"Our initial triple room was incredibly cramped, but the double room we moved to later had a normal, comfortable amount of space. The hotel's location is absolutely superb; it makes getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel occupies floors nine and above, with a shopping mall and restaurants on the floors below (up to the eighth floor). Getting here is very straightforward: take the airport bus to Osaka Station, and it's just around the corner in the direction the bus was heading. The transportation links are truly excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and varied."

"Loved the location, near to Ebisucho metro station. Walking distances to Shinsekai Tower. Loved the supermarket nearby. The hotel staff are all very helpful. Ryu at the front desk helped me with the luggage delivery. The room was cleaned every day. Thank you to the house keeping teams, they worked hard in cleaning the room thoroughly. The free ramen was really good, I missed it already. The staff in the restaurant did very good job in keeping the restaurant cleaned and very patient with the guests although some guests didn’t cleaned their own dishes. Well done to them. We love the hotel and will come back"

"The room was a bit on the small side, but as it was just a temporary overnight stay before my departure, it wasn't a major issue. The mini-fridge and kettle were located immediately to the left of the entrance. The tap water quality was good, and it had no strange taste. Sotetsu chain hotels typically use self-service kiosks for check-in and check-out, and the availability of a Chinese language option is a definite plus. However, please note that check-in is only available after 3 PM. If you arrive early, you can ask the staff to store your luggage, allowing you to explore before returning to pick up your room key. The lobby here is quite spacious, so you don't have to worry about disturbing others while organizing your luggage. Lastly, the bathroom in my room had a peculiar odor. Thankfully, it was mostly unnoticeable once the door was closed, but it clearly indicates the bathroom is due for a renovation."

"Pros: Excellent location. Walk to many tourist place and convinient.
Cons / Experience: Before arriving in Osaka, I emailed Holiday Inn to inform them that due to personal reasons can see ghost, I could not stay in rooms located directly next to the lift or at the very end of the corridor. However, on the first day, the hotel still assigned me a room right next to the lift. Although the room appeared clean, it was very dusty, had bugs, and the room remained shining throughout the night, which made it difficult for me to sleep. The insects bug on bed also caused skin irritation.
Fortunately, the young male receptionist was very polite and attentive, and he helped me change to another room. Unfortunately, the new room still had bugs on the bed and was also dusty.
This hotel may be more suitable for men who enjoy nightlife, as there are pubs nearby, some with women dressed in revealing outfits to attract customers. On the other hand, the older male receptionist seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming, often showing a “black face.”"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location! It's the first hotel right outside the subway station, incredibly close and convenient to Universal Studios. There's a 24-hour Lawson convenience store downstairs, and direct shuttle buses to the airport are available. The front desk also provides amenities for children, such as slippers, toothbrushes, and pajamas. Compared to hotels in Umeda, it offers much better value for money; for the same price, this hotel feels significantly more spacious and cleaner. I would definitely stay here again!
However, the service was quite subpar, almost non-existent. Both luggage storage and check-out are self-service. Housekeeping started ringing our doorbell to clean at 9 AM, then again at 10 AM, which felt very rushed and intrusive. Additionally, during check-in, absolutely no information was provided; it was just a quick, impersonal process."

"We booked a triple room for two adults and a child, but it only came with a double bed. Luckily, our little one was small enough to share. The room was incredibly spacious, and from the window, we had a view of the Hankyu department store across the street and the iconic red Ferris wheel. Check-in on the 19th floor was quick. On the room floors, next to the elevators, there were ice and beverage vending machines. Downstairs, there are 7-Eleven stores on both the ground floor (1F) and the basement level (B1). The one on the ground floor also sold a variety of souvenirs at reasonable prices, and they offered tax refunds.
The location is truly excellent. We were a bit disoriented on our first day, but we quickly realized that no matter how you arrive, as long as you head towards JR Osaka Station, you can't go wrong. To reach other shopping malls, simply head to the second floor for direct connections.
On our last day, we took the airport limousine bus to the airport. Following tips from Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), we arrived very quickly."

Cleanliness: As is typical for Japanese hotels, it was absolutely spotless and impeccable.
Service: The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming.
Cons: The lighting in the room was a bit too dim. Furthermore, I was assigned a room with a completely obstructed view by another building – there was absolutely no scenery from the window, just the building directly across. Another minor inconvenience was that the front desk is located on the 22nd floor, which meant I had to transfer elevators every time I entered or exited the hotel."

