"The hotel is located on the edge of the city center. We booked a triple room, which was essentially a double room with an extra bed, making it a bit cramped. However, the service here was excellent. After tidying the room, they'd leave a thoughtful note, and every staff member would greet us warmly, which really brightened our mood. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. We didn't try lunch, but the late-night snacks like wontons and rice noodles were just right. The lobby always had complimentary snacks and fruit, and bottled water was available anytime, anywhere. All in all, it was a good experience, and I'd come back if I have the chance."

"I initially saw reviews praising the excellent service, and I thought, 'How good can it really be?' Wow, was I surprised! Every staff member at the hotel greeted us warmly whenever they saw us. The glutinous rice pu-erh tea in the lobby is absolutely delicious; I even bought some to take home because I got hooked on it! I didn't arrange for airport pickup in advance – they mentioned it should be done a day prior, which was my oversight – but they still upgraded my room. My luggage was incredibly heavy, and those young ladies insisted on helping me carry it; I honestly felt bad letting them! The hotel amenities were also spotless, even the linen room was neat and tidy. And let's talk about the brunch, folks, you just have to try it! I almost ate myself to death! Next time I'm in Pu'er, I will definitely stay here again; it was completely a hit, no misses!"

"I dug into a treasure hotel, and I wanted to continue my unlimited stay after I stayed. The most poking me was that the room had a small independent yard. The green plants surrounded it with a super atmosphere. I sunbathe in the yard in the morning, drink a cup of tea, blow the evening breeze in the evening, and stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cozy feeling is directly full! There is nothing to say about hygiene. The room is spotless, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, there is no smell, the corners and desktops are clean, and even the details of the bathroom are handled in place, and the living is particularly at ease.
Service is a plus! From the staff took the initiative to help with luggage and patiently introduced the facilities at the time of check-in, to the super-time response to the demand during the stay, the attitude was gentle and caring, and the whole process was not perfunctory, and it was as thoughtful as family. Whether it is a holiday relaxation or a quiet place to relax, this one is super recommended! The location is a bit out of the way; there aren't many restaurants nearby, and the nearest shopping street is about 1.8 kilometers away. The rooms are large, with retro decor and complete facilities, making them great for taking photos. Breakfast is included, so it's worth the price. However, the room had a strong smell of smoke. I had requested a non-smoking room, and the next one was much better. But perhaps because it had rained, the room had a damp, musty smell. The service was good; they were very responsive. However, when we got off the bus to collect our luggage, several people watched us without offering to help or greet us."

"No wonder people always say, ”To keep people coming back, start with their stomachs.” If it weren't for the lack of rooms available for extended stays (business is booming!), I would have stayed a few more days just for the food! (I ”secretly” filmed a video of breakfast, but it was too crowded [shy]). Most restaurants serve a bowl of porridge for late-night snacks, maybe with a bowl of noodles at most. But this place serves: crispy and tender beef noodles with pink pickled radish shreds, perfectly cooked fragrant and sticky black rice porridge, plus side dishes, fruit, and drinks. Breakfast goes without saying; it's absolutely delicious and not at all shoddy. The room amenities are also quite good, the air conditioning is powerful, and there's their own parking lot (though a bit small). The complimentary coffee and tea are at ”Zuo Ka You Cha” next to the lobby, which is also nice! However, the weekend and weekday room rates differ significantly, so advance booking is necessary. Stepping into the moment of whispering, it is like returning home. The boss sister and her husband are super enthusiastic and have questions and answers. They actively help you contact the travel method. You don't have to worry at all. They are as comfortable as old friends who have been making them for many years.
I ate breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea prepared by my sister in Furan. One day I wore a Brown costume and was wearing makeup. My sister was very excited to bring me her eyelashes and makeup spray for me to use. I knew that it was inconvenient to take pictures alone and took me to take a few pictures. Thank you 🥹.

GGuest UserIf you book early, you can also get a free horseback riding experience. The fee includes three meals a day, you can swim, catch fish in the stream, watch the sunrise and sea of clouds, taste coffee and pick coffee beans. It is definitely a treasure manor. It was New Year's Eve, and we prepared a self-service stir-fry, which tasted good. The self-service beef hot pot was also great, with many varieties, delicious beef, and self-service drinks. What else do you want a bicycle?

The breakfast is plentiful and offers great value for money. They offer three meals a day, and even though I didn't have time to try them all, I could sense the owner's generosity and pioneering spirit. I sincerely hope their management improves, and their business thrives.

GGuest UserThis was probably the best hotel I stayed in Yunnan so far.
To start, the room was incredibly clean, new, spacious, and most importantly comfortable, the bed was comfortable and clean when I got there.
On top of this, the amenities within the room are amazing, AI assisted curtain and light activation, strong and fast AC system. The bathroom was huge and had individual rooms for the shower and toilet. The shower area had everything needed and was very spacious. Tons of kits for shaving, vanity, and all that you would need for a hotel stay. Even more, there was an air purifier and majiang table. If you order delivery there is a robot that sends the food to your room.
Staff were very friendly and dependable, gifts were given during leaving, there was also a free breakfast and bridge crossing rice noodle kit that you could order anytime, very tasty!
Lastly, and also very important for travelers, the location is superb, being situated close to the city center and only a 15 minute drive from the train station and opposite side of town. Very convenient!! The area is also quiet and relatively clean.

