Windermere Hotels with Hot Tub

"The hotel is located nearby the lake with extraordinary views. I typically love the lounge and the restaurant. There is an open ground area exclusively for hotel residents. The service was great and friendly. However, the ventilator in my bathroom was broken, causing inconvenience. And, if you are looking for a AC during summer visit, you might need to change another one. But overall, worth to visit and stay!"

"Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself. We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too. We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful. After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks. We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny"

"The hotel is conveniently located 6-7 minutes from the station and lake area, making it easy to access boats and buses. The hotel's environment is pleasant, but honestly, the rooms are quite average. The carpet was a bit dirty, and there were multiple stains on the sofa. The bathroom only had a small bottle of shampoo, no shower gel, but there was a small bar of soap. However, the breakfast included with the room was surprisingly good. The à la carte main courses were very English and definitely worth praising. Just for the breakfast alone, I would recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is located in the most bustling town in the Lake District, with plenty of shops and businesses. It's about a 5-6 minute walk to the lakeside pier. I booked a king room and a quad room. The quad room was in the building with the spa, and there was a bar downstairs. It felt a bit cramped for four people, and the bathroom was extremely small, plus there was only one. The king room in the main building where you check in was quite good. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of fruits, allowing us to enjoy a leisurely time."

"離車站不遠，推着行李下坡到達酒店也還是輕鬆的，返程時得上坡，但因為距離近也沒太難。酒店很安靜，會幫忙提拿行李，酒店早餐也不錯，服務員都很友善。酒店外圍有個大草坪，會有人鍛鍊。總之推薦"

"A villa with several floors. We stayed in the attic. Fortunately, the receptionist helped us to carry our luggage up and down. Several people sat around a table for breakfast and the food was served according to the portion."

"Booked the love snug for my wife's 30th and honestly couldnt of been better so helpful an welcomed with a smile by who i think was the owner she was amazing. Nothing was to much trouble as a whole probably one of the best weekends away weve been on and mostly because of this hotel would recommend and will definitely be back again 100% big thank you for making our weekend to windamere so special. Lots of love the Rileys X (Scousers)"

"Booked last minute. Great location. Lovely rooms and breakfast was delicious Only criticism was water pressure for showers was poor and no blackout blind/ curtains so light was in the room very early"

"Mid-point between Windermere Station and Bowness Pier, which means it is convenient to access to both high street. On-site Car parking is free but quite narrow. Lounge (common area) is Cosy, there is a piano for guest to play! Yet, the room is rather small, especially the toilet and the shower area. Great (4) choice of breakfast, and delicious. Guest can use a health club (gym) of a local area for free, but it is some 10 mins drive from the hotel according to the host. It'd be much better if the room is air-conditioned."

"Hotel was clean, plenty of parking, good breakfast No information in rooms, was advised that they didn’t like clutter, so any questions we had we had to go to reception to ask. No wifi, channels on tv not tuned in, had to pay to use the spa facilities."
