"The room was well-equipped, spacious, bright, and clean, making it very comfortable. A fruit platter was even provided in the evening. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, including millet porridge, milk, small steamed buns, and several delicate side dishes – very nutritious. Special praise goes to the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive, providing pick-up and drop-off service at the station and even giving us a map of the ancient city, pointing out the main attractions as he explained them – extremely helpful for us first-time visitors to Pingyao."
