"Had a pleasant stay at M Roof Hotel & Residence. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern design and good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The location is convenient with many eateries nearby and easy parking available. The rooftop pool was a nice bonus. Breakfast could have more variety, but overall it was a good value stay and I would consider coming back again. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide more clearly designated disabled parking spaces closer to the entrance to improve accessibility and convenience for guests with mobility needs."

"The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Since it is a new building, some floors are still under renovation. This was my first experience having a blackout while showering at night. I tried to contact the agency, but there were no staff available, so the only solution offered was a room change. We had to spend extra time moving all our belongings to another floor. One suggestion is to consider waiving the deposit requirement, or for the agent to contact guests one day before check-in to reconfirm the booking and deposit payment. I had already submitted my deposit before check-in, but the agency may have missed my message. I only received the entry QR code after being stopped and questioned by the security guard, which made the experience stressful."

"I saw the high rating on Trip.com and decisively chose to stay at this hotel, considering it as a potential top choice for future business trips. **Welcome:** Communication was seamless, and the doorman quickly guided me to the parking lot. **Parking:** There are two options: paid valet parking outside the hotel lobby, and a multi-story parking garage on floors 4-5 (free if you register at the front desk). There's a direct elevator from the parking lot to the lobby on the G floor, but it doesn't go directly to guest room floors. **Lobby/Front Desk:** Complimentary welcome drinks were available. The front desk staff were highly efficient, completing check-in within about 5 minutes. They also clearly informed me about the complimentary supper buffet at 11 PM (porridge, red bean soup, soy milk, and some side dishes). They also accommodated my request for a late check-out. **Guest Room:** I stayed on the 7th floor this time. There was a subtle, pleasant aroma from the lobby all the way to the room, not overpowering. The room was about 40 square meters, quite spacious, and the layout was very practical. The twin room also featured a bathtub, with warm lighting perfect for a relaxing soak. I personally prioritize good air conditioning, and it was excellent. The soundproofing of the glass was also good; occasionally, I could still hear the roar of modified cars or supercars. **Facilities:** The infinity pool on the rooftop (R floor) offered a great view. However, I noticed the hotel doesn't seem to have a gym, though I'm not entirely sure. **Breakfast:** The variety and selection were just average, not particularly extensive. The taste seemed to cater more to local Malaysian preferences. **Pros:** ① Complimentary supper, a thoughtful touch, which is rare for hotels in Malaysia. ② Direct access between the hotel and Ipoh Parade shopping mall. ③ Centrally located, so no worries about food and drinks. ④ Extremely fast room service. I requested a bucket of ice, and it arrived within 7 minutes. Impressive! ⑤ The complimentary mini-bar included regular coffee and tea, plus two extra beverages and two packets of peanuts/nuts. **Areas for Improvement:** ① I noticed that during supper time, the tables already had breakfast cutlery and tissues laid out. After guests finished supper and the used cutlery was cleared, the unused cutlery remained on the table. This is a significant hygiene concern. I suggest setting up breakfast cutlery after supper service. ② The hairdryer should be placed in the bathroom for guests' convenience, not in the wardrobe (as the noise can disturb a companion). ③ There was noticeable dust in the light strip recess next to the toilet in the bathroom. ④ The Wi-Fi speed needs improvement. While not terrible, it wasn't ideal and affected work efficiency. ⑤ The anti-slip properties of the floor tiles in the shower were not very good. This issue needs attention to prevent falls. Anti-slip coating could be applied, non-slip mats provided, or warning signs posted for guests. **Summary:** As an experienced business traveler who has stayed in no less than 500 hotels worldwide, including high-end and luxury establishments, the above review is absolutely fair and reflects my personal experience. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. Considering the price and hotel category, it's worth returning to."

"I stayed during a public holiday and school holiday period, so a large crowd was expected. Unfortunately, the check-in process took over two hours. I queued from 6:00 PM and only checked in around 8:30 PM. Initially, there were two staff members handling check-ins, but later only one remained. Credit to the staff member on duty he stayed calm and professional despite the heavy crowd and queue cutting incidents. The issue was clearly a lack of manpower and planning. Management should anticipate higher guest volumes during long weekends and streamline the check-in process. The unit itself was clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but the check-in experience needs significant improvement during peak periods."

"I’m from Ipoh and brought my Friends here for a short gateway . What a wonderful hotel to stay . Walking distance to famous restaurants and attractions. Easy to grab . Beside a restaurant got a nice restaurant to dine in especially the tou fu fa !!! Much nicer than the famous one . Another Japanese restaurant just beside the hotel . I will definitely recommended for all ."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping everything spotless throughout my stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean with fresh towels provided daily. The hotel environment was quiet and pleasant, making it a relaxing place to stay. "The room is clean & spacious, aircon is cold enough & water pressure for shower is good too. Breakfast varieties though not extensive but good enough (similar to the airport lounge) & breakfast ambience is good. Staffs were helpful & friendly especially the breakfast staffs & the conceirge staffs. We have 5 guests joining us for breakfast & the staff helped to see to the arrangement. Thanks. Hotel location is very convenient, within walking distance to mall & famous dim sum places but will highly recommend taking grabcar as it only cost 5RM as the cars don't stop at the crossing for pedestrian to cross at all & when it's raining!"

"Stayed at Hotel 1969 and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were polite and kind throughout our stay, especially the concierge, who also acted as our airport transfer driver. Although I did not get his name, he was very responsible and ensured we arrived at the airport on time. We also enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading off, which was perfect and satisfying. The hotel location is very convenient, with many coffeeshops nearby. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely return again."

"I have been staying in this hotel for a few times. Location is my primary factor although there are many traffic lights along the way. The location is simply strategic and it is surrounded by convenience stores, malls, restaurants and many more. It is suitable for a simple stay. I am definitely satisfied by the good water pressure and room size. However yesterday my stay was not pleasant. The air condition was not good - It was not cold. Because we were too tired, we did not bother and the sleep was not good. Surprisingly it was back to function upon our departure. 😅 Otherwise the stay was still pleasant."

"The hotel was excellent in some ways, but really lacking in others. The highlights of the hotel are the exceptional breakfast, the best I’ve had in SE Asia, and its delicious desserts and pastries in the lobby. As well as the very good service, with two things coming to mind, one being a free room upgrade, and two allowing me to go to breakfast 30 minutes early (6:30am vs 7:00am). The hotel is very aesthetic and unique in style too, and the tech is certainly interesting and used intelligently. However, they also make some bizarre decisions given they’re a 5* hotel. Firstly, why there is no soap in the bathroom I’ll never know, I shouldn’t have to go in the shower each time to get body wash to wash my hands each time. The shower would progressively get colder with a couple of minutes and be quite cold by 5 minutes in. The bed is far from luxury feeling, with it quite hard, though reasonably comfortable and the duvet cover had some marks on it. Finally, the tech means there are a lot of unnecessary lights around the room, which makes the room a lot less dark. Overall, I would have expected the hard product to be better within a hotel of this class but the soft product was definitely 5*."
