"The location is fantastic, right next to the pier, making it super convenient for island hopping. The rooms are clean and tidy, and all the staff are young, friendly, and very attentive. I highly recommend the sea view rooms – the large balcony offers breathtaking ocean sunsets. The rooftop restaurant serves delicious food with stunning panoramic views of the pier and surrounding mountains. Dining there at sunset creates an amazing atmosphere! I accidentally left cash behind when checking out, and the hotel proactively helped me wire it back. Their integrity and service are both top-notch. This is my top choice for a trip to Komodo!"

"This hotel has very clear pros and cons. First, the cons: for this price point, the rooms are a bit small. It's also a little noisy due to its proximity to the pier. On the bright side, its location right on the main street is super convenient. The restaurant on the 6th floor offers a lovely sea view while you have breakfast. The breakfast buffet is also pretty good value for money. All drinks in the minibar are complimentary, and they deliver a small dessert to your room daily."

"The hotel is very centrally located, and from my balcony I was able to enjoy an exceptional view of the harbour, accompanied by a stunning sunset that I will never forget. Although the hotel is not particularly new, the service was excellent throughout my stay. Rooms are kept in pristine conditions, and are provided with all amenities you need. At street level there is a convenient minimart with an ATM, as well as a few shops within the same building. The restaurant also offers barbecue options at very reasonable prices. In addition, the swimming pool was remarkably clean and cosy, featuring another spectacular view over the harbour. I only spent one night there, but it is definitely an experience I will always remember."

"An absolutely fantastic 3 night stay. It feels like Santorini! Comfy clean and quiet rooms, amazing shower and toilet amenities, refreshing swimming pool, decent gym and excellent food options. The staff were all superb too. With excellent value for money. Would highly recommend!"

"I booked a Peak View Premium Room, but it turned out to be on the first floor. When I opened the window, all I saw was a wall. I checked, and the sea view room was only a few tens of yuan more expensive, but it was a beach cabin. I really got a raw deal (bloody loss). I arrived at the hotel around 9 am and asked if I could check in early, perhaps at 12 pm, if the room was clean. I was told 'no, no, no,' and that I had to wait until exactly 2 pm. I was waiting for the welcome drink on the beach. The redemption card showed it could be used from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. At 11 am, when I asked, they said the restaurant was being cleaned and I had to wait. My companion and I were lying on the beach chairs, and no one came to offer us even a single towel, yet all the Caucasians on the adjacent chairs had towels. 🤷 My friend also asked how much it would cost to get a ride to the city. They said 100,000 Indonesian Rupiah (39 RMB) for a one-way trip. So, they dropped my friend off in the city. When it was time for them to return to the hotel, they couldn't be reached. The hotel kept ignoring messages, leaving them hanging. In the end, with no other option, they had to take a motorcycle taxi in a torrential downpour, speeding back on mountain roads. 👍"

"Beautiful boutique hotel, attentive staff. The hotel grounds consist of a beautiful green garden with a free form pool that looks out to the sea. Very relaxing to just chill and do nothing by the pool. Spacious rooms and windows look towards the sea for beautiful sunsets. However, breakfast buffet needs improvement taste wise. Although there is variety, it is far from delicious. Tasteless fried rice, noodles, and pastries that a doughey. Even the jam spread provided comes out chunky like a hard jelly. Room shower water pressure is on the weaker side. Hotel is a 20 min walk to tourist street in town, which is ok in bright daylight but a little scary at night as the streetside is dark , quiet and walkway flanked by shrubs and tall grass."

"Staying at Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo was an absolute delight. Despite being a relatively new property, having opened about a year and a half ago, it runs with the precision and grace of a seasoned resort. The warmth and hospitality of the staff were unmatched from the moment I arrived, and I must give a special compliment to the efficient and helpful luggage service. The security team, the front desk personnel, and the F&B team were all incredibly proactive and obliging, making sure I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout my stay. Special mention to the front desk staff who were very helpful with our queries, reservations and check-out: Denal and Amelia 😊👋 I also want to highly compliment the day tour I took, which covered six different destinations. It was a perfect crash course of the entire national park and was well worth the money. I highly recommend anyone staying here to take up that one-day tour for an unforgettable experience seeing the dragons up close, frolicking on pink sands, snorkeling with turtles and manta rays and basking on a Bank crescent sandbank surrounded by crystal blue waters. While the breakfast variety was impressive and the chefs did a fantastic job keeping dishes stocked, the coffee/tea service was prompt...there is a small room for improvement in plate clearance. Being a bit more attentive to clearing used plates would certainly elevate the dining experience even further. Adding to that, we noticed that salt and pepper cruets weren't always consistently placed on every table, so ensuring those are readily available would be a great way to enhance convenience for guests. Additionally, Katamaran could significantly boost its appeal by offering complimentary access to its aquatic sports amenities, such as paddle boats, water bikes, and kayaking. We realized the free activities were not as popular though. Overall, with stunning views, excellent warm personalized service, I would highly recommend this hotel and will not hesitate to stay here again."

"Really liked it. I stayed in a villa for 1400 [currency, presumably local like IDR], and while it wasn't huge, it was beautiful and even came with a floating breakfast. Overall, the breakfast can't compare to Ayana's, but the accommodation offers good value for money. The laundry service was quick; my clothes were washed and returned to the room within three or four hours. Food deliveries aren't allowed in, so you have to pick them up yourself at the main entrance. The spa was just okay, more expensive than Canggu's and the technique wasn't as good. If you're just looking for a place to stay, I'd definitely recommend it."

"The hotel itself was average but stuff was super nice and very friendly. We slept one night here before our trip to Komodo islands while during the trip we had itching through the whole body. As we came back to hotel we realised the itching was due to small ants all over the apartment even in the bed. We changed the hotel but stuff was super nice and they start fixing the problem immediately and also they arranged us a transport to the other hotel. Other rooms would be probably nice and without any problem. 5/10 recommend just because of location and very nice stuff"

"My overall stay at the Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo was excellent! The hotel is new, clean, and well-maintained with complete facilities. The room was very comfortable and cozy. The staff were warm and friendly. Both the room service and overall service were top-notch. The airport transfer was smooth and hassle-free, making getting around very convenient. The only minor drawback was that the hotel restaurant's food was just okay, nothing particularly special. Later, I tried some local trendy restaurants, but after eating there, my stomach wasn't feeling great. It made me realize that the hotel's dining was actually cleaner and felt much safer to eat. One suggestion: Ctrip bookings couldn't be synced with the official IHG app, which made it inconvenient for international guests to contact the hotel in advance, and the third-party replies were quite slow. After landing, the shuttle service wasn't clearly explained, so I ended up walking to the hotel. Overall, the hotel is modern, clean, reliable, and hassle-free. It's highly recommended for short trips, and I would definitely prioritize staying here again for future short getaways. For a longer, relaxing beach vacation, I might reconsider the location. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it!"
