"The staff are courteous and helpful. As soon as I arrived, I noticed the mattress was sagging and uncomfortable, and they immediately offered to replace it with a new one. The location is excellent if you want to be close to shops, services, and the walking street. The hotel is a bit dated but has a beautiful sea view, though the beach isn't directly accessible from the hotel. The tide goes out, making it perfect for a lovely sunset stroll in the evening.
The sheets were clean, but the pillows less so; they had a very strong smell, and I had to put a towel over them to cover it.
We didn't use the pool because we rented a scooter and explored the island, which has beautiful, secluded beaches. However, we did notice that the pool area was very crowded (the sun loungers), but it was clean.
We understand that the price was in line with the quality of the property.
The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Overall, it's a great hotel if you want to save some money and be close to amenities."

"What an incredible place! We’re staying at the Twin Lotus Resort & Spa (adults-only during this season) on Koh Lanta, and we couldn’t be happier. The location is fantastic: it’s right on Klong Dao Beach, a super long stretch of beautiful white sand. Even at low tide, it’s all soft sand—no rocks or coral to worry about. In the mornings, it’s pure bliss to walk for miles along the shoreline with the calm sea and peaceful atmosphere. Absolutely lovely.
The resort itself is spectacular. Surrounded by tall palm trees and lush tropical gardens, it feels like a real oasis of calm. No kids around (strictly adults only), so you can truly breathe in the peace and tranquility—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting.
The infinity pool is stunning, positioned right in front of the beach with comfy sun loungers and high-quality towels. You can spend the whole day switching between the pool, the sea, and a shady spot under the palms… heaven!
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive—always smiling, super helpful, and the service is top-notch. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety and everything tastes delicious. In general, the food at the resort restaurants is really good, both in quality and presentation.
Honestly, it’s rated as 4 stars, but in terms of experience, it outshines many 5-star places we’ve stayed at before. I have no idea why it doesn’t have 5 stars officially—it’s spotless, beautifully maintained, and the overall vibe is just perfect.

"Mornings in the mountains were magical: sunshine, sudden downpours, misty clouds, the calls of monkeys, the singing of birds... Suddenly, I found myself thinking that trekking up and down the slopes two or three times a day wasn't so bad after all! [grinning emoji]
As my departure approaches, I'd like to share my review of this hotel. Overall, our stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious, and the balcony was enormous – even bigger than the room itself! (If you're not worried about the local monkeys making off with your belongings, you can really spread out there! [laughing-crying emoji]) The air conditioning was excellent, the water pressure was strong, and surprisingly, the water wasn't salty at all. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. Once you head down the hill, within a five-minute walk, you'll find everything you need: the beach, a 7-Eleven, a laundry shop, travel agencies, and the famous Lanta Pizza. The hotel also has its own scooter rentals available, and you can usually bargain the price down to match what you'd find at shops outside.
If you inquire when booking, there are a few room types located lower down the hill. However, the two-bedroom villas and rooms near the infinity pool are all situated on the ridge. For young couples who appreciate peace and quiet, I highly recommend these options. But for multi-generational families with elderly members and young children, like ours, I'd advise choosing carefully.
A special thank you to NI at the front desk for her absolutely outstanding service! And also to the lovely young lady (whose name I didn't catch, but she was so sweet and wonderful) who served us at the hilltop poolside restaurant. Thank you all for giving us a perfect holiday!"

"Sri Lanta is a haven to escape the crowds, while having enough services around to keep you occupied in this corner of the beach. The rooms are classy and clean, save for a dirty kettle, with daily room service.
There's direct access to the beach via a convenient tunnel, which opens up to their pool, restaurant, bar and beach chairs. The bar owner is very friendly and his prices are reasonable to keep you happy for your stay.

"The room was much better for the price than we had presented. As much clean and for a few days completely enough. You are close to the pier and thus come quickly from the ferry to accommodation and vice versa. Just to see the rest of the island, you need to run something or take a TukTuk.
I'd like to return to the price."

