Dubai Beach Hotels

"Free Airport Shuttle (T1 & T3): Surprisingly on time and easy to find. Just ask the hotel for their time schedule. My only issue is that during my return flight, the bus driver dropped me off at the arrival area and I got lost in the airport 😅 Check-in: It was a breeze. Hotel scent: It smells good but it is not comfortable on the nose (compared to Okada and Shangri-la scent). Location: Near the airport and walking distance to the metro, Deira mall (sometimes open till 1am), restaurants, and other shops Amenities: pool + gym + conference room + laundry room + work area + play area + locker room with weighing scale + vending machine + convenience store Toiletries: No free slippers + toothbrush + toothpaste but they have body wash + shampoo/conditioner + hand soap Internet: It was fast but the FB video call keeps on dropping. Dunno why. Breakfast: good selection but you'll easily get tired of it if you are staying in the hotel for a long time. They also provide TWG tea. Dinner: Their baked salmon and chicken butter are really good. Tours / Forex: The hotel offers paid tours and currency exchange. Hospitality: All of the staff are nice and friendly. Free Bus: There is a free bus to Dubai Mall, beach, etc. Just ask the hotel for the schedule Note: Rove Hotel has various locations in Dubai. If you want free airport shuttle + easy accessibility, choose the Deira City location. If you want the beach, choose the La Mer Beach location. If you want IG worthy views, choose the Downtown location. Taxi/Careem: If you'll take a taxi or Careem from the hotel to the Marina/Downtown/ Helicopter area (vice versa), you'll spend ＞=$30 per trip 😅 But Dubai is really expensive in general. Prepaid: Unlike in other hotels where you can pay during your arrival, you have to pre-pay your booking on Trip. Moreover, I was charged more than the amount because of the Mastercard surcharge issue coz Trip does not have a bank account in my country."

"First off, I need to mention that this hotel has a mandatory breakfast charge for children. Since my child usually doesn't eat breakfast, when I booked the room, I only included breakfast for two adults. However, upon check-in, the front desk informed us that according to hotel policy, children must pay for breakfast even if they don't eat it, simply by being guests. So, despite my child not eating, we were charged 75 AED per day for breakfast, totaling 225 AED for our three-night stay. I usually don't write reviews, but for the benefit of future travelers from my country, I felt it was important to share this situation for their reference. To be fair, the hotel's location is unbeatable. It's incredibly close to Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa, just a 10-minute walk away. However, getting to the metro station is a bit of a trek; I'd recommend taking a bus near the hotel that goes directly to the metro entrance. While the room was spacious, the bed was quite small and uncomfortable. The breakfast quality was very average; the eggs seemed to be cooked without being washed first (you can see in the pictures). On the bright side, the restaurant environment was pleasant, and you could see the Burj Khalifa from there. The staff were all very nice and enthusiastic in assisting with any requests. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, and I won't be staying here again."

"I had a great stay at the hotel. The service was really good, especially the shuttle bus staff—they were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant hall also offered delicious food, and the staff there were friendly and attentive. The pool area was welcoming and relaxing as well. Overall, a pleasant experience and definitely worth recommending."

"This was our first stay in Dubai, and the front desk lady was incredibly nice, kind, and patient. Even with my broken English, she politely and patiently answered all my questions, giving us very detailed guidance. I've forgotten her name, but she was really beautiful. I even chatted with her using a domestic AI app, and although the conversation wasn't perfectly smooth, we had a great time. I actually feel a bit embarrassed now because we hadn't adopted the custom of tipping back then. There are many mosques in Dubai, and there's a beautiful one right next to this hotel. It's also very close to Dubai Mall, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to both Dubai Mall and Kite Beach, which is super convenient and thoughtful. Thumbs up!👍"

"The hotel is new and modern; however, my stay was severely affected by multiple room defects and poor service handling. The hair dryer in the bathroom was defective, with the cover broken. When I reported this, the engineer came but was unable to fix it and advised me to hold the exposed wire while using the hair dryer, which is a serious safety hazard and i got shock once. Additionally, the room phone was intermittently not working and could only be used on loudspeaker. As a result, I had to walk down to the lobby every time I needed assistance, which was extremely inconvenient. The complimentary shuttle bus service was also poorly managed. The concierge staff emphasized that the shuttle was “not under their control” and that any issues were not their responsibility. I was told to wait and that an announcement would be made when the bus arrived. I ended up waiting for more than 50 minutes, with no announcement and no staff present to assist. There was no communication or support provided at all. Overall, while the property looks new, the lack of maintenance, safety concerns, and poor service coordination made this stay unacceptable. Will not book with them again."

"4th time visiting five palm and I have already booked for next year . Amazing restaurants , penthouse is great for a night out . The pool is amazing and the party vibe is great. Rooms are very modern with beautiful views from the balcony of the sea . Great location at the entrance of the palm and easy base to explore Dubai from"

"A hotel that exceeded my expectations! First off, the location is super convenient. You can walk to Dubai Mall and easily explore the entire mall plus the Burj Khalifa in one day. For dining, they've brought in a Fridays American restaurant. It's a mix of à la carte and buffet style, and everything I ordered was pretty good, no duds. There's also a convenience store right next to the restaurant with a great selection of bread, light meals, and snacks. The cleanliness is very well maintained; everything is spotless, and hot water for showers and such is always available. I'm quite sensitive to noise. My room faced the Burj Khalifa, and I could hear some traffic noise, but it was very manageable and didn't disturb my sleep. Overall, I still highly recommend it! Even though there was a premium due to peak season, I still feel it was worth it."

"This Ritz-Carlton is more suited for business travel, lacking much of a family-friendly, vacation vibe. Overall, it maintains a high-end luxury tone, with a classic opulent feel. Hygiene and service are excellent; the staff is professional, enthusiastic, and responsive. The rooms are well-maintained and fully equipped, and the spa experience is fantastic. The breakfast offers a rich variety of fresh ingredients. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Overall, it's a solid high-end accommodation – a safe bet for business trips! The location is great, near the Trade Center."
