"This is the best hotel in town, with excellent service and facilities. It's located away from the noisy city center, but you can easily catch a tuk-tuk right outside, and be at the pier or central shops in under 10 minutes. The breakfast is delicious, with a rotating variety each day – I highly recommend the desserts and grilled meats. In the evenings, there's a free shuttle van at 6, 7, and 8 PM that can take you to shops in town; just head to the lobby 5 minutes beforehand. You can also email to book airport transfer service, which is more convenient than a shared ride. After a day out at sea, it's incredibly relaxing to take a dip in the pool when you get back."

"My overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff. My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests. During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water. The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there."

"The view from the window overlooking the bay is breathtaking—definitely avoid rooms with a different view! The staff is fantastic, especially the reception team: incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and full of great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Big thanks to them for that! The restaurant service is good, but the food was underwhelming—breakfasts were quite basic. Only a few dishes on the menu were tasty; the rest need improvement. They should really revamp their offerings. The rooms are spotless, and housekeeping does an excellent job. The pool looks beautiful and well-maintained, but there’s an issue with unpleasant odors from the port, which sometimes makes swimming less appealing. The gym is poorly equipped—it could use more machines or at least an Olympic bar."

"The hotel is located on a mountain, from there there are views of the sea and the port, but not too beautiful. Very convenient service for delivery to and from the hotel. You call a tuk-tuk and in a couple of minutes you’re standing at the reception; you don’t have to struggle up the hill every time after dinner. At the hotel you can book tours around the islands, prices are the same as everywhere else, but pick-up from the hotel is late. If you are going to dive and sunbathe, then this is a normal option, but if you are going to Coron Island to lagoons and lakes, then it is better to look for a company with an earlier departure. The rooms are ok, the beds are good. Everything is clean, hot water is available. Breakfast is good, it’s good that they start early at 6.30 am. Group transfer from/to the airport costs 250 pesos per person, travel time is 40 minutes."

"I stayed there 5 nights. The front staff was very kind and friendly. The restaurant was good. I like the atmosphere. I could ask to keep my beer on their fridge as I didn't have it at my room. Speaking of my room, it was specious but a bit difficult to reach because I need to climb many stairs. However, if I need a hair dryer, I could ask the staff through ” what's up”, which was really convenient for me. Thank you Camila and one another ready."

"Our stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and disappointing experiences. The family room was quite small, and unfortunately, there were several insects that appeared to bite us, possibly mosquitoes. The hotel also does not have an elevator, which can be inconvenient, especially for guests carrying heavy luggage, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities. There are quite a lot of stairs—not only going up to the lobby and the rooms, but also to the rooftop bar and restaurant located on the 6th floor. The cleanliness of the common areas also needs improvement. The stairs leading to the lobby were not very clean, and there was even dog poop in the area during our stay. On the positive side, the staff were nice and accommodating. The service was good whenever we needed assistance. I also appreciated having a water dispenser with both hot and cold water available on every floor. The location is very convenient, as the hotel is close to the tour assembly area and surrounded by coffee shops, cafés, and restaurants. Overall, while the location and staff were good, I would not recommend this hotel for guests with heavy luggage, senior citizens, or PWDs because of the many stairs. The hotel would also benefit from improvements in cleanliness and pest control."

"Overall, my experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend it. The island itself is quite a distance from Coron town. Coron town and this island are located at the northern and southern ends of the main island, respectively. So, getting to the island from town involves an approximately one-hour car ride to the port, followed by a 40-minute boat trip. However, this remote location ensures the island's pristine environment. Here’s a breakdown of the activities available on the island: 1. **Free Activities:** These include snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, and mountain climbing. All were enjoyable, and the snorkeling waters were excellent. 2. **Paid Activities:** The prices for these are a bit steep. For example, an island-hopping tour for a day costs between 6000 and 8000 pesos, which I found to be poor value for money. I suggest arriving early and not sticking strictly to the 3 PM check-in time. Arriving earlier allows you to start enjoying the island's facilities right away. Regarding dining and service: 1. The overall service was impeccable. 2. Breakfast was decent. Considering the limited resources on the island, the variety offered was quite good. 3. There are two restaurants on the island. The food is tasty, but a bit pricey, costing around 150-200 RMB per person. In summary, the service and scenery here definitely justify the price."

"So-so. As soon as we arrived, we were checked into a ground-floor room with a view of a wall – just a concrete wall, no light at all. We immediately asked to be moved, and the woman at reception said that's the room we booked! I opened my booking on my phone and showed her we'd reserved a room on floors 2-4. Only then, with a very displeased look, did she offer us a room on the third floor with a view of a hillside where roosters and locals live in makeshift shacks. It's a shame that neither the room descriptions nor reviews mentioned anything about the location of the standard rooms; otherwise, we would have paid an extra 2k for a room with a balcony. The air conditioning was EXTREMELY loud, creaking and buzzing so much that we had to sleep with earplugs. The bathroom smelled putrid; you couldn't stay in there for long. The safe stopped working twice because the batteries died. They replaced them twice, and they only lasted half a day. After that, we just gave up and hid everything in our suitcases. Toothbrushes were never replenished. Breakfasts were also very meager. Food is served once, meaning that once a dish is empty, it stays empty until the end of breakfast. If you didn't manage to get some, you're out of luck for the day. Fruits and muffins disappear the fastest. On the first day, we arrived an hour before breakfast ended, and there were no fruits left at all. There are only 8 sun loungers by the pool for the entire hotel, so naturally, there were absolutely no spots available. The pool isn't cleaned either; in the area where the sun hits it most of the day, the water at the bottom is murky. The only positives are the location and relative cleanliness (the bed linen was clean, and the plumbing too). Upstairs, there's a beautiful restaurant with views of the entire bay and city. The waiters are very friendly, and the food is decent, especially compared to what we ate in town, and it's relatively inexpensive."

"Perfect hotel! We booked individual overwater villas, which was an interesting experience! The rooms were clean, and there was a good variety on the breakfast menu. There are two pools, one with fresh water and one with saltwater! There's also a separate pavilion for watching the sunset or just relaxing and admiring the beautiful surroundings, set a little distance from the shore! The staff are friendly, young guys always ready to help! They greeted us with welcome drinks and helped with our luggage! (This hotel should definitely be more expensive!)"

"The hotel is in a great location. You can easily walk to all the restaurants within 10-15 mins. The hotel itself is okay. The staffs are nice and the room is comfortable. The bathroom are great and shower has good water pressure. In terms on cleanliness, that could be improved. Our bedsheet and pillow cases have some stains but nothing too bad. The towel doesn’t smell so fresh but again, not a big issue. In general, an okay hotel to stay in coron, definitely convenient and comfortable. Our room and the rooftop have a nice view as well."
