"This was my first time visiting Pingyao Ancient City, and this guesthouse truly deserves its five-star rating. The overall decor creates an incredible ambiance. The courtyard offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, while the interior design is elegant and grand, exuding classical beauty at every turn! The room layout and furnishings show impeccable taste. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness; every corner was spotless, and the facilities were complete and a pleasure to use. The front desk lady and all the staff were dedicated, thoughtful, and handled everything gracefully and generously. You could feel their genuine sincerity and enthusiasm everywhere. Staying in such a comfortable place during my trip made the experience exceptionally pleasant. I highly, highly recommend it!!!"

"Let me elaborate.
**Courtyard Design:** Very beautiful, many scenic spots within the ancient city are decorated in a similar style.
**Room Amenities:** Given the prime location, the room isn't large, perhaps around 15 square meters. It has all the essentials and is very clean. The mattress was comfortable. Of course, it can't compare to high-end or luxury hotels. Its main advantage is its excellent location; it's very convenient for exploring, and you can easily pop back for a rest when you get tired.
**Service:** The staff were very service-oriented. When we arrived, there weren't many guests, and the service was very attentive.
**Breakfast:** It's not a buffet; it's a fixed-menu breakfast, like a 'nine-grid' style. It looks very appealing, and the taste is decent enough to fill you up.
Overall, it's a good stay. Naturally, for this price point within the ancient city, you shouldn't compare it to hotels of the same price outside. It's incomparable, primarily due to its superb geographical advantage."

"My mother and two aunts came to Shanxi for a trip before the May Day holiday, and their first stop was Pingyao Ancient City. When I started looking for a hotel for them, I immediately noticed Qianxiqing, which is very close to the North Gate of the ancient city. Its antique decor perfectly matches the characteristics of the ancient city. After browsing further, I found that the hotel facilities were very new and high-end, and they also offered services like station pick-up, so I decisively made a reservation.
On the day of their arrival, I communicated with the owner in advance. The owner was kind, amiable, and meticulously provided me with an introduction, and understood the details needed for the pick-up. For the pick-up, the owner personally used a Mercedes-Benz van, which was quite a high-class touch! Upon arrival at the hotel, he patiently and thoroughly explained the hotel's features and provided information about some attractions in Pingyao Ancient City. He even contacted me after my mother and aunts went into the ancient city to inform them about some things to pay attention to while exploring. He was truly thoughtful. The next day when they checked out, the owner personally drove them to the North Gate.
Even though it was a short stay of less than a day, it truly demonstrated the highly professional standards and warm, attentive service of this hotel, the owner, and their team. It made me feel incredibly reassured. The next time I bring my family to visit the ancient city, I will definitely choose this hotel again!"

"My friends and I love simple, bright, and fresh decor, which is why we ultimately booked this B&B on Ctrip. The pick-up and drop-off service was perfect for us non-driving independent travelers; the car took us to the entrance of the ancient town, and then the shuttle bus from the ancient town dropped us right at the hotel entrance. This was so much better than dragging our luggage through the ancient town like other tourists. Although the B&B isn't on the main street of the ancient town, it's a short walk from everywhere, which is very convenient, and it offers a quiet retreat from the bustle. The butler's service was incredibly thoughtful; they gave us a map of the ancient town and even explained how to explore and where to eat. Even though it's a renovated old house, the interior feels very modern, and the hygiene is excellent. They provide disposable bath towels, regular towels, toilet seat covers, and even bathtub liners. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with attentive service, definitely recommended."

"The house is quite new, renovated last year, and the courtyard is very beautiful. The amenities are excellent, with smart home control throughout, a smart toilet, separate wet and dry areas, and convenient disposable towels and bath towels. "The hotel is in a very good location, with complete facilities, clean and sanitary, and various supplies prepared. Among the homestays in ancient cities across the country that I have stayed in, it is quite good. The inn is in the center of the ancient city, quiet in the hustle and bustle, and the bustling main road is just outside. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the main attractions, 2.3 minutes to the county government, and 7.8 minutes to Rishengchang and the escort agency. The hotel is inside, which is very quiet. The small courtyard is very beautiful, and I didn’t want to leave. The service is also very good, and they are responsive to our requests. They picked us up for free and sent us to the high-speed rail station. Other places charge 20 yuan. It was a very satisfying trip! ! !"

"I stayed at the Tingbo Hotel, and the location is absolutely fantastic, right at the entrance of the scenic area. You can step out and start exploring immediately, which is incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, so clean you could see your reflection, and the bed was super soft – I woke up feeling completely refreshed. The front desk staff were wonderful, always patiently answering my questions, truly thoughtful. I especially loved the hotel's decor style; it's very unique. Every corner is meticulously arranged and looks amazing in photos. Plus, the hotel service was excellent; it was such a pleasant stay. The value for money at this hotel is incredible. The price wasn't expensive, but the service and facilities were outstanding. It felt like a great deal. The hotel is clean, and its location near the north gate of the ancient city means you can walk everywhere, which is very convenient. I'll definitely come back next time."
