"I was really looking forward to a beautiful New Year's Eve celebration. Since I had a child with me and couldn't stay up until midnight, I booked a fireworks view room at the Fuli Ocean World Hyatt Hotel a month in advance, based on last year's New Year's Eve information from Xiaohongshu. I wanted to have a drink on the balcony and count down together.
Well, it was a total bust.
After enjoying the buffet dinner at the hotel (the buffet was actually quite good), I ordered a bottle of wine early, put the kid to sleep, and waited for the fireworks on the balcony, since it was a fireworks view room after all. But it was a disaster. The main fireworks display area had been moved to my left rear, completely out of sight. I could only see some minor fireworks going off. I basically just listened to the sounds all night, and my mood was far from good. When I bought the wine, I even asked the staff, and they all said that as long as I could see the Ferris wheel, I'd see the fireworks. They probably didn't even know the launch location had changed.
I've never been to Ocean World before, and all my information came from online searches. I thought by spending a bit more on a better room, I could enjoy all the scenery from my balcony without leaving. Instead, it was just so awkward.
It's not so much about the money, but more that I spent the money and didn't get the service I expected."

"The hotel's service team is professional and enthusiastic. From check-in to check-out, the staff is not only friendly, especially the front desk staff Justin Xiaocai, who provides very good service from check-in to check-out, very thoughtful reminders, and very helpful. When I met me during the store, I would greet me warmly and provide guests with many practical suggestions and help. This kind of thoughtful service makes people feel warm, as if they are back home. The only thing is that the restaurant is a bit lacking. There are flies in the restaurant and the food is slow to be added. I hope it can be improved. I will come again next time. I hope the hotel will praise the employee Xiaocai."

"I stayed for four consecutive days, and the rainforest hot springs were an amazing experience. There are over a dozen different natural hot spring pools, each with its own unique charm. The hotel service was also good, and overall, it offers great value for money. I would definitely consider staying at this Hilton again for future vacations in Sanya."

"I spotted this hotel on Ctrip's rankings, drawn in by its incredible value for money. I booked it without a second thought, and my stay truly exceeded expectations.
The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful; it's a tranquil villa complex featuring a central swimming pool surrounded by lush, dense coconut groves.
They offered convenient shuttle service for both arrival and departure, and even helped with our luggage.
The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful. Guests can rent bikes or scooters directly from the front desk, which is not only fantastic value but also super convenient for exploring Shenzhou Peninsula and Shimei Bay. I even accidentally lost the key to our rented scooter, but they handled the situation smoothly and professionally.
I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

"I absolutely loved this hotel! The environment, facilities, and service were all fantastic. It's perfect for families with kids, as the hotel offers many activities for children, including go-karting, rock climbing, a bubble pool, and a large playground. Staying at the hotel was never boring, especially for the kids. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to Fenjiezhou Island, which is perfect for a day trip. It's definitely worth staying at. The hotel even included a complimentary travel photography experience, with family outfits provided free of charge. We had a wonderful time here! The manager was very helpful and patient in assisting customers with any issues. It would have been ideal if the hotel had offered a ride-hailing service, as the hotel doesn't provide one."

The manager, Stanley, was very professional and ready to help when we needed it.
The sea view is the best I've had in Hainan. I came to this hotel again mainly for the view. You can even hear the waves from the room and see the stars at night.
Many people complain about the breakfast in the comment section, but it's not bad at all. There's different kinds of fruit, bread, coffee, eggs and write a few other dishes. It's definitely not five star, but my girlfriend and I (she's Chinese and I'm Canadian) enjoyed a long breakfast every morning.
There's barely ever anybody on the beach and it's okay to go for dip in the sea, but you're technically not supposed to swim in it.
There's a an area about 700 meters from the hotel where you can find different restaurants.
The pool is very nice but isn't heated.
You can easily get around just walking, renting the electric bikes and calling a taxi to get to some hiking spots. We didn't find it necessary to rent a car despite being remote.
The bad:
You are technically not supposed to swim in the sea.
The pool is too cold to comfortably swim in when the weather is not hot.
The cleaning service does just an okay job on cleaning the room.
There's no really good restaurants around that we could find. Although I find this to be a problem in most areas of Hainan. There is no real variation of food.
There's no breathing in the rooms.
Bring snacks because it's hard to find food in the afternoon unless you order from the town, but then you have to wait for it to arrive and the options are limited.
There is a gym but with limited equipment.

