Shuizu who checked me in also helped recommend a delicious restaurant. After searching, it was still the top restaurant here, but the price was very cheap, called Douhua Noodles, 10 yuan. Just so full. The hotel also sent a fruit plate in the evening, and the service was also good. In fact, I didn’t feel it was very far when I walked back to the hotel from the ancient town; it’s far away from the bustling city, and the staff are friendly. The surrounding environment is just average, and those who have strict environmental requirements may not like it here. However, the check-in hall is very classic, regardless of the surroundings. The hotel itself is pretty good."

"The hotel is located on the bank of Zhangjiang River, with convenient transportation. The rooms are comfortable, clean and sanitary. The service is very good. The breakfast is ok, especially the rice noodles and rice crust. Parking is convenient."

"One of the best hotels i have been to yet in China. Friendly staff, friends owners. So clean and everything is brand new. If you just want a get away for a few days highly recommended. They have everything in house not ahort of anything. The bar is fully stocked up with local and foreign drinks, awell as the breakfast its great its chinese cuisine with a touch of western, with sausages and bacon. In a nutshell you better book your stay here."
