"I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Central International Hotel in Dujiangyan, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in China. First, the location and views are simply mesmerizing. My room overlooked the river and the surrounding mountains, and waking up to that scenery every morning felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese painting. The flowing river below and the misty peaks in the distance created a peaceful, almost meditative atmosphere. "Totally regretting for booking only 1 night in this fabulous accommodation. Quiet neighborhood except the guests next to my room decided to talk about their life stories in the outdoor balcony until wee hours which is really inconsiderate. The receptionists and staffs are really friendly and helpful during my stay making this extremely memorable. One time disposable towels and slippers are my favorite amenities in this accommodation!"

"The most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in! It was surprisingly quiet for being in the old town. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the decor felt very new. On the first floor, you can enjoy tea and relax, or have coffee and chat. The owner also has two adorable dogs. Unfortunately, I was short on time, otherwise, I would have loved to stay a couple more days to really soak in the slow pace of the old town and the rich history of Dujiangyan city. I accidentally left something behind when I checked out, and the owner promptly helped me mail it back. Many thanks! 🙏"

"After hiking Mount Emei in the rain, we came to Dujiangyan and stayed at this hotel right by Lidui Park. The environment and room hygiene were impeccable, and the location was super convenient – just a short walk from the intercity train station. It's also really close to the Dujiangyan scenic area. What really stood out were the little details: Vivi and Lily at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room had plenty of hangers, which was great for washing and drying our raincoats and wet clothes. The air conditioning was both quiet and powerful, allowing us to sleep comfortably under the covers all night, even in summer."

As an established five-star hotel, it's well-managed with excellent service. What impressed me most was the hotel's stunning environment – beautiful views everywhere you look! The room was spacious, and opening the window immediately offered a picturesque scene, which was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was also rich and varied, even including authentic local snacks. My only regret is that my schedule was too tight this time, so I didn't get to experience the hotel's hot spring. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance! 🤩"

"Facilities: Simple gym equipment, laundry room, and iron are available. Though compact, it has everything you need. Cleanliness: Clean, and the bedding is new and comfortable. Environment: You can see the 'blue tears' phenomenon right outside the window. There are plenty of food options right at the doorstep. Getting around by taxi or on foot is convenient. For Dujiangyan, you can take a taxi to Gate 6 at Qin Yankou and walk back. Gate 1 exits right where the hotel's taxi stand is. Panda Valley is very close, about a 10-minute taxi ride. Service: Friendly and helpful, they even provided travel tips."

"The hotel environment is excellent, very quiet, and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. They offer activities like scripture copying, mandala drawing, Baduanjin exercises, and meditation, so you won't get bored even if you stay in. The cleaning was meticulous, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The concierge team was very professional, responsive, and incredibly warm and thoughtful. While the breakfast didn't have a huge variety, it was perfectly sufficient. The only minor drawback was that the restaurant's dishes could use some improvement in taste. However, the Shangpin Restaurant directly across from the hotel had great ambiance and delicious food, which more than made up for it. I'll definitely be back."

GGuest UserI liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad. I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either). As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office. A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain). On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan. Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.