"This hotel is fantastic! It's incredibly convenient, located just 10 meters from Yotsubashi Subway Station, right outside Exit 2. Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori are only 1.2 km away, so you can easily walk there to explore the area by night. Plus, there's a supermarket right next door, which is very affordable and handy for grabbing essentials.
The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. While the rooms aren't huge, they are very well-equipped and even include a fridge, which is incredibly handy. On the second floor, there's a free hot and cold water dispenser, saving you from buying bottled water. They also have a microwave and an ice machine available for guests, which is super convenient for heating up meals or getting ice anytime.
They also offer luggage storage, which is a thoughtful touch.

The location is absolutely phenomenal! A shopper's paradise! Major malls and flagship stores are right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get all your favorite items in one go!
The rooms are incredibly spacious! In Japan, where space is a premium, the InterContinental's rooms feel like a true luxury. We booked a king room and even added an extra bed, and it still didn't feel cramped at all! The bathroom was also large and bright, and being able to lie down and gaze at Osaka's vibrant cityscape made it absolutely worth it!
The service was exceptionally thoughtful! From check-in to check-out, every single staff member was polite, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. The front desk, housekeeping, concierge... even the parking and luggage storage services were absolutely faultless!
When checking out, they even proactively offered to weigh my luggage. The most delightful surprise was when a staff member wished me ”Gong Xi Fa Cai” in Chinese – it felt so incredibly welcoming!
It truly proved to be a brilliant choice to stay at InterContinental Osaka! Next time I'm in Osaka, I'm definitely booking this place again!

HHok Ming KarlFrom the photos provided by the hotel, I thought the room would be small, but after checking in, I found that it was big enough to open four suitcases at the same time, and the bathroom was also spacious with a large bathtub. The lobby has a nice smell, which makes people feel relaxed. The staff is also very friendly and polite. The hotel is very friendly to self-driving tours. There is already a parking lot next to it, and the price of overnight parking is very cost-effective.

JJaazhuThe location is excellent and very convenient. There are numerous public transport lines within a few minutes' walk. After landing in Osaka, you can take a direct bus that drops you off near the hotel, and it's just a short walk from there – I found this much more convenient than taking the JR line. The bus to the airport also departs from the same spot.
Additionally, the hotel has smoking rooms on several floors, which was very helpful for guests.
Just a few steps downstairs from the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven and a FamilyMart convenience store. In the evenings, we could pick up some onigiri and sandwiches, keep them in the hotel fridge, and then easily heat them up in the hotel lobby microwave for breakfast the next morning.
Overall, everything was great, with just one minor point: given that about 80-90% of the guests in the entire hotel are Chinese, couldn't the front desk staff include at least two Chinese-speaking employees?

The location is perfect — just a 3-minute walk to the park, with a Starbucks and Lawson right outside and plenty of dining options nearby. Although it was crowded due to summer holidays, the hotel had everything we needed and is ideal for families with young children. The room was very clean, with no unpleasant odors or smoke smell. There are also washing machines, dryers, water dispensers, and an ice machine available. Staying at a hotel so close to the park made our trip truly enjoyable!

However, I think the hotel and room is lacking in some details and can be improved in many areas - e.g. the lobby is very small & only has 3 chairs for guests to sit, consider expanding it to have more seating area for the elderly.
The beds are not very comfy, my mum had a backache after sleeping on them.. and there is only 1 pillow.
Also, the clothes hanging rods doesn't make sense, consider making them side by side instead of one on top of another. There can also be more hanging racks/rods on the walls or inside the bathroom since it's so big.
Please consider providing a luggage rack for guests who can't bend down to the floor easily.

CCassandra’sGreat vibes. Room is small but complete :) shower 🚿 water pressure is excellent. Most jap hotels only clean 3 days once. And this too but they give fresh new towels every day hang on the door.
I would say quite convenient to the nearest station - sakaisuji Hommachi. But need to change to another line for main places like Osaka / dotonbori.
Overall would come back!

The room was spotlessly clean, and Sexually transmitted infection: and well-equipped with modern facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. The staff were courteous and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. My only complaint is that the milk vending machine was frequently out of stock, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant and reliable experience, making it a great choice for travelers. I would definitely consider returning for future stays.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very clean. Drinks in the mini-fridge were complimentary, and they also provided four free bottles of water. It's a great option for families with children.
A crucial heads-up: this hotel has a strict maximum occupancy policy. For instance, a triple room can only accommodate three people. It seems children over 8 years old are charged an extra bed fee. It's advisable to call and confirm the details beforehand. My friend's 12-year-old child was either charged extra or had to book an additional room.

The disadvantage is that there is no ornate lobby also like understaff, walking to the ground
Iron-Nippon Bridge is a little far! Very quiet near the hotel at night! Not recommended for single ladies! Close to Black Gate Market! There are other options for this price!