"Front desk not very welcoming when check in. Did the job checking in and explaining the deposit, room, breakfast restaurant, beach location.
Issued us the room key and informed us the room direction, then we realised the check in is completed and we can be on the way to the room (1st time without hotel staff of this type/size of resort bringing us, not a big deal).
Strangely one staff did ”pop up” after we left the reception building, offer to bring us to the room. We rejected since we figured we can manage.
One good point is we get to check in earlier than the designated time.
Room has unpleasant smell when first enter, but got use to it after a day (after house keeping next day).
Room size is big, has a bath tub (did not use), a bed room and living room. No TV in bed room, TV in living room but limited TV program.
Have two huge pool, one among the blocks, one nearer to the beach.
Initial impression was not great, but after a few days, got used and get to enjoy the stay.
Good location (good local restaurants, convenient store, laundry shop nearby), great pool, breakfast consider ok but could be better.
Stayed during the end of the popular season, resort not crowded.
Will I stay again?
Yes, for the pool and during low season, less tourists.

"Great value for money hotel. We didn't opt for breakfast. It's about a 1 km walk to 7/11 and the beach is also around 1 km away. But we had a scooter, so we explored a new beach every day. We stayed opposite the water park, on the second floor of a bungalow. The room was large, with a terrace. Housekeeping is done on request. You can rent a scooter at the hotel for 250 baht, which is cheaper than on the street. What I loved about the island is that you can easily cruise around on a scooter without traffic. There are many beaches and places to visit."

"Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. This is a very special place, lovely staff, complete relaxation. Try the kayaking, swimming, and try to local restaurant outside next to minimart. "The hotel is located a little away from the main road that runs along the coast, so you can't hear any noise. It’s probably not very convenient to get to it on foot in the dark, there’s really no lighting, cell phone towers stick out nearby in the dark, we were by car, so it’s not critical). I liked the hotel itself, the stay was comfortable, the room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, upon check-in we were treated to a welcome drink, which was very useful in the hot weather."

"I can genuinely recommend this hotel. We enjoyed everything. Yes, the grounds are huge and not entirely manicured yet – it seems they're still working on it. The bungalow isn't new, but it's very charming and comfortable. Our room was cleaned well, and the beach is pristine with stunning sunsets. There aren't many sun loungers, though.
We didn't include breakfast in our stay, but I took a look and tried some – it's very simple and unpretentious, but not bad either.
The service was good, and all the staff were polite. I rented a scooter from the hotel, and they provided a brand new Yamaha Fazzio.
Koh Lanta is definitely worth seeing, and this hotel will allow you to do so in comfort!"

JJanUpon arrival at Lanta Triple Novel, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel at home, assisting us with everything we needed.
We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes. The porch was furnished with plastic chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The bungalow featured a small kitchenette accessible from the porch through a side door, which is convenient if you're planning a longer stay.
Inside, there was a small plastic wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-fridge. The only thing missing was a table and two chairs inside the room, which would have added to the comfort. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud.
We rented a scooter from the owner at a decent price, making it easy to explore the island. Although there's a restaurant as part of the hotel, we didn't have the time to dine there. Originally, we planned to stay for three days but ended up extending our stay to four because we enjoyed it so much.
The location is perfect—it's close to the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven just around the corner where you can get everything you need for your stay. It's a 4-minute drive to Saladan Pier, so you'll have an easy time catching ferries or speedboats for further travel.
Overall, our experience at Lanta Triple Novel was excellent. The friendly owner, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay memorable.

PPPKVWe stayed at rawi warin for 4 nights in one of the hillside rooms. The room was spacious with a small balcony. The bed in particular felt huge as it was 2 beds pushed together. As other reviews mention, the hillside rooms are about a 10 mins walk away from the main pool. Walking is quite pleasant though as you are surrounded by greenery. And there's a closer hillside pool that has a great view. The facilities were great esp. the main pool which was huge, chlorine free, and very empty past 6pm - we were often the only ones using it in the evening. Also enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables. My only piece of feedback is that the resort could be better lit at night - it was too dark walking down paths/stairs. Loved seeing lizards and monkeys around the resort. Didn't try the hotel food much - there are some good restaurants a short walk away. The stretch of beach attached to the resort was beautiful and good for swimming.

