"This newly opened hotel is situated just before the national park, offering easy access and close proximity to various dining spots. Outdoor parking for both electric and regular vehicles is available at the back. Rooms are new and clean, with the added luxury of a bathtub on the balcony. I highly recommend opting for a room on the back side to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. The front-facing rooms overlook the swimming pool, offering less privacy. Rooms are fully equipped with all necessary amenities, and the ceilings feature beautiful 'shooting star' lights. It's ideal for families with children, as it boasts a heated swimming pool and a dedicated kids' play area."

"We’d stayed for 2 nights with hoping to face the piece of nature and also having Thai style decorations. Here is the place that has everything we hope for, the room decorated in Thai pavilion style, their garden is superb. Full of big tree, Thai tree with well landscape, so you can enjoy walking or small running. Transportation is very convenient, no worries if you hungry at night. What i like the most is they have their own coffee shop called Ro So 112 where you can enjoy a hundred years of Thai building that reserved as a museum inside the cafe area. Overall we have very well experienced here and will come back again when I need to travel Khao yai national park."

"The hotel is situated within the Movenpick complex. The grounds are incredibly vast, featuring multiple zones and amenities, perfect for leisurely walks and enjoying the scenery. Our room was spacious and fully equipped. There's also a swimming pool for guests to use. While the room itself was well soundproofed and quiet, loud music was unfortunately broadcast over the PA system quite early in the morning. We experienced two power outages during our stay, which was understandable as it was the rainy season. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of options, and the dining area boasted beautiful views and a pleasant atmosphere. For those who enjoy morning exercise, the resort grounds are ideal for jogging."

"The hotel is very near Khao Yai national park - it is the perfect place to be if you are looking to go into the national park quickly. there is a very nice village kind of atmosphere - there are plots for farming, rabbits and chickens. The Thai food at the restaurant is decent and the outdoor dining area has a good atmosphere at night. Rooms were nice on first impression and staff were helpful. It was a nice touch to have a welcome drink. A switch was not working in my room and the water in the shower was not strong - the hot and cold water toggles were not working properly. Spotted some dirt stains lm the toilet floor."

"One of the most impressive stays I’ve ever had. The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful, green, clean, and beautifully maintained. During our visit, it was a long holiday and quite busy, yet we were able to check in on time. The room was spotless, with excellent soundproofing, and the housekeeping staff were lovely. We enjoyed an oil spa treatment and traditional Thai massage — everyone in the family agreed it was wonderful. Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile, from the parking lot attendants, front desk, spa therapists, and restaurant team to the pool staff, security guards, and café baristas. For dinner, we tried The Fable Fest and every dish was just as delicious as the reputation promised. At the Rabbit Café, the shio pan and coffee were outstanding — every cup and every bite was delightful. In short, this stay was truly memorable in every way. This is one of those hotels that can genuinely make you smile from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave."

"The parking lot is large, the lobby is equipped with self-service drinks such as Kuqiao tea, the breakfast is excellent, the accommodation environment is second to none in Beichong, and the price is very high. There is a convenience store downstairs and life is very convenient."

"Every snapshot here is a scenic view! Highly recommend this place; it's the best resort and golf course in Khao Yai! I'll definitely be back for a second visit! The resort also offers cycling, tennis, badminton, a swimming pool, and a playground, all of which are excellent! The facilities are top-notch! Service is 100%! I've already recommended it to my friends."

"U Khao Yai is absolutely wonderful! The public areas of the hotel are very impressive, high vaulted ceilings and faux French decor, furnishings and nursery rhyme artwork and ornaments - which some might consider tacky but as it’s clearly designed and presented as nouveau, the hotel is offering a modern day take on a French country house / chateau, it does actually work. Highlights for us was the garden view suite (72m2) after which we moved when we extended our stay for a third night to a lake view Deluxe (47m2) as our suite had been sold whilst we made up our minds to stay on! However, we actually preferred the lake view (218) as it offered a far more substantial balcony and a different aspect to the front of the hotel, overlooking the aforementioned lake, fountains, more wonderful gardens and the quite impressive residential houses opposite - and all of this for 700baht or so less a night than the suite. The Papillon restaurant we used for 2 of our 3 nights - a fair selection of “Farang style” Thai food is offered but I personally couldn’t see much further than the fabulous selection of Australian steaks and burgers on offer! Wines by the glass are well priced but further enhanced by the “2 for 1 Happy Hour” between 5-6pm and at all other times “but 2 get 1 free” offer which actually makes buying wine by the glass over 7 glasses, a lot cheaper than buying by the bottle! The service in Papillon was perfect too - laid back, no rushing, a really stylish and welcoming dining experience with fabulously presented food and friendly and efficient waiting staff. The impeccably clean pool area is beautiful too, looking out as it does on the fantastically well tended rear gardens and river although the sun-beds are in fairly short supply at peak use times and strangely there are no parasols on offer. We did also feel that a poolside drinks / snack service should be offered - we would definitely have used it during our morning by the pool which I would add is a very pleasant temperature and has spotlessly clean water. We did use the Spa, having booked a couples 2 hour hot stone massage therapy session and we were both very, very impressed with the spa facility itself and even moreso with the two masseuses who were assigned to us - they are clearly experts in their professions and we came out literally walking on air. Whilst we didn’t have any real lowlights, in order to improve the hotel (and perhaps to attain a 5 star rating from the current 4) I’d offer up the following as constructive criticism:- 1. Change out all your old and outdated in room TV’s. Hotel rooms nowadays simply must offer a Smart TV. We felt that this was a BIG miss and it urgently needs to be rectified as is not in keeping with 21st century hotel accommodation AV equipment standards. 2. Provide proper in room mini and snack bars. 3. The breakfast was borderline disappointing. 4. Be a little cautious of the U’s charging policy for food, beverages and importantly spa treatments. I say this as their (admittedly clearly stated) policy is to add 10% service charge plus 7% tax to these items of expenditure and to their room tariff when booked directly with them. The end result of this was that I booked my rooms (with breakfast included) through Trip.com at a better rate than U could offer and the policy made our two spa treatments menu’d at 2700 baht x 2 = 5400 baht a whopping 6318 baht. All in all the U Khai Yai gave us a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable experience, far exceeding our initial expectations. We are both of the opinion that U Khai Yai’s gardens, lakes and waterfalls, are truly incredible achievements, making the hotel stand out from the regular crowd. The staff should be rightly proud of their achievements in all areas of operation - take a bow Team U Khao Yai, you are going a truly awesome job!"

"We had a mountain view room and it was nice and relaxing looking out the balcony in the morning. There were some campfire chairs near the pool which also felt very relaxing. The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful. However, the room was clearly getting old. Furniture had clear signs of age and peeling off. The cleanliness could also be better. The hinge to a cabinet was loose, there were spider webs at the corner, the bath towels were frayed and looked grayish. But the worst was that the shower hose broke with a light tug, which suggest how old it is. The technician came to replace it shortly but it was such a shocking and unpleasant situation overall."
