"The owner was incredibly welcoming and kind. They even picked us up from the bus station and took us to the guesthouse. Our room was spotless and fresh, with no unpleasant smells. The first floor of the guesthouse is absolutely beautiful! 😍 And the rooftop patio is amazing – you can relax on the swing, gaze at Cangshan Mountain in the distance, and admire the old town. It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing! I highly recommend booking here! It's super close to the South Gate of the old town, which is perfect for an evening stroll and experiencing the night market. Overall, a fantastic experience!"

"The hotel is just a short walk up the road from the Dali train station. Room was very clean and spacious. The view was great. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our bags at the front desk after check out before our train left. 100% would book again. Location is a little far from Dali ancient town, but it was good because the area was very quiet."

"The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, located just across the road from Erhai Lake. From the comfort of your bed or while enjoying tea by the window, you can admire the stunning views of the lake. The room is incredibly spacious at 38 square meters and fully equipped. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. The service is top-notch; they proactively help guests with their luggage and even assist with shipping. I brought my dog with me, and they are incredibly pet-friendly, charging no cleaning fees or deposits."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Erhai Lakeview Apartments. First photo is the view from the room, absolutely stunning! Room is big and spacious with a lot of space to open our luggage. We were assisted by very friendly and helpful staff 小乐 throughout our stay and he provided us with food recommendations around the area as well as possible itinerary or activities to do in Dali during our stay. Additionally, the apartment is conveniently located above a convenience store, local eats, a cafe, and options to rent e-scooters for transport around the city. The street opposite also has many good food options. Would recommend!"

"This hotel is really great! It's located right by the North Gate of the old town, making transportation super convenient. Taxis can drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. The owner even lent us an electric scooter to use, and there's a parking lot for rental cars. It was so easy to get to attractions like Chong Sheng Temple, Longkan Pier, the Old Town, and Xizhou Ancient Town during the day. The Old Town is huge and you can't see it all in one day, so it's nice to be able to go whenever you want. The North Gate vegetable market is just a short walk to the right of the hotel entrance, so finding food is also very easy. Highly recommended!"

"This B&B is just a few minutes' walk from Dali Ancient City, which is super convenient. As soon as you enter, you'll be greeted by two adorable Shiba Inus named 'Shiyi' and 'Huanxi'. The host is incredibly welcoming; he helped with my luggage right from the start. There's a map of Dali's attractions on the wall, and he explained everything in great detail, from recommending sights to warning me about tourist traps. Since it was the off-season, the owner even upgraded my room for free! The B&B offers breakfast and dinner daily. The breakfast rice noodles were delicious! They also served mung bean soup in the evenings, but I always got back too late to catch it. The room was very clean and equipped with smart home devices. A simple 'Xiao Ai, open the curtains' completely freed my hands. The B&B also has its own bar and tea room. After a long day of exploring, you can come back to relax with some tea or a drink, and the host can even sing with you! The staff checked in on my itinerary daily and offered helpful suggestions. I stayed for three nights this time and truly felt at home. I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Dali!"

"The location is fantastic, directly across from the Dali Ancient City Tourist Center. There's a large open space in front of the tourist center, making it very convenient for taxis and parking, though it can get a bit congested during peak hours. It's a super short walk, only about 100 meters, from the hotel to the south gate of Dali Ancient City. The hotel service is also excellent. The concierge staff (young women) are incredibly warm and attentive. Any questions I had were answered quickly via WeChat. I feel their service is comparable to Haidilao. You can see the specific services offered in the pictures; there are so many! For laundry and drying, you don't even have to do it yourself; just give your dirty clothes to the concierge, and they'll return them clean the next day. Every morning, breakfast not only includes a buffet selection but each person can also order a freshly prepared main dish. I think the Zajiang Ersi (noodles with fried sauce) is the best. Although Ersi is made from rice, its texture is quite unique – sticky, moist, not slippery, and a bit chewy. The fried mini sesame balls and fried date balls from the self-serve breakfast are delicious, and the sliced, juicy sausages are also very good. See the pictures for more details. The room is super spacious, the bed is huge, and the TV is a pop-up type hidden in a cabinet (Room 106). The afternoon tea is also incredibly exquisite, featuring flower cakes, preserved fruits, fresh fruit, cookies, and three different types of tea. I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to Dali."

"This newly opened Hilton is incredibly close to the airport, and you can walk to Xingsheng Bridge to see Erhai Lake in just 10 minutes, making its city location extremely convenient. You can tell the hotel's decor is top-notch; the lobby is spacious and grand, the color scheme is pleasing, and the rooms are tidy with quality materials. Even though it's new, there was barely any lingering smell in the room, which was very reassuring. We actually arrived two days earlier, and to our surprise, we happened to see Guo Yuxin and Wang Haozhen, lead actors from Hongguo Short Drama, filming in the hotel lobby. Looks like this Hilton has some serious clout!"

"Quiet and very nicely designed right in the middle of a bustling street!! Perfect to stay to explore Dali old town by foot. We came on spring festival weekend and Dali was quite busy but this hotel was perfectly located and very quiet and calm. The staff is great too. Super helpful and gave us great recommendations for drinks and activities around. The breakfast was also delicious with great coffee, local pastries and porridge. The room was spacious, very clean and totally quiet even if the street is noisy. Totally recommend!! Great price quality ratio."

"The location is excellent, and the room offers a beautiful view of Erhai Lake. It is within walking distance of Erhai Park, with Erhai Yue Wetland Park a slightly longer but still manageable walk away. The daily breakfast is simple yet sufficient, with options such as noodles, rice, dumplings, and fresh fruits. The hotel staff are exceptionally helpful. I fell ill during my stay and needed to visit the hospital. The staff kindly recommended the nearest hospital, helped me get on a cab, and continued checking in to see if there was anything else they could assist with 👍🏻"
