fee is only 50RMB, very reasonable.
We had a great time in Pingyao; unfortunately we had to shorthen our stay to just one night instead of three as initially booked, due to train ticket to Xi'anbei being sold out on my initially planned third-day stay so I had to leave earlier."

**Courtyard Design:** Very beautiful, many scenic spots within the ancient city are decorated in a similar style.
**Room Amenities:** Given the prime location, the room isn't large, perhaps around 15 square meters. It has all the essentials and is very clean. The mattress was comfortable. Of course, it can't compare to high-end or luxury hotels. Its main advantage is its excellent location; it's very convenient for exploring, and you can easily pop back for a rest when you get tired.
**Service:** The staff were very service-oriented. When we arrived, there weren't many guests, and the service was very attentive.
**Breakfast:** It's not a buffet; it's a fixed-menu breakfast, like a 'nine-grid' style. It looks very appealing, and the taste is decent enough to fill you up.
Overall, it's a good stay. Naturally, for this price point within the ancient city, you shouldn't compare it to hotels of the same price outside. It's incomparable, primarily due to its superb geographical advantage."

"1. The room was incredibly clean, honestly the cleanest hotel I've stayed in for years. All the facilities were new and there were no strange odors. The owner even thoughtfully provided disposable towels and bath towels. Hot water was available 24/7.
2. We stayed on the second floor, and right outside our door was a small terrace with a table and chairs. It was lovely to have a drink and chat under the stars in the evening.
3. Cars aren't allowed inside Pingyao Ancient City, so the owner provided free parking and personally drove us to and from the hotel. The hotel is very close to Yingxun Gate and the pedestrian street, about a five-minute walk.
4. Upon check-in, the owner also provided a map, marking all the recommended must-see spots in Pingyao Ancient City and even arranging them in order to avoid backtracking."

"The hotel's service and cleanliness were absolutely top-notch! We were traveling with two young children, so we pushed the twin beds together. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel where they even cleaned *under* the beds – it was incredibly impressive! I genuinely recommend this place; the price is also very reasonable. The attention to detail is fantastic! Other areas are just as good, no need to even mention them. As soon as we got out of the car, the security guard helped us with our luggage, which was great service. The price was acceptable, the room was clean, and they even gave us a complimentary snack package. The gym and self-service laundry room on the fourth floor were also excellent."

"The courtyard is very nice, which is the highlight. It is a little far from the main area. If you are tired of walking around, you can't avoid spending money to take a bus back to the hotel. The facilities in the B&B room are a bit old, the bathroom is very small, and the design of the space is a bit difficult to turn around. The bed is not covered with a quilt on the bed sheet. The quilt is folded. I didn't dare to sleep directly, so I spread the bed sheet I brought with me."

"A truly beautiful hotel with an atmospheric courtyard. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The only small minus is that if you use the shower, everything gets wet in the bathroom. The Chinese breakfast was ok and they provided coffee and milk. The young lady at the reception speaks English and is very friendly.
The location of the hotel is close to the main attractions, but very quiet at night."

"An incredible stay in Pingyao, made even more special by the wonderful hosts of this beautiful hotel. The setting is deeply traditional, stunning during the day and truly magical at night when the lanterns light up the courtyard, creating a peaceful and charming atmosphere.
The hosts, a lovely couple, are exceptionally kind and generous. They provided great advice on exploring the city, recommended excellent local spots to discover Pingyao and Shanxi cuisine, and were always ready to help make our stay as smooth as possible.
I would recommend staying at least three nights to fully enjoy the city and perhaps explore some of the nearby temples. And before you leave, don’t forget to pick up a bottle of the homemade vinegar produced at the hotel—it’s a unique and memorable souvenir!"

"The hotel is in a very good location, with complete facilities, clean and sanitary, and various supplies prepared. Among the homestays in ancient cities across the country that I have stayed in, it is quite good. The inn is in the center of the ancient city, quiet in the hustle and bustle, and the bustling main road is just outside. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the main attractions, 2.3 minutes to the county government, and 7.8 minutes to Rishengchang and the escort agency. The hotel is inside, which is very quiet. The small courtyard is very beautiful, and I didn’t want to leave. The service is also very good, and they are responsive to our requests. They picked us up for free and sent us to the high-speed rail station. Other places charge 20 yuan. It was a very satisfying trip! ! !"

We were even provided with some fruits at our arrival and some snacks for our journey on the day we left. It was also possible to wash our clothes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Pingyao at Delian Homestay.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel, located right in the ancient city, had very modern facilities, including central air conditioning, and hot and cold running water. The environment within the ancient city is beautiful, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. I felt completely at home. They offered shuttle service to and from the high-speed train station and provided all sorts of assistance. I even forgot my glasses during a tour, and one of the staff members ran to bring them to me – it was incredibly touching. The location is also excellent, very close to the bustling South Street.

