"This is a family hotel, I didn't notice it when I booked it. The room was clean and it was a 15-minute walk from the ferry in the town. The landlord had a lot of rules: for example, you can't bring food from the restaurant back to the room, put your shoes on the tray, check out at 10 o'clock, and you can't store your bag after checking out."

"It feels like a family B&B. You can only check in in the afternoon. It is a separate villa. The hydrangeas in the courtyard are beautiful. It is very nice to have afternoon tea in the small courtyard on a sunny day. It is very close to Windermere Railway Station, suitable for those who are unable to drive by themselves. It is about 20 minutes' walk from the town of Bowness. When I made the reservation, only the loft room type was left. The spiral staircase would be a bit inconvenient. I felt that this room type was only suitable for young people. If you don't have to live by the lake, this price is still relatively high in Windermere. Breakfast is a typical English breakfast, but the service is quite enthusiastic. In addition to breakfast, each person will receive a piece of cake every day. Although the taste is relatively ordinary, you can also bring some supplies when you go hiking. I recommend a Chinese takeaway restaurant run by a Hong Konger in Windermere. The Sin Chew fried rice and curry rice are both delicious haha."

"Traditional friendly guest house. Nice , clean bedroom with en suite shower room. 5 mins walk to Windermere centre, easy access to Bowness. Owners were friendly and welcoming with good knowledge of local attractions. We would stay again if in the area."

"Excellent location, there are many tea houses and shopping malls around. The environment is beautiful, clean and tidy, the room is comfortable, and there are different kinds of drinks available. Steve and Hayley are very friendly, the breakfast is rich, especially the different kinds of smoked fish, delicious 😋"

"Very impression experience. Everything was good. Room, staff, breakfast. We stayed 2 nights there. One little thing was the water didn't filled up for the second night but room service provided it after we inquired."

"The hotel of the nature of the hotel is a bit away from the lake. It is clean to sleep at night, but you need to drive down. The hostess looked like an Eastern European, friendly, and put coffee snacks in the restaurant to use. The family was on the first floor and we unfortunately got the room on the third floor. The stairs are very steep and inconvenient. The room was very warm and the fan was too hot. The bathroom is a little smaller and can be used."

"Very traditional English-style inn, many British people move in. Breakfast is a fixed amount. Traditional British scrambled eggs + sausages, because of children, booked a room with two beds, one large bed and one small bed. The mattress is about half a meter thick, which is not easy to get on. The equipment is simple, the advantage is that it is relatively close to the classic Lake District, and there are many places to eat next to it, which is more convenient. Many Britons bring their dogs directly to the hotel and can hear the barking of dogs in the next room as soon as they leave the room door. The photo of the room was not taken. Two photos of the Lake District were uploaded."

"Location: It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Windermere Railway Station. The way to go is downhill, and the way back is uphill. It is quite close. The accommodation is self-check-in, there is access control, no elevator, you need to carry your luggage, the highest third floor The room is quite big, health ok, hot water is a bit slow, the room has heating Hotel breakfast (8:30 ～ 9:30) is not bad, there are many choices, you can fill in the table at the door one day in advance. We needed to catch the car in advance on the last day, so that the hotel staff helped prepare breakfast on the road in advance, the service attitude was very good, praise"

"This house was built in 1850. This house can be checked in through a password. The bed is soft and comfortable, the room is very warm, and the hot water is sufficient. It is a little bit far from the railway station, but very close to the lake. A good trip experience!"
