"This hotel is very close to Vienna's main train station. If you exit from the eastern entrance of the station, it's about a 100-meter walk. We planned to stay near the main station because we were taking a train to the airport shortly after, so we didn't really need to buy public transport tickets. The hotel environment is very clean, and the lobby on the ground floor is spacious. Check-in starts at 3 PM, and we arrived just before 3 PM and they checked us in. You can check in using the self-service machine or by handing your passport to the front desk staff for manual check-in. I chose manual check-in, as it was hassle-free. In Austria, there's a city tax for accommodation. Since the price we booked through Ctrip already included the city tax, we didn't have to pay anything extra upon check-in. Further inside is the breakfast area. I didn't want a Western-style breakfast, so I didn't pay extra for it (breakfast is 18 Euros per person, and children are a bit cheaper at 8.9 Euros). The room was very clean. We booked a 'design room,' and it was very spacious. We could open both our suitcases on the floor and still have plenty of room. Regarding the price, we paid 1665 RMB for two nights, which is about 200 Euros. For a hotel near the train station, this is quite good value for money. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the heating was sufficient, so no worries there. The only thing is about hot water: there's no kettle in the room. There's a self-service hot water dispenser in the lobby where you check in. I basically filled both my water cups every time I went, and you can adjust the temperature yourself (first long-press to unlock, then set the temperature and volume, and finally press start). During my stay, I didn't see many people using it. Maybe everyone bought bottled water. As it was winter, I needed warm water, so I went to get water every morning and evening, except when I was out. If the water ran out, you could tell the staff, and they would refill it â it's tap water that's instantly heated by the machine. We were two adults and one child (10 years old). When booking on Ctrip, you have to enter the child's age, so this hotel was recommended as suitable for families. However, younger children don't need to register their passports. The bed was large enough for us. The room was exactly as shown in the online pictures, so I won't upload any. I did upload a picture of the instructions for the water dispenser. Oh, and after check-in, Ctrip will send you an email with an English check-in voucher, so even if you have communication issues, you can just show the voucher to the staff."