They added me on WeChat to communicate in advance, and when they learned we had an elderly person with mobility issues, they arranged a wheelchair for us, saving us a lot of trouble. I'm so grateful! 🙏 The room hygiene was impeccable; every nook and cranny was spotless. I'll let you in on a secret: the owner is a Virgo, haha! This is a guesthouse with warmth and a personal touch. Go for it, everyone!

GGuest UserI specially rushed to travel during the off-peak period after the Spring Festival to take the dog out for fun. After booking the room, I added WeChat with the landlady. She thoughtfully sent us the navigation location and a long route to get there. She also helped us book a drama to see Pingyao again. We called her the day before departure. I also contacted the hotel. I felt it was very reliable before going. They arranged to pick us up on the day. Because we were not familiar with it, we needed someone to guide us. However, the location of the inn is very close to the navigation gate and it is very dog-friendly! Very considerate. You can adjust the temperature of the central air conditioner in the room. It is hygienic and clean. The location of the accommodation is very close to South Street and relatively quiet. Because there are not many guests traveling during off-peak hours, we were upgraded to a room type for free. We got a sticker and drew the location. , independent wifi in the room, free access to mineral water, the store staff is really nice! The dog friends who recommended it to me hope that they will all come and check in with their dogs, haha! Almost everything I asked for was answered. Before I left, I said that there was really no need to send us away. It was very close, but the boss lady still asked us to send us away in the scenic spot car. I hope the business is prosperous and the store is caring!

It is his own inn, and the photos taken are very good, which can fully satisfy everyone's fantasy about Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture. Great 👍. The first photo is inside the inn.

GGuest UserThe first thing is to make sure you are going to the correct location for this hotel. On maps, two different locations will show up for 'Delian' so confirm with the hotel that you are going to the correct place. Hotel is in a beautiful historic building that has been renovated and converted. Rooms are modern and tasteful, but I was hoping for a bit more of a decor that would befit the location within the ancient town. Being within the walls of the ancient town, near one of the main streets through town, the location is very good in regards to seeing the sites. One of the nice things about Pingyao is the abundance of friendly cats that you will meet as you stroll the main streets. They seem to be strays that local shopkeepers help take care of. The breakfast at Delian was interesting. They obviously have a deal with a small restaurant across the street from the hotel and you have a limited choice of menu items from which you can choose. This was all Chinese-type breakfast, and everything we had was simple, yet good. The woman that worked at the front desk was very helpful and gave us her WeChat so that we could message her at any time with any questions we had.

GGuest UserPingyao Yundingxuan truly exceeded our expectations! This ancient courtyard, a former Shanxi merchant's residence, has an incredible atmosphere, perfect for amazing photos. The location is superb, right on West Street in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of 'Impression Pingyao' and all major attractions – super convenient for sightseeing and dining.
The hotel offers free pickup and drop-off at the city gate, helps with luggage, and provides thoughtful and attentive service. They patiently explained sightseeing routes and even assisted with discounted bookings for 'Impression Pingyao' tickets, saving us time and effort.
The rooms are clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The courtyard is quiet and tranquil, making it a very reassuring stay for both elderly guests and children. The amenities are comprehensive, and the breakfast is authentic. It offers incredible value for money. It's definitely the top choice for family trips to Pingyao. Highly recommended; we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Pingyao.

We arrived late by high-speed train, and the owner drove directly to the station to pick us up. All the restaurants in the ancient city were closed, so the owner lent us his electric tricycle to go eat outside the city. Riding that little vehicle through the ancient city at night was truly a special experience, haha.
As for the room, it had everything we needed, and the underfloor heating kept it very warm. The large kang bed was quite unique, and even the mouthwash cups were disposable. Since it was the off-season, the owner even upgraded our room. Although the wallpaper was a bit peeling, it didn't affect our stay at all.
Moreover, right outside the inn is the owner's own travel photography studio. I'm so glad I didn't book one of those trendy shops recommended online in advance. The photo shoot here was absolutely fantastic 💖. The makeup artist was very gentle and recommended suitable hairstyles and makeup based on my face shape. I loved the photos, and there was absolutely no pressure during the selection process – completely voluntary.
A perfect ancient city experience, I'll definitely recommend it to my friends!

Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Crystal at concierge was there for us all the time.
Definitely recommended.
Only down point: the hotel is very difficult to find. To keep a higher level of exclusivity there is not a single indication on the street. Took a while and some local help to manage.
