"Everything perfect! The stay was amazing! The big shared area ís lovable. I booked a bed in the dormitory and at the end I was alone in a room of 2 with private bath. Probably due to low season. Anyway, bed was confy and clean. Bath perfect with soap and towels available. Totally recommended"

"This stay at the guesthouse was absolutely fantastic! The owner was incredibly warm and kind. When I arrived at the entrance to the ancient city, he immediately rode his electric scooter to help me with my luggage and even gave me a ride – so convenient! The location was also superb, very close to Xiaonanmen (South Gate), making getting around incredibly convenient. They even upgraded my room for free upon check-in, and kindly extended my check-out time during the off-season. When I checked out, my train was late, and I wanted to stay a little longer for a little extra, but the owner readily agreed and let me continue resting without any extra charge. Communication was smooth and efficient with any issues; the responses were prompt and thoughtful. He treated me like a friend throughout, providing excellent value and a fantastic experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!"

"We chose a 'kang' room (a traditional heated bed) for our family of three, and it was perfect, with all the necessary amenities. The guesthouse service was excellent; they contacted us beforehand about check-in. When we arrived during the day, they arranged an electric car to pick us up and help with our luggage, ensuring a seamless transfer from the parking lot. The owner is really nice too; I left my phone in the room when we went out, and the uncle professionally delivered it to us! 👍"

"This guesthouse has a fantastic location, very close to the South Gate and Little South Gate. It's super convenient to walk back from the Little South Gate after watching the light show in the evening, especially since the main South Gate closes. It's also just a 10-15 minute walk to various attractions along the main road. The owner is incredibly welcoming and keeps the place spotless. She's so diligent; every morning for the three days I stayed, I'd see her busy cleaning. The restaurant she recommended was also great, and we even got a discount there!"

"This guesthouse is absolutely wonderful! The courtyard has a century of history, giving it an antique charm. It's very close to the South Gate and just a few minutes' walk from the attractions, exactly as described. The owner is incredibly warm and diligent. I contacted them in advance and got a discount on tickets for 'See Pingyao Again'. Upon arrival, the owner gave me a map, explained the must-see sights, circled them, and even provided several restaurant coupons, including one for Hongwuji. They provide disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, soap, disposable slippers, regular slippers, and disposable toilet seat covers. Toilet paper and tissues are also provided, along with a small water dispenser. The room was very clean, with an electric blanket, air conditioning, a bathroom with a shower, and a night light. The sheets and duvet covers were also spotless. The courtyard is very close to the County Government Office and the Confucius Temple, and because it's off the main street, it's very quiet at night. The 'kang' (heated bed) was quite large, easily accommodating two adults and two children in one room. Six of us booked two rooms for two nights, and my family was all very satisfied. There's a pavilion in the courtyard; it was lovely to sit there, soak up the sun, and drink tea when the sun came out at midday. The owner even gave us a pot of vinegar as a parting gift. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit."
