"Richmonde Hotel Ortigas is a well-aged hotel that has clearly stood the test of time. I originally booked a Standard Room via Trip.com and decided to pay extra to upgrade to a Junior Suite upon arrival. It was absolutely worth it. One of the experienced staff recommended a room with an excellent view, and the scenery did not disappoint. The bed is very comfortable, perfect for a good night’s rest. The pillows, however, are on the softer side; I personally stacked three pillows to achieve better neck support. The air-conditioning is very powerful—almost freezing at times. I wasn’t entirely sure how to adjust it, and it seems to be set in Fahrenheit, but it works extremely well for those who enjoy a cold room. All the room lighting works as intended. The lights are on the warm, dim (orange) side, which seems intentionally designed to match the hotel’s classic and cozy ambience. It gives the room a calm, relaxing feel, especially at night. One small suggestion would be to provide additional plastic trash bags in the room and bathroom. I use food delivery services quite frequently during my stay and prefer to clear waste daily for cleanliness. The Junior Suite comes with a larger Smart TV, which was a pleasant surprise. You can easily log in to your own Netflix account—watching shows in bed felt like having a mini private cinema in the room. Extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The gym is a big plus—open from 6am to 9pm and almost always empty. It honestly felt like I had the entire gym to myself, which made workouts very pleasant. The swimming pool is currently closed for renovation, which is understandable. While the room is generally clean and comfortable, it could benefit from renovation and deeper cleaning. The wooden doors, curtains, desks, and drawers are showing their age and would greatly improve the overall experience if refreshed. That said, for a hotel that is over 25 years old, it has aged remarkably well. The location is excellent—one of the best aspects of this hotel. There are plenty of food and convenience options nearby, including 7-Eleven, Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, Pancake House, and more. SM Megamall is just a short walk away, making shopping, dining, and commuting extremely convenient. Most importantly, the service from the staff is outstanding. There are warm greetings everywhere you go, and the staff are consistently polite, professional, and helpful. Their hospitality truly enhances the overall stay and makes guests feel welcomed. I will be trying their breakfast buffet soon and will update my review afterward to share whether it exceeds expectations. Overall, Richmonde Hotel Ortigas offers great value, comfort, excellent service, and an unbeatable location. I would gladly recommend it to travelers who appreciate classic charm paired with genuine Filipino hospitality."

"The kindest hotel in Pasig City based on my experience. The front desk staff were very kind, and the way they spoke was gentle and polite. We also had a problem with the bathtub, so we called the front desk. The engineer arrived within 5 minutes and fixed it in another 5 minutes, even though it was around 11 PM. Their response was incredibly fast. I especially remember the FAB restaurant (for breakfast). A staff member named Mr. Zac was very kind, well-mannered, and spoke so gently. Actually not only him, but most of the staff were very kind and polite, showing that they had received special training. Considering the size of the hotel and the quality of the accommodation, the service we received was exceptional. The location is also very convenient, near Robinsons Mall and even connected to the hotel on the 3rd floor. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to visit again."

"Discovery Suites always hold a special place in my heart since my former company is located in the same building. We loved our 1st overnight stay before but, this one exceeded our expectations. The room is spacious, utilities were well provided but to top it all, they went the extra mile to prepare a sweet surprise for our daughter's birthday. I just requested for a message to be flashed on the TV or something but, they decorated the place and even prepared a sweet treat for her! She was overjoyed! Will definitely be back soon!"

"We enjoyed the complimentary cake and the free room upgrade we got plus the complete amenities. The breakfast buffet food could be improved a little in terms of flavor, but we did love their pastries (especially the Danish)! The pool was alright but a bit too chaotic for our liking considering there were lots of kids playing around. The staff was very kind and we got to check in faster than we expected (only 7 minutes past the check-in time). Above all, we loved the view from our room — will come back again!"

"The Ace Hotel and Suites not only offers a good stay but an overall great experience. The water spa inside the hotel, its location just a few minutes walk to Capitol Commons and Estancia Mall, lots of dining options in the area as well as in-house, etc. The room is also spacious and clean."

"We stayed here about 2 years ago, so we tried again. There was a bathtub, which was very good. We expected breakfast but too many fried foods. My daughter and I ordered omlets but the young staff couldn’t take order properly. I think she needs to study English more. We stayed for 2 nights but breakfast were almost same for 2 mornings."

"Food not splendid. Only drank coffee. Alot of food is not available even when ordering ala carte. Walkable distance to megamall but not really near. Not recommended for female as you have to walk through dark areas. Very congested (car wise) Good side is room is nice, clean. Aircon cold."
