"Location - near highway, we got room 300plus fronting the hotel to the outside so a lot of noise.
Room amenities- got 1 towel only for 2 pax, requested to the front desk but was not attended to.
Aircon - not that cold and looks old
Bathroom door has dry stains, clogged drainage and lavatory but the bathroom smell is ok. Also, it has a good running water and strong flush/bidet.
Lobby felt eerie and has dark vibes
The Pancit had small insect that we only later found out.
Keycard is wornout.
Neighboring room was noisy (loud bang when closing the door and had noises from the wall). fast wifi and Free Netflix

"I love staying at Astoria Plaza mainly because of the wonderful customer service experience. The staff from the front desk to the housekeeping team are so friendly and accommodating. The awesome staff in the restaurant are so attentive. Big thank you goes to Ador and Jinky for their kind attention especially when I had laryngitis, made me some “salabat” (ginger tea) with lemon & honey.
Con: The only reason I’ll consider not staying at Astoria again is the high bathtub/shower in the one bedroom suite. I am a senior citizen with some mobility issues. Going in and out of the high bathtub is quite challenging now. It’s a fall risk area, no hand bars for support so I had to crawl out of it."

"Wynwood Hotel was a good experience considering the price.
The staff were very gentle, polite, and kind. Check-in was fast and smooth, and the location was great. The hotel is within walking distance to Podium, SM Megamall, Shangri-La Plaza, and Robinsons Galleria, which was very convenient.
However, the amenities felt a bit limited for me, and the view from the room window was quite disappointing because the next building was very close.
The breakfast was good. Before booking, I saw many reviews saying the breakfast was excellent, so my expectations were quite high. Although it did not exceed my expectations, I was not disappointed either.
The Wi-Fi was very fast and reliable. The soundproofing was also good. Even though it was the Christmas season and the hotel seemed busy, it was very quiet inside the room.
There are two elevators, but only one was operating during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient, especially during the holiday season. Another issue for me was the shower water temperature, as it kept changing from hot to cold, making it difficult to shower comfortably.
Overall, considering the price, amenities, facilities, and room condition, I think the stay was worth the cost, and I was satisfied with my stay."

Room: spacious, clean, smelled okay, aircon and TV was working fine, mini bar ref cover was loose and cannot be closed properly. Pillows, bed cover and Bed Sheets was superb and had a good night sleep.
The room was not as advertised before booking. It clearly indicated that the business queen room offers wired internet access, however upon checking the room we did not find any. The front desk advice that all rooms does not have wired internet access and it does not work. The sole purpose of my booking was due to business purposes and the wired internet connection was the top priority. Though the wireless internet worked properly from 2am to 6am, intermittent connection is experienced after those hours. (Was using laptop 💻).
After 3 days we decided to add another night then requested to have the room cleaned. We called the front desk attention multiple times and went outside to give the cleaners time but upon our return the room was still not cleaned so we needed to call the front desk attention again twice before someone came up to clean.

AAshraf WinchesterI had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was incredibly comfortable—honestly, the bed was so cozy that I fell asleep almost instantly every night. It made a huge difference after a long day. The staff were also outstanding. Everyone was warm, attentive, and treated me exceptionally well throughout my stay, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for comfort and excellent service. I’d definitely come back again.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location in Ortigas, Pasig City, is fantastic. It's within walking distance to Mega Mall and The Podium, and if traffic isn't bad, it's only about a 30-minute drive to the airport. So, geographically, I was very satisfied.
However, there were some disappointing aspects regarding the service. It was difficult to reach housekeeping and reception by phone. Even though I booked for two people, there was only one pair of indoor slippers and one bathrobe, which was a bit of a letdown.
Especially at check-in, despite only two people being ahead of me and seeing more than five staff members, I still had to wait for almost 20 minutes. I was told they would call me when the room was ready, so I waited in the lobby for over 10 minutes. When no one called, I went back to reception only to find out the key was already prepared. Furthermore, the hotel facilities were supposed to include a bathtub, but I was assigned a room without one. It took nearly 30 minutes to get it changed. Thanks to this, I did get an upgrade from a queen to a king bed, but the slow response times, lack of amenities, and somewhat outdated facilities were undeniably disappointing. There was also a continuous thumping noise after 2 AM, and in the morning, I discovered it was due to construction in the adjacent room. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also an issue, with hair found in the bathtub.
On the brighter side, the breakfast was a neat Asian-style meal. Although the variety wasn't extensive, the taste was decent.
Given that I knew it wasn't a brand-new hotel before booking, I wasn't bothered by the older facilities. The unobstructed view and convenient access to nearby amenities and transportation were great, and I was very satisfied with the price. Therefore, I highly recommend this hotel for business travelers or anyone looking for a good value-for-money trip.

Staff are nice, friendly, and attentive.
Bed is comfortable, aircon is cool, and showers have adequate pressure.
Cons:
For a new hotel, the furnishings, panels, and walls already show wear and tear. Some panels and tiles show signs of rushed work. Construction noises are loud and I was not given any prior notice about it.
The room door is annoyingly hard to open.
Elevators lack card detectors on both sides; layout is confusing.
Security people are nice, but they do too much frisking of my things and the entrance/exit layout is also confusing. The lobby is too small.
Amenities are lacking, only a gym is available for leisure activities.
Overall, average stay with lots of room for improvement.

Extra towels and/or dental kits (outside of declared number of guests) incur additional charges - the front desk tried to charge me outright without even asking fo context regarding my request (there were no dental kits in our room hasn’t even been made up yet.) Housekeeping is not 24/7. Verify their policies and clarify your expectations upon check in. The bathroom in our unit wasn’t draining water properly outside of the shower area so there was always a puddle of water in front of the toilet and sink area. The spaces are from serviced apartment models which feature very outdated interiors and fit-out (the TVs aren’t even smart TVs yet, but you can cook in the units wherein an electric stove and a microwave, plus a couple of pots, pans, and plates are provided). The fridge is full-sized. The breakfast buffet is very basic, but the dining staff members were very accommodating and truly do the best job they can with what’s provided. Good location because it is in the center of Ortigas CBD. If you are just looking for a decent place to rest your head after a day out in the area, this property offers good value for the money. Good for groups for as long as you avail the appropriate room type. The spaces come from a time wherein floor plans for condos were not stingy on space. If you expect top-notch service, there are better options elsewhere.