"For a hotel in Clear Water Bay, this one offers great value for money. The front desk upgraded my room from an Elegant Twin to a Garden View Twin, on the second floor. The balcony overlooks the pool, so the view was excellent. The interior decor doesn't quite feel like a star-rated hotel; it's more like a guesthouse, a bit dated, but still clean. The garden behind the hotel is very beautiful. To get to the beach, you have to walk through the entire garden. You need to swipe your card to exit the building into the garden, and again to go from the garden to the beach, which feels quite secure. The pool closer to the beach offers paddleboarding for 30 for half an hour or 50 for an hour, which is pretty good value. The beach has many rocks and lots of crabs, and I even caught a sea snake tail; it's also great for collecting seashells. The breakfast had a good variety, but the taste was quite mediocre."

"Bringing a child, Xiao Liang at the front desk helped upgrade the room. The service was very good. The hotel room was large, the bathroom was spacious, and the balcony was convenient for hanging clothes, but it was still not dry without dehydration overnight. It is recommended to equip it with a self-service laundry room.
The hotel is a little far from the beach on foot, so it is not suitable for multiple round trips every day. There are many water activities on the beach. It is not as quiet as imagined, especially for wedding photos. The scenery is left with petals all over the ground, which is quite annoying. After the tide receded at night, I went to the beach to catch crabs the size of fingertips, and nothing else.
The next day, I made an appointment to learn surfing through the promotional board at the pool bar. It seemed to be an external cooperation of the hotel. It was 300 per person for 1 to 2. The price was moderate, and the coach was also more serious. Unfortunately, the waves in Qingshui Bay were not big. I had to wait for a long time to catch a wave. I didn’t practice much, and it would be better in the summer.
There were not many breakfast options in the hotel. I could eat enough, but there was no surprise. You can also order lunch, but you can’t deliver it to the room. The restaurant is open and air-conditioned, which is not good. It was quite hot at noon. You can take away your own food at the restaurant, and the takeaway box is charged separately, which is not like the five-star standard.
There are not many takeaway options here, and you have to drive out to eat. It is enough to stay for 2 days. There was active cleaning and towel replenishment in the middle, and I was satisfied with the cleaning work."

From the moment you enter the hotel area, you will feel that it is a relatively independent and private environment. The overall decoration is very stylish. I heard from the housekeeper that this is the owner's own house, so the decoration design and materials are very carefully selected. It is very different from other B&Bs that are rented out.
The housekeeper contacted us by phone shortly after we placed the order. We booked the cheapest price and upgraded it when we checked in. Any questions during the stay were responded to in a timely manner. The overall service experience was great~
Before coming here, I was worried about whether it would be inconvenient to eat, but when I arrived, I found that my worries were completely unnecessary. The hotel provided a Hainan-style rice noodle breakfast, which was simple but fully met the needs. There was also Hainan-style afternoon tea. If you want to dine in the hotel, you can also make a reservation in advance with the butler. In general, during the stay, you can fully meet various needs without leaving the hotel, and the experience is not inferior to that of a high-star hotel!
When I checked in, I saw models taking photos. The housekeeper told me that they also had some water sports experiences. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time this time, so I’ll just leave it for next time. I’ll definitely come again if I have the chance!

__WeChat236287****We came to the Raffles Hotel because of the movie ”Lost in the Stars.” First off, the airport transfer was with Alpha, which really set a high-end tone. Big shoutout to our butler! Our little one needed a nap, so the butler specifically arranged for a late check-out for us. Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, making it perfect for traveling with a small child. The overall decor has a Southeast Asian style. Breakfast was plentiful, and even though there were a lot of people dining during the New Year's Day holiday, the hotel's service was still top-notch. When my child fell in the breakfast area as we entered, the hotel manager even gave them a little monkey backpack 🎒. Overall, it was a great experience!

__CFT010000000543****The hotel's facilities are decent, but the outdoor water play area needs renovation. The kids' activities are abundant and offer a lot of choices. However, the kids' club was a huge disappointment. We didn't feel any warmth from the staff; instead, they seemed to dislike children. Which kid doesn't run around and make noise in a play area, I ask? When my daughter got scratched, they didn't offer immediate assistance, only asking if we needed a band-aid. After I took her back to the room and tended to her, I returned to the area to play claw machines to cheer her up, but not a single staff member asked about what happened. It was only three hours later that the duty manager called to inquire.
The hotel's dining is a real weak point. The breakfast buffet was tolerable, as most buffets are pretty similar, but the dinner buffet was truly underwhelming. Paying 300 per person for fried skewers and a mini hotpot made me laugh. Not to mention the hotpot ingredients were scarce. If you're like me, traveling with a child, who would dare leave a hotpot on the table to go get more food? Moreover, in the Chinese restaurant, we ordered king crab and coral trout, and a lot was left over. My child's favorite dish ended up being duck tongues… However, I must say the service in the Chinese restaurant was excellent, perhaps because we were in a private room. The waitress was incredibly kind and even helped braid my daughter's hair.
Overall, if you want to bring your kids to burn off some energy, you can try it, but don't set your expectations too high. Relying solely on a 'Bixin Rabbit' (a character or amenity) to sustain the hotel is simply too far-fetched.