VVeraForeign friends: don't stay here. The worst experience I've ever had trying to check in - and I've travelled to many remote places in Yunnan over the past six years.
Staff has no clue about rules and regulations, even though I showed them the most up to date rules for foreigners travelling in China.
They tried to stop me from leaving the hotel because they couldn't figure out how to check me in, even though I was very hungry and tired and wanted to eat and go to bed early.
They came to my room at 10pm but still couldn't figure out how to check me in.
And here is the worst: at 8am the manager opened the door of my room and walked in without knocking. There was no inside lock or chain. Luckily I wasn't in the shower.
Awful place that made me feel extremely unwelcome as a foreigner. They made me feel like a criminal because of their incompetence and stupid actions. Very different from most places where staff is helpful even if it's a bit more complicated.

I rarely write hotel reviews, but this time, while visiting Pu'er, I stayed at two hotels, and it really highlights how much comparison matters. This was the first one I stayed at, and honestly, I had a feeling the experience wouldn't be great even before arriving.
My booked room supposedly included free airport pickup. I proactively called the front desk to book it in advance. They asked me to add the hotel's WeChat, but their replies were very cold. Regarding the pickup, they said they couldn't come at our arrival time due to a group charter or some other reason, and told us to take a taxi to the hotel, which the front desk would reimburse. I said I understood. However, when we arrived at the hotel in our own taxi, I saw two hotel shuttle vans sitting empty right outside the entrance. Honestly, if they don't want to offer this service, they shouldn't advertise it. To advertise it and then not provide it, based on the front desk's mood, is really baffling.
As for the front desk staff's attitude, it felt lukewarm at best, not particularly professional or enthusiastic. The uncle making noodles at the breakfast restaurant was actually much friendlier. It was a stark contrast to the front desk staff at the next hotel we stayed at, where the young men and women at reception were professional and welcoming. Saying 'home away from home' might be an exaggeration, but at least they made guests feel very comfortable checking in.
Also, the room didn't feel very spacious. Right behind the door, there was a wad of used tissue that hadn't been cleaned up. Overall, aside from the reception attitude (I'm not saying it was outright bad, but for a 300+ RMB per night room, we didn't even hear a 'welcome' or anything similar throughout our stay, so the experience was definitely mediocre) and the airport pickup, which I found subpar, everything else was fine. The hotel's location is good.

AAnqiFacilities: The facilities are relatively new and clean, and there is really no smell of cigarettes. Hot water came quickly.
Hygiene: Very clean, including the sofa and bed flags in the room, the bathroom is also equipped with a disposable toilet.
Breakfast: There are two breakfasts, with local red rice noodles, as well as Western milk bread and cakes. Children under 120 are free.
Praise: I would like to thank the lady at the front desk of the hotel very much. Because I left in a hurry, I forgot to collect the child's teddy bear doll from the quilt when I left. That was my child's Abebei. As mothers know, although it looks like a discarded short-legged teddy bear doll, it is really important to my child. I found it more than 12 hours after leaving the hotel and called the front desk to look for it. When they heard that it was so important to us, they did not perfunctorily deal with it, but kept looking for the cleaning lady and the brother in charge of linens. After three days of non-stop searching, they finally found it in the factory of the linen cleaning company and delivered it back to the lady at the front desk of the hotel in time. After adding WeChat for confirmation, they handed it to the SF Express courier to send it back to us. The child was really happy when she saw her teddy bear was found. We had almost no hope, they were really caring and made our family feel very warm. Recommended to everyone, this is a very warm hotel! I will bring my children and family to stay in this hotel in the future! Thank you!

SSitao 1985I would love to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Old Town of Chama. It may be a little tricky to find at first, but just follow Google Maps and you’ll get there easily. From the main gate of the Old Town, it’s only about a 5-minute walk.
The hotel itself is quite new and very clean. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom facilities and appliances are all modern and high-quality. The soundproofing is excellent—although you might hear music and dancing outside, once inside the room it’s perfectly quiet. The location strikes a nice balance: slightly away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a few steps from plenty of food stalls and restaurants.
What really makes this place special is the owners. They are a warm, welcoming family with parents, an elder sister, and two younger brothers. They don’t speak English, but communication was never a problem—we used Google Translate to chat over cups of delicious tea. If you need anything, you can always ask them. They are very friendly and genuinely do their best to help.

This B&B owner, who spent 20 years in Beijing and was ultimately ”incorporated” into the world of Pu'er coffee, transforms his stay into a heartwarming adventure with his passion and camaraderie.
When I first met Brother Long, he was bending over, adjusting a row of siphon coffee makers, his movements as skilled as a craftsman. The six sets of imported coffee equipment in the shop, the aroma of freshly roasted beans, and the guest messages on the walls covered with coffee filters—all silent declarations of his coffee faith.
Brother Long isn't content with just making a cup of coffee. From hand-drip brewing to cold-drip extraction, he's happy to share his knowledge. One morning, pointing to the Xima River outside the window, he explained the terroir of Pu'er coffee: ”The altitude and the clouds give the beans bright acidity, just like the morning light on this lake—clean and vibrant.” He excels at ”activating” the wild charm of Pu'er coffee with a single touch.
