The guards were welcoming and attentive. That tone carried all the way through the stay. Every single person we encountered was polite, warm, and genuinely helpful. Karl at the front desk stood out. World-class service. Calm, efficient, and professional. The kind of interaction that sets the tone for the entire stay. The location made everything easy. Being right near The Podium and Megamall meant we could step out for shopping or a good meal without planning too much. For a family trip, that convenience matters. Our room was spacious. Enough room for the three of us to move comfortably without feeling cramped. The kitchen was fully equipped for simple meals. We did not end up cooking, but knowing we could added flexibility to the stay. Small details were done right. The hot and cold controls for the shower, bathtub, and sink worked perfectly. No guessing. No sudden temperature shifts. Just consistent comfort. Breakfast was another highlight. Plenty of meat options, which I appreciated. A solid spread that felt satisfying and complete. Overall, it was a relaxed, well-run stay that worked perfectly for a family trip. Polite service, strong attention to detail, and a location that makes everything convenient. "Location - near highway, we got room 300plus fronting the hotel to the outside so a lot of noise. Room amenities- got 1 towel only for 2 pax, requested to the front desk but was not attended to. Aircon - not that cold and looks old Bathroom door has dry stains, clogged drainage and lavatory but the bathroom smell is ok. Also, it has a good running water and strong flush/bidet. Lobby felt eerie and has dark vibes The Pancit had small insect that we only later found out. Keycard is wornout. Neighboring room was noisy (loud bang when closing the door and had noises from the wall). fast wifi and Free Netflix Bed was hard and facing the door so it is bad feng shui."

The front desk staff were always available, and I wasn't required to pay a deposit when checking in. Picture 1 shows the breakfast restaurant on the 6th floor. "I had a five - day stay here and was entitled to one room cleaning or linen change. However, I was disappointed that when I requested it, the linens, pillowcases, bedsheets, and comforters were not changed. They didn't even refill the tissues or shampoo. I didn't bother checking earlier since I arrived at 2:00 AM and didn't wake up until 11:00 AM. I also didn't call reception because I was only an hour away from checking out when I woke up. However, the staff were very polite and welcoming."

The room was the usual—clean and spacious, very good for the price, but I wouldn't consider staying here again because of the lack of parking. I thought the place was convenient, but not really, because I wasn't willing to pay for overnight parking. "I love staying at Astoria Plaza mainly because of the wonderful customer service experience. The staff from the front desk to the housekeeping team are so friendly and accommodating. The awesome staff in the restaurant are so attentive. Big thank you goes to Ador and Jinky for their kind attention especially when I had laryngitis, made me some “salabat” (ginger tea) with lemon & honey.   Con: The only reason I’ll consider not staying at Astoria again is the high bathtub/shower in the one bedroom suite. I am a senior citizen with some mobility issues. Going in and out of the high bathtub is quite challenging now. It’s a fall risk area, no hand bars for support so I had to crawl out of it."
