Its prime location directly overlooks Erhai Lake, with distant views of Cangshan Mountain, and it's conveniently close to Xingsheng Bridge and Erhai Park, making it super easy to get around and explore. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I received a complimentary stay in an Executive Lake View Room. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views – I could take in the full splendor of the mountains and lake without even leaving my bed! The room's decor blends seamlessly with Bai ethnic design, and the amenities provided were high quality with thoughtful touches throughout. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and the complimentary dinner, included with the room, offered a mix of Chinese and Western light meals, alongside local Dali specialties like rice noodles and rubing cheese. Dining by the window with lake views was a treat. The rooftop heated infinity pool and the grand spiral staircase in the lobby are popular photo spots. The afternoon tea was also exquisite, and heading to the Starlight bar at sunset for a drink created a wonderfully atmospheric experience. The service was warm and attentive, and check-in was efficient and thoughtfully handled. As an Accor brand, the quality is reliably excellent. It’s perfect for both couples on a romantic getaway and families traveling with children. Definitely my top pick for accommodation in Dali."

"We watched sunrise in bed and it was amazing! The location was very convenient as we could walk around the lake and to the nearby shopping plaza. Breakfast had lots of options and the staff was very helpful. They helped us with our laundry, trip ideas, and any issues we had. "good location, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast - noodles, but deliciously prepared. Good coffee. Don't expect beautiful views through the window. note: we asked to do laundry. the staff offered laundry services, and it was free, thank you for that. unfortunately we received the laundry the next morning, they were just taken out of the dryer and put in a bag. It's impossible to wear because everything is wrinkled. It's a strange feeling, as if grateful, but not really."

"We travelled to Dali from Kunming by train. Before arriving, we called the hotel to arrange pickup from the station as we arrived late at 10pm. The hotel was fantastic as they arranged a driver to meet us. We booked the room with the 270 degree view. It was on the 4th and top floor with fantastic view of Erhai Lake. It had an outdoor area bigger than the room!. Although language was a barrier the staff went out of their way to help to make our stay very very pleasant. WeChat and Alipay is a must in Dali. The hotel is located inside a gated area and is very secure. Transport via Didi is easy and the hotel is close to town with train station only 20 minutes away."

"Initially, I was hesitant about staying inside the ancient city, but then I thought about how convenient it would be for dining and shopping. So, I ultimately chose Honglongjing, which seemed like a fairly large hotel. The room itself was really spacious, and the twin-bed room even came with a bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. We spent New Year's Eve here, and watching fireworks and the sunrise from the rooftop garden was a truly special experience – it was the most lively New Year's I've ever had. The breakfast was also excellent, with both Chinese and Western options that my child loved. It's quite rare to find such a tranquil spot amidst the bustling ancient city. It would have been even better if the toilet was a smart one. One minor drawback of being in the ancient city is that you have to walk outside to catch a taxi, but thankfully, it wasn't too far. Perhaps because it was Chinese New Year and very busy, one day our room wasn't properly cleaned, and they just hastily replaced some towels and disposables. I would recommend this place to friends next time, and perhaps the experience would be even better during the off-peak season."

"Following the travel guide provided by the owner, we visited some incredibly scenic spots. The owner also recommended many delicious restaurants and snack bars that offered great taste at reasonable prices. The hotel's location is fantastic, with parking right outside and an elevator, which is super convenient for elderly guests and those with luggage. The owners, a husband and wife duo, are incredibly warm and attentive. They made sure we had plenty of bottled water, and our room was spotless and well-maintained. The decor is stylish and modern, perfect for couples, and the facilities are comprehensive. The hot water supply was excellent with strong water pressure, making for a very comfortable bath in the tub. The smart voice-controlled curtains opened up to a stunning sea view, which was a lovely touch. We were especially touched when the owner offered us a free ride to the airport for our late-night flight, as it was difficult for us to arrange transport with our elderly parents and children. Given the affordable price, the owners' exceptional hospitality, and the cleanliness, this hotel left a deep impression on us. If we ever come back to Dali, we'll definitely choose this place again."

"This hotel offers an exceptional sea view! Located in Dali Golden Coast Manor, it boasts an unobstructed, first-row view with 270° floor-to-ceiling windows and a sea-view balcony. You can lie in bed and admire the Cangshan mountains and Erhai lake, enjoying both sunrise and sunset. The design is very stylish and picture-perfect, with an aerial garden and glass observation deck that make it easy to snap Instagram-worthy photos. The hardware quality is top-notch: a smart home system throughout (voice-controlled lights/curtains), smart toilets, thermostatic showers, and other intelligent features. The service is attentive, including a complimentary breakfast for two, coffee, tea, a chess and card room, music room, and fully equipped fitness room. It's quiet and private, situated in a villa area with few people, offering excellent privacy – perfect for unwinding. This is my second stay at the hotel!"

"This was my first time in Dali, and the hotel was absolutely perfect! I arrived in Dali on May 5th, right when the March Street Ethnic Festival was happening. I was really anxious after seeing posts on Xiaohongshu about traffic jams, road closures, and difficulty getting taxis. But perhaps because the May Day holiday was over, the bus ride from Dali Station to Dali Ancient City West Gate Ecological Parking Lot wasn't congested at all. After getting off, it was a 15-minute walk to the hotel with my suitcase. We passed through the March Street market, which had cobblestone paths – it would have been more troublesome if it had rained. If you have a lot of luggage, it's probably better to take a taxi directly to the hotel entrance. The main entrance is on the side, and the restaurant entrance faces the main road. A security guard in sunglasses proactively helped with our luggage and check-in, which was a huge plus. The room looked exactly like the pictures; the facilities and environment were excellent. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which is great for multiple people getting ready at the same time. Plus, all the drinks and mineral water in the fridge were complimentary, another big plus! Sometimes, when there are many people, you need a lot of bottled water. There's a pharmacy right at the hotel entrance. If you experience altitude sickness, you can buy oxygen cylinders for 28 RMB each. I added the hotel's customer service WeChat when I checked in, and any needs or issues were addressed and resolved very promptly. All the hotel staff were very friendly, and the restaurant aunties were lovely too. Our room was on the third floor, near the third-floor terrace, which was very pleasant. The rooftop on the fourth floor is an excellent spot for photos. The hotel is right next to National Road 214, directly opposite the West Gate of Dali Ancient City. The area can be a bit noisy due to the road. The restaurant across the street played loud music at night, but the room's soundproofing was decent. There was a slight drumming sound before 10 PM, but it stopped completely afterward. We received complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in and flower cake as a souvenir upon check-out, which tasted even better than Jia Hua's! Breakfast was pretty standard, with staples like fried rice, rice noodles, and regular noodles. Right opposite the hotel is a Didi bus stop, where you can catch a bus to Shaxi Ancient Town."

"This hotel is love at first sight! Great location, excellent facilities, and attentive service. You get a 140-degree sea view and can even spot the S-shaped street, all for a great value. While many B&Bs look lovely in their ads, the lack of an elevator can be a real hassle. An elevator in a high-rise building is truly a lifesaver. Stick with established hotels – they're much more reliable."
