"First, the room was exactly as described, and it even had a smart butler system to operate the room's amenities—advanced and convenient! Second, the room was clean and hygienic, making for a very comfortable stay! Third, the hotel's location is excellent, very close to the ancient town, and parking is convenient! Fourth, there are many restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient! Fifth, the landlady is warm and hospitable, providing smiling service and even helping guests with travel tips to help them plan their trips—very thoughtful! Finally, the hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended!"

"What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"We stayed during the off-season! There weren't many people, and the receptionist upgraded us to a family room. She was incredibly helpful, helping us with our luggage as soon as we got off the bus. The next morning, the owner even prepared breakfast for three people! The cleanliness was excellent, and there was even a dryer. Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable—it felt like being enveloped in clouds. The view from the window was delightful, instantly lifting our spirits. The hotel service was attentive, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and responsive to our needs. The breakfast was varied and delicious, a perfect start to the day. We felt safe and comfortable staying here; highly recommended!"

"After staying in Ximen on the first night, I had to catch a bus from the East Gate bus station the next day, so I switched to a guesthouse in Dongmen. Dongmen is super lively with plenty of food and drink options, even McDonald's and KFC, haha! Felt like I was finally in the city. The guesthouse itself was lovely, with an elevator. It's about a 10-minute walk from Dongmen's main street, which can be a bit of a hassle if you have heavy luggage, as the owner doesn't offer any pick-up service. So, not the most convenient location. However, the room was great, and the service was excellent. When I arrived, the place was almost full, and they even upgraded my room!"

"I was really surprised when checking into the room that was a free upgrade by Trip.com! It was spacious and well equipped. What a luxury! There is a separate shower from the tub. A Japanese-styled toilet. A tea-drinking area. Breakfast was included in the rate, it was simply noodle soup, soya drink and steamed buns. But tasty and filling. The location is somewhat far for a walk from where you are dropped by the bus if you are carrying a big baggage. Otherwise, it's good for a walk to the scenic gate."

"This guesthouse is super close to the east gate of the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk. There are plenty of parking spaces right outside, which is incredibly convenient. The guesthouse itself is very clean and cozy. The hostess was really warm and attentive, and because it was off-season and not many guests were around, she even helped us upgrade our room. The breakfast was also prepared with a lot of care, offering rice, grains, and hot soy milk. Honestly, it was even better than some dinners I've had! I'll definitely come back if I have the chance."

"After visiting the Xiaoqikong and Daqikong scenic areas, we stayed overnight in the ancient town. The guesthouse had a lazy cat, and the double room we stayed in had a small courtyard. The ancient town was just across the street, which was quite convenient."

"This guesthouse is truly excellent and worth choosing. Firstly, regarding the facilities, the decor is modern, the materials are environmentally friendly and odorless, and the toilet is smart. The amenities are advanced. The projection screen is large and clear. The curtains are controlled by Tmall Genie, which is adorable. Secondly, the owner is extremely welcoming and offered fresh fruit; she was very accommodating. Because I was in a hurry to get to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, she even drove me to the bus station, saying it was on her way. She's so considerate and thoughtful. I feel a little guilty for the slightly late review due to my tight schedule these past two days. Thirdly, the ancient town has a rich cultural atmosphere. There are free performances in the evenings, featuring ethnic performances from the Miao, Dong, Buyi, and Shui peoples, enriching the nightlife and providing insights into minority cultures. This stay at Tingxin Bieyuan was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to returning."

"I must give it a five-star rating, it is such a good hotel. First of all, when we arrived, the landlady enthusiastically guided us to park, helped us carry our luggage, and even upgraded us to a parent-child room. There was a basket of plums at the front desk, which we kept letting us eat. The children ate so many that I was embarrassed... Moreover, we answered all questions. We asked how to play in Xiaoqikong, and the landlady explained it to us in detail bit by bit based on the big map on the wall. The room is very good, very big and clean, the bed and pillows are also very comfortable, there is a super good projection, the bathroom is great, the faucet in the shower is very comfortable, and the water pressure is high enough. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich. Each person had a bowl of shredded pork noodles, a cup of soy milk, an egg, a small steamed bun, a bowl of millet porridge, and fried dough sticks... It was not too rich at all. I liked it. After eating, it only takes less than ten minutes to walk to the east gate of Xiaoqikong, which is super close. Because the boss lady had already explained to us in detail how to play with the little seven holes, we went very smoothly and didn’t make any mistakes at all. The play went very well. The two kids went crazy playing in the water and were super happy. When I came back in the afternoon, I sat in the lobby to rest for a while and ate a lot of plums before leaving. The most important thing is that throughout the whole process, the proprietress didn't say anything to me about positive reviews. Again, she never asked me to give positive reviews. I really think it is very good, I must give it a good review. Next time I have a chance to come to Xiaoqikong, I will definitely stay here again."
