**Courtyard Design:** Very beautiful, many scenic spots within the ancient city are decorated in a similar style.
**Room Amenities:** Given the prime location, the room isn't large, perhaps around 15 square meters. It has all the essentials and is very clean. The mattress was comfortable. Of course, it can't compare to high-end or luxury hotels. Its main advantage is its excellent location; it's very convenient for exploring, and you can easily pop back for a rest when you get tired.
**Service:** The staff were very service-oriented. When we arrived, there weren't many guests, and the service was very attentive.
**Breakfast:** It's not a buffet; it's a fixed-menu breakfast, like a 'nine-grid' style. It looks very appealing, and the taste is decent enough to fill you up.
Overall, it's a good stay. Naturally, for this price point within the ancient city, you shouldn't compare it to hotels of the same price outside. It's incomparable, primarily due to its superb geographical advantage."

The location is superb, close to the North Gate of the Ancient City and Majia Courtyard, and just a 5-minute walk to the Ming and Qing Old Street. The owner is incredibly enthusiastic, offering pick-up and drop-off service at the ancient city gate, patiently explaining travel routes, helping to buy show tickets, and even giving Shanxi aged vinegar as a souvenir."

"This is the perfect place in a beautiful, old building right in the heart of the historical city center. The room was nice, elegant, and beautifully furnished. The biggest plus is the wonderful family who runs the place. They went above and beyond by picking us up and dropping us off at the station for free. They also gave us excellent tips and information in English to help us explore the city, including some amazing restaurant recommendations. The only minor detail to note is the bathroom boiler, which takes a little time to warm up again after the first shower. Still, I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!"

The room was spotless, so clean you could see your reflection, and the bed was super soft – I woke up feeling completely refreshed. The front desk staff were wonderful, always patiently answering my questions, truly thoughtful. I especially loved the hotel's decor style; it's very unique. Every corner is meticulously arranged and looks amazing in photos. Plus, the hotel service was excellent; it was such a pleasant stay. The value for money at this hotel is incredible. The price wasn't expensive, but the service and facilities were outstanding. It felt like a great deal. After a 5-minute walk down a small alley, you're right on the bustling South Street, making it a perfectly quiet retreat amidst the action. "During the Chinese New Year, I decided to visit the renowned Pingyao Ancient City and carefully chose the Yushe Boutique Hotel. The day before our arrival, someone from the hotel contacted us to offer a pick-up service and even sent us a detailed list of suggestions for exploring the ancient city – truly thoughtful! The owner's sister, who picked us up, meticulously introduced us to the history of the ancient city and current conditions over the next two days. Upon arrival, the owner's brother was equally thorough, demonstrating the diligent character typical of Shanxi people! Our family of four's room was impeccable in terms of space, cleanliness, and bedding. Later, chatting with the owner, I learned they operate with the quality standards of Atour Hotels, which explained why the sleep was so comfortable.
One evening, the water pressure for the kids' shower was a bit low. The next morning, I spoke to the owner's brother, who explained it was due to the high volume of tourists in the ancient city causing low water pressure. They later installed a booster pump and resolved the issue!
Finally, before leaving, we bought some wine and vinegar from the owner after tasting them all – they were delicious. And to top it off, the owner kindly drove us to the train station! Many, many thanks!

The owners are lovely and very friendly and helpful and provided detailed information on the town. They provided a pick up from the station, which is really nice. It's very peaceful and quite and I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend staying here.

This guesthouse is located right inside Pingyao Ancient City, and you can see the bustling main street just by turning right out the door – super convenient! The courtyard is designed in the traditional Shanxi folk style, and they even have several vats of their own homemade wine and various flavored vinegars for guests to sample. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. They offer pick-up and drop-off service from the parking lot outside the ancient city for both check-in and check-out. The young lady at the front desk even gave us tour recommendations, which was very thoughtful and detailed. The young man working at the guesthouse helped us with our luggage throughout our stay, and we even received a parting gift when we checked out. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay. The employee who checked us in was very friendly and gave us many great local recommendations of where to visit and where to eat! The hotel was very unique and beautiful with so much history. The staff also scheduled complementary pickup and drop off to the train station which was very convenient for our arrival and departure.

My mother and two aunts came to Shanxi for a trip before the May Day holiday, and their first stop was Pingyao Ancient City. When I started looking for a hotel for them, I immediately noticed Qianxiqing, which is very close to the North Gate of the ancient city. Its antique decor perfectly matches the characteristics of the ancient city. After browsing further, I found that the hotel facilities were very new and high-end, and they also offered services like station pick-up, so I decisively made a reservation.
On the day of their arrival, I communicated with the owner in advance. The owner was kind, amiable, and meticulously provided me with an introduction, and understood the details needed for the pick-up. For the pick-up, the owner personally used a Mercedes-Benz van, which was quite a high-class touch! Upon arrival at the hotel, he patiently and thoroughly explained the hotel's features and provided information about some attractions in Pingyao Ancient City. He even contacted me after my mother and aunts went into the ancient city to inform them about some things to pay attention to while exploring. He was truly thoughtful. The next day when they checked out, the owner personally drove them to the North Gate.
Even though it was a short stay of less than a day, it truly demonstrated the highly professional standards and warm, attentive service of this hotel, the owner, and their team. It made me feel incredibly reassured. The next time I bring my family to visit the ancient city, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

A wonderful inn nestled in a tranquil location amidst the bustle of the city. From the initial pick-up and parking arrangements to the final departure, there was not a single unpleasant experience; they were incredibly attentive, helpful, and meticulous. The inn is elegant, clean, and tidy. The staff are friendly, patient, and responsive. The aroma of freshly baked bread fills the air daily, and the Chinese and Western breakfasts are cooked to order. While the variety isn't extensive, every bite is satisfying, especially the bowl of beef noodles, which is incredibly good! The room's simple and elegant decor perfectly reflects the ancient city's style. No matter how exhausted you are from exploring, returning to the courtyard provides a truly relaxing and tranquil experience. Overall, it was a truly wonderful two-day stay. I'd especially like to thank Ms. Dong Yanxia (I think that's her name) for her patient, meticulous, and attentive service, which has left me and my family with wonderful memories of this holiday!