There's a reading area on the first floor, a kids' zone in the basement, and even dedicated staff to help children with crafts. A staff member stayed by my child's side the entire time they were doing archery, which was very responsible. The hotel's service is also quite good; they'll do their best to accommodate any request. A special shout-out to the young lady who provided professional service with a sweet, delightful smile. She made our trip even more pleasant 😁. Who says Lingshui isn't fun? I personally think it's better than Sanya, with more genuine hospitality. Thumbs up! 👍

MM33013****This was my first time staying at a Westin in Hainan, and the front desk service was exceptional – very attentive and meticulous. The room was clean, and the breakfast spread was extensive. I had a 180-degree ocean view right from my room. Personally, I think Clear Water Bay has the cleanest beach with the finest sand. I was pleasantly surprised to find local Lingshui specialties like Lingshui sour noodles and Qingbuliang (a refreshing dessert). The hotel's swimming pool is beautiful, and you can even try paddleboarding there, which makes for great photos. The infinity pool, in particular, is stunning for pictures, and the grotto pool inside is also a fantastic photo op! The most enjoyable part was going crabbing on the beach with the staff – it was so much fun! The pool also has slides and a wave pool that offers a great experience. The hotel is about 3 km from Danjia Fishing Village, Monkey Island, and Xincun Market, making it convenient to get around by taxi or car. The hotel staff provided genuine service, without any forced smiles. Upon check-out, the staff even gave me freshly baked cookies. The entire service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. I will definitely choose Westin again next time; it's truly worth recommending. A special thanks to Aurora, who made my trip so warm and memorable. WWalunshitateruanjiI've chosen to stay at the Capella Tufu Bay Resort multiple times now, and it's perfect whether I'm staying alone or hosting friends. The hotel's design is unique and innovative, crafted by two world-class designers. The 'Star-Gazing Pond' at the entrance, with its heaven-and-earth design, makes for stunning photos effortlessly. Every morning at 8:30 AM, a dedicated master performs Tai Chi in the middle of the water, setting the tone for a pleasant and beautiful day. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding is especially fantastic – once you're in bed, you won't want to get out. The hotel's garden scenery is also breathtaking; every step offers a new view, and you can easily snap photos worthy of a screensaver.
I truly love Capella hotels. The breakfast is rich and varied, and with an extended opening time from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, I often don't even feel like having lunch afterward. The hotel also features 'Lan Ting,' a Cantonese Chinese restaurant with great food, and some Hainanese dishes like Wenchang Chicken are definitely worth trying. The Thai restaurant by the pool offers excellent value for money, and there are a few dishes I order every time.
The hotel service is wonderful. A 'Travel & Culture Officer' contacts you in advance to discuss your check-in needs and makes sure everything is arranged beforehand. They prepared children's amenities for my baby in advance, sent timely WeChat reminders about hotel activities, and provided different fruits and desserts in the room daily. The front desk staff are warm and professional during check-in. The buggy service is also very prompt. I will definitely keep choosing Capella.

AAleksandr IIIn June there are very few people here, for those who love silence and comfort, this is an ideal place, the beach is next to the hotel, the reception staff is great, they helped with all the questions that arose, they helped me order sneakers from poizon, when checking in, I upgraded my room for an additional fee and I was offered to look at several different rooms on different floors and in different designs. We stayed in room 1711, although the room on the 8th floor was better, but we liked the view from the balcony. It is worth noting that there are fruits within walking distance, but you will need to ride a three-wheeled motorcycle to get to the store, cafes and street food, about 10-30 yuan, if there are two of you (and a small child, you can rent a small motorcycle, you can easily get to the monkey island on it. P.s. there are often no people on the beach, you can take cool photos. If you are traveling around the island, then you can stay here for a few days, we lived 3 nights. In the park, which is illuminated across the road, almost nothing works now.

I live on the 6th floor, the top floor, and there is a huge cockroach in the corner of the balcony, haha. The swimming pool downstairs is quite big. On Saturdays, there is a bubble fight. The water on the beach downstairs is made of real glass, and there are warnings everywhere that it is strictly prohibited to go into the sea, but you can go into the sea. It's okay, and there is also a meal. A complimentary dinner is a bad review. The parent-child room must be for more than three people, and the staple food is not enough. The breakfast buffet is quite satisfactory. There is a small town one kilometer away from the hotel, which is quite convenient for eating.
