"This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available."

"What a cosy and lovely minsu to stay in if you are planning to explore Xiaoqikong Scenic area! The minsu is only 5-10 minutes walk from the east entrance or the minsu will also arrange to bring you to and fro with a buggy ride. The chap at the reception, Xiao Feng, is especially friendly and is always happy to have a chat with the guests. He also arranged for free transport to bring us to and fro Libo railway station. The room has everything that we need - the shower water was warm, air-conditioner was comfortably cool and there is even a fridge! Place is also within walking distance to convenience stores and a food street. Thank you for the hospitality!"

"A fantastic stay! The guesthouse's location is superb, incredibly close to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, just a 2-minute walk away. It's so convenient for both sightseeing and relaxation. There are also many restaurants and eateries nearby, very close to the Buyi Ethnic Street, offering everything from snacks and local specialties to KFC – no worries about food or lodging. The environment was also excellent, very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and they provided disposable toilet seats and laundry detergent – ​​very thoughtful! The guesthouse also has a small swimming pool and slide, convenient for families with children. The service was exceptional! There was free parking (about 200 meters from the guesthouse), they helped us with our luggage free of charge, recommended places to visit, and even gave us a souvenir as a parting gift. The service was truly warm and considerate – thank you so much! In short, staying here during your trip to Libo is definitely a great choice!"

"I booked a river view room, but this was the view outside my window 😅. However, the hotel itself was quite good. It's located right inside the scenic area, and you can call for a shuttle service anytime, which is a huge plus 👍. Booking the room also included tickets, and it was good value for money during the off-season. The only downside is that some facilities are a bit old. If you're planning a trip to Guizhou, make sure to do your research; choosing the right time to visit is crucial, or your mung bean soup might turn into murky water."

"Facilities: The hotel is new, spacious, and bright. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable; my friend said they slept very well and slept soundly until morning. The room has two bunk beds, four beds, and two bathrooms, so there was no need to wait for the toilet or shower. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, and disposable bath towels and hand towels were provided, which was a great touch. Environment: The hotel is located right at the East Gate of Libo, within walking distance. The hotel has a small courtyard; after dinner, taking a stroll in the town and enjoying a glass of shaved ice while chatting with friends in the courtyard is very pleasant. The beef noodle soup at the hotel breakfast was made with large pork bones and tasted very good. A satisfying trip for friends, pleasant and comfortable.
