Atour S far exceeded my expectations with its sophisticated and tasteful ambiance. The public areas are elegantly minimalist, and the bamboo-themed lounge offers a tranquil and restorative retreat. My room was spacious, featuring smart home controls throughout, a premium deep-sleep mattress, and high-end toiletries. The bathroom had excellent dry/wet separation, and the soundproofing was superb. The service was discreet and attentive, with a welcome tea upon check-in and a comforting late-night porridge, showcasing their thoughtfulness. The local breakfast spread was extensive. The self-service laundry and drying facilities were a great convenience for travelers. This hotel is a peaceful haven amidst the bustling city, making it my top choice for business travel.

The front desk lady was super pretty and sweet. I booked a special offer room, and she upgraded me to a Japanese-style tatami room for free. The room was incredibly clean, and it even had a hot water dispenser. You could see Tianfeng Tower right outside the window, and it looked quite beautiful when lit up at night. The environment was very quiet, no noise at all. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ningbo!

All five-star reviews are solely for the amazing service provided by the Holiday Inn Express front desk staff. The gentleman was incredibly patient and helpful. He upgraded us to a family room at the neighboring Crowne Plaza, personally escorted us to check in, and even had fruits and drinks delivered to our room. We are truly grateful! Now, about the Crowne Plaza itself: we were in the South Tower, which has very outdated facilities. Upon check-in, we found the room to be quite dirty and messy. There wasn't a single good pillow, and the blankets even had bloodstains. We called the front desk and had them changed that night. I'm not sure if the bedding in the newly renovated North Tower is newer or cleaner. The hotel's only real advantage is its good location.

I booked last minute and still got a room that was quiet and away from the elevator. Though I could smell smoke in the hallways, it didn’t disturb my room. The bathroom and bed were clean, the bed was comfortable with an assortment of pillows. The room has a nice tea set and plenty of room water (two in the refrigerator), instant Nescafé coffee. The shower temperature was good and they had hair conditioner as well. The robes and slippers were nice, but no shower shoes. You can order any toiletries and have them delivered, and a robot brings your waimai. The TV had free on demand movies in multiple languages. The air conditioner is strong, and though you can adjust the fan speed, I don’t think you can adjust the temperature, which means you may not be able to use it consistently if you are sensitive to AC. I woke up hot due to this, which is fine, but it’d have been preferable otherwise. It’s directly across from the railway station as shown in my only evening photo. Nice view of the river.

Before my arrival, she proactively upgraded my room and patiently assisted me in registering for the IHG Rewards Club, explaining the member benefits. She also helped me pre-register my car's license plate information, saving me the hassle of doing it upon arrival. Additionally, she prioritized our check-in, significantly improving the efficiency of the process. During my stay, there was a minor issue with the room. After I reported it to Nancy, she responded very quickly and immediately arranged for us to move to a brand-new room. Her efficiency in handling problems was excellent, and it didn't disrupt our rest. The hotel is located in the city center, offering an excellent location with comprehensive dining and shopping options nearby, making transportation very convenient. From the initial communication and check-in to handling unexpected issues, every step made me feel at ease. The service is commendable, earning a five-star rating. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The room did not expect this price to live in such a good room! Air conditioning cooling and heating effect is good, the network speed is stable and not stuck, the lighting is soft and not dazzling. There is also a free self-service laundry and drying in the store. It is super convenient to travel and wash clothes. The facilities are very complete and the price is far more than other hotels in the same section.

My stay this time completely exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, with no strange odors, and fully equipped. The hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly, and it even had a separate wet and dry bathroom area. The bed and duvet felt just right in terms of temperature. The soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet at night. The staff were friendly. The hotel's location is excellent, with complete amenities nearby. It's only a short distance from A Mao Restaurant and also close to the subway exit. The breakfast selection was rich and tasted good. It's highly recommended. I have a great impression of Atour, and I'll try an Atour in Suzhou next time.

The hotel's environment and room decor were absolutely perfect. The breakfast was plentiful, and they even offered late-night congee after 9:30 PM. The decor was very tasteful. I also noticed that all the wooden cabinets and shelves in the room had rounded corners to prevent bumps, which is a really thoughtful touch. I especially loved that the tissue box, toilet paper holder, and bathroom trash can were all made of travertine – both beautiful and practical. The room's smart system was also great; the TV could connect to my phone for screen mirroring, which was very convenient. The TV home screen even showed the current availability of washing machines and dryers. One area for improvement is the bathroom and vanity lights. After turning them on, they seemed to periodically detect movement and would suddenly turn off, then back on when I moved again. It wasn't very stable. I'll definitely stay at Atour again if I have the chance.
