"Our stay at Sand Sea Resort was fantastic. Without a doubt, it's an incredible hotel for a holiday getaway in Railay Beach. One of its major advantages is its location, as it has access to both the main Railay Beach and the beach on the other side where the pier is located, which is very convenient for both arriving and getting around the area. The facilities are very well maintained, and the entire hotel exudes a sense of tranquility and relaxation. Furthermore, the staff are super friendly, attentive, and helpful at all times, making the stay even more pleasant. Without a doubt, it's an ideal place to disconnect, enjoy Railay, and spend a few days on holiday in a beautiful setting. We would definitely repeat!"

"Without a doubt, the best resort in Ao Nang!!! We had an exceptional stay. Since we traveled during low season, they offered us an upgrade from a Coconut cottage to a Sainai, and we absolutely loved the room. The only minor improvement would be that the toilet tends to get clogged (in general, in many bathrooms in Thailand, they ask you to throw toilet paper in the bin, so it must be common). The pool is incredible; we enjoyed it immensely. The breakfast is good, offering an à la carte menu in addition to the buffet. The attention and service were 10/10. Everything was very clean. They offer hourly transfers to Ao Nang."

"We really enjoyed our stay! Everyone was friendly, but a special shoutout to the concierge uncle at the entrance — he always had the biggest smile and was so welcoming and helpful every time we passed by. Such a lovely person and definitely one of the things we’ll remember about our stay 😊 The hotel was comfortable, clean, and overall a really pleasant place to stay. It is a little further from the beach, but honestly it wasn’t an issue at all for us since we rented a motorbike and could get around easily. Junior Suite Room was huge and hotel accommodated our request for the L-shaped window room overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was decent too. Overall, we had a great time here and would happily come back again!"

I particularly remember a dessert the chef prepared right in front of me. It was tiramisu – incredibly delicate, perfectly balanced, and, without exaggeration, one of the best I've ever tasted. It was clear how much attention and love they put into even these small details. It's the people who make this place special. The entire staff creates an atmosphere of calm, comfort, and genuine care, making the vacation feel truly exceptional. "First, the positives: the environment is lovely, the private villa is incredibly quiet with no noise, and the location is excellent, right on Ao Nang Beach. The room size is also very generous. The downside is that the front desk staff are incredibly inflexible. It's a real hassle to try and switch rooms or extend your stay in the same room, and communication is very difficult. If you stay at this hotel, you'd better make sure you don't need to interact with them at all."

"The staff were so incredibly helpful. I left my luggage there and stayed elsewhere because the rooms were full, and the staff really looked after it. The breakfast was also good. Great value for money, definitely exceeded expectations!"

"Overall, a pretty good hotel. The staff are very friendly, and they offer a car service for transportation. The newly renovated rooms are quite modern. It's inevitable to find bugs on the island, and there were quite a few ant-like insects in the bathroom. Also, dining options are a bit limited, so I recommend trying the local eateries in the nearby village. Getting to the island isn't the most convenient, but it's not as bad as some online reviews suggest. Walking from the hotel's boat to the beach and watching the staff transport luggage with small carts was actually quite an interesting experience."

"Beautiful location, just outside all the hustle and bustle. We stayed in a clean bungalow behind the first row of bungalows (the ones directly on the sea are, of course, even nicer). The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very extensive. The restaurant for lunch and dinner was also good. From the beach, you can hop right onto a longtail boat for a lovely trip. If you want to experience the crowds, you can be in Ao Nang within 20 minutes by Grab."