MMathanjaAmazing location room was big clean and everything was included bathroom towels. The people are very friendly and the are not expensive. We did a thai massage 1 hour for 2 persons 900bht. We booked only the breakfast this was very good buffet for every one on different countries. HHanneMI had an amazing stay at the brand-new Phumala Lanta Seaview Resort! The bungalows are unique, built on stilts amidst lush greenery, with a magical view over the treetops and the coast. Staying here feels like being in a small fairytale, with comfortable beds, modern air conditioning, and a lovely terrace featuring both a bathtub and sun loungers. Between the bungalows, charming lighting in the trees creates a special and cozy atmosphere in the evenings. If any challenges arise, the staff and owner are incredibly attentive and resolve everything quickly and efficiently. The service is truly top-notch! The resort is just a 5-7 minute walk from a beautiful and peaceful beach, and shops and restaurants are also nearby. Across the road, Pad Thai Rock n Roll serves absolutely amazing food, and their staff is incredibly friendly – a must-visit during your stay. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from four to nine nights. Note that the hotel shares its reception with Bakantiang Resort, so make sure to mention this to your taxi driver to find the correct location. Highly recommended!

NNuchjaree InsukIt's a pretty good sunset view on the beach with a cocktail restaurant either. Clean and fresh room good material. I can jump from the bed to the pool 😁 I love it. If you are looking for a great hotel in a good location this is your answer. Oh it's good for kids as well.

Location is great.North is noisy and a little bit crowd, south is not convenient. Moonlight is in middle of lanta and just near the sea.It has its own beach and there is a wood cabin you can lay down to get massage.
Food is good.My package includes breakfast.There are fresh fruits, bacon,yogurt .I stayed 2 days in moonlight ,the 2 days' breakfast is same but delicious .
Room is clean and towards to ocean.I booked ocean view room and the view is stunned.
Service is 11 out of 10! Staff is very polite and enthusiastic.You can fell everyone is so happy then you'll become happy too.Trust me, moonlight is perfect place to chose.

GGuest UserThe best hotel of Koh lanta, the service is perfect and so so so helpfull, it’s so cheap and you have a very good breakfast. The hotel is good located, the cats are so cute, the bedroom is beautiful and confortable (you even have a balcony). THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING !

LLisaM23We stayed here in what was the peak season…many resorts and hotels were sold out in Ko Lanta. The staff are all friendly and genuinely will help and be kind if you are respectful and kind too.
The location is perfect. Right in front of the beach and close to cafes, restaurants and local eateries as well as 7/11.
The hotel itself has so much potential but it is looking very tired and run down. We stayed in a room that should have had a pool view but all we saw was trees. The room did smell a bit musty at first but this soon disappeared with the smell of sunscreen, and personal fragrances. Previous reviews people wrote about the old, musty towels. This is true. They smell musty, old and are tired looking (bring your own if you can).
The beach loungers in front of the pool were perfect each day but it’s a real hit and miss game of who can “bags” a lounger first. Many tourist staying at the hotel would place their towels on the loungers first thing in the morning and wouldn’t even be seen on the loungers until after lunch. In my opinion, the hotel staff need to change this and man it in a different way during peak season. Too many entitled people thinking they own the sun loungers because their shoes were placed next to them 🙄🙄
Overall, if you’re looking for somewhere to rest your head at night, with hot showers, friendly staff, okay breakfast options and mostly clean premises this resort is good. If your more of a person who prefers to spend time inside their resort and looks forward to all the extra amenities then I suggest you try somewhere else 😬

Everything perfect. Totally peaceful to wake up in front of the sea, to have a private beach just in front of your room, a swimming pool that face on the sea. Absolutely the best place.
Everything clean, hot water in the room, air conditioner, etc etc.
Above all, the staff. Kind, professional, super available to find the right solution for your need
