"This guesthouse is right by the Aiyi Terraces, and the view of the terraces from our room's balcony was absolutely stunning. The room itself was spacious and very clean. The owner was super helpful, even carrying our luggage for us and recommending some less-known terraced fields which were breathtaking. The owner's mother cooks delicious and affordable meals, and she even made us rice noodles for breakfast, which were so good. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Yuanyang Terraces."

It's not far from the Hadaipu observation deck and Azheke village, both within walking distance. If you don't feel like walking, there's a village shuttle bus for 10 yuan per person round trip. The guesthouse also offers ethnic costumes for photo ops, which is a nice touch."

The guesthouse manager was extremely considerate. The guesthouse is conveniently located right next to the Duoyishu Rice Terraces, so every morning when we woke up, the terraces were a direct view, saving us the trouble of getting up early to go to the viewing platform. "We traveled from Puzhehei to Yuanyang. By the time we reached the mountaintop hotel, the fog was getting thicker, so we didn't get to see the full panoramic view of the hotel. There's a gravel path in front of the hotel where you can park. **Service:** The hotel staff proactively helped us with our luggage, and the front desk was very welcoming. After checking in, they even gave us recommendations for visiting the various rice terraces, including the best viewing times and special features. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and they even had seating with terrace views, which was a nice touch. However, dinner was much less impressive; not only was it expensive, but the taste was also just mediocre. **Facilities:** The room was very spacious and high-quality, with complete amenities and good cleanliness. The bed was soft and comfortable. Our room had a balcony, but it didn't have a view. We also received welcome fruit and bedtime milk, which was a thoughtful gesture. **Environment:** The hotel is a moderate distance from the various rice terrace attractions, making it convenient to drive to. The roads can be a bit narrow, and it's easy to get stuck in traffic near the attractions, so be sure to plan your timing carefully. The room price is reasonable, offering good value for money. Then, and most importantly, we were welcomed by the entire family with boundless kindness. The meals were delicious. They took us to explore the region and provided all the necessary assistance to plan the rest of our trip. It was a truly magical interlude, and we left with a heavy heart. Some might say the only minor drawback is the 160 steps you need to climb [chuckles], but for me, it was an amazing experience. "The guesthouse was just a few minutes' walk from the free viewing platform. The owner was very welcoming, even though he had a cold. We had four suitcases, and it was difficult to go up and down the stairs, so the owner and his family helped us carry them. "We were extremely satisfied with our stay. Since our family is quite laid-back, our original plan was to just relax and watch the sunrise. However, when we arrived at the parking lot in the afternoon, the owner, Xiao Luo, drove us out to unofficial locations, where we saw beautiful rice terraces with perfect colors, and even visited a private sunset viewing spot. Dinner at the owner's restaurant was fantastic! I highly recommend the lemongrass ribs!!! (Please remember to send me the recipe!) The sunrise was visible from our room, and we went to the rooftop where the view of the clouds and mist was amazing! The service throughout was incredibly attentive and heartwarming; they even took many beautiful family photos for us! The guesthouse is located on the very first row of rice terraces—a great location!"

"I had a wonderful stay. The position of the hotel is great, it's very close to one of the main scenic areas to admire the Yuanyang rice terraces. The position is particularly convenient because it gives the opportunity to reach the viewing point at dawn to see the sunrise (10 minutes walking). In the nearby of the hotel there are some restaurants and also coffee shops. The owner of the hotel is really an amazing host. For only 70 RMB he drove me in other scenic areas both in the morning and in the afternoon and waited for me as long as I needed to (we went to Bada rice terraces, which is famous for the sunset, and he waited for me for more than two hours). He offered me food, tea and helped me to arrange my way back to the bus station in Nansha (南沙). The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and it was possible to warm it using an electric blanket. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit the Yuanyang rice terraces (which, by the way, are absolutely stunning)."
