"Location: Super close to Vienna's main train station, just a 3-5 minute walk. Since it's not in the old town, the surrounding area is a bit average, but there are still a few restaurants. Plus, Vienna Main Station itself is a great spot for foodies.
Facilities: For a budget hotel, the facilities are decent. The room size is quite large for European standards, and the amenities feel relatively new. I'd like to give a special shout-out to the breakfast – an automatic cheese slicer and a waffle maker are pretty high-end for a budget place, and the breakfast itself was good, perfect for those who enjoy a Western-style spread.
Service: The hotel service was quite good. The front desk even provided two glass cups, which were handy for drinking water and brushing teeth. They also offer luggage storage.
Overall: It's conveniently located with easy access to transportation. It's very close to Belvedere Palace and Schönbrunn Palace isn't too far either, making it ideal for travelers arriving or departing Vienna by train. However, if you're looking to experience the city's culture, staying in the old town would be a better choice."

"Stayed for two nights in July. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right across the street, just a three-minute walk to a row of hotels if you turn left when you exit. Just make sure to exit through the door near the Spar supermarket. We were a party of one adult and two children, and the sofa bed was already made up when we entered the room. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. The shower didn't have a door, which was a bit awkward. It had air conditioning and a mini-fridge, but no kettle, though I did see some guests borrowing one from the front desk. Getting to the city center is super convenient; you can just take the metro from the train station."

"The location is excellent, right across the street from the train station. There are stores like DM and Aldi nearby, which makes shopping very convenient. "Whenever I'm in Vienna and need to stay overnight near the airport, I usually pick this hotel. The rooms aren't huge, but it's super close to the airport. There's an underground tunnel that leads directly to the airport, though I couldn't find the exit from the airport side. However, if you cross a small road from the hotel, you can spot it easily."

"Ok place . I was upset as a regular customer that the staff its all online and skeleton when not that their english us awful and manners whilst soeaking my language us equally as bad . I wished to change a future booking as i wouldve overstayed in schengen, they were unprepared to accommodate my request which was upsetting and says alot about how they think about their customers. A changed in 2 days ! From 2 week booking . Theyve gone down in my estimation. Get none austrian staff who can speak english properly, tbh the best english speaker was the polish cleaning lady and she was very pleasant .
Also i queried the vent not working in tge bathroom twice , never heard any response from the house technician. Ive used smartments in bavaria and all their staff are german and soeak adequate english. Shame they've stopped putting toasters and kettles in rolms and having less staff on between staff hours of 10 till 4. The reception staff used to be very good. Need to up their game . These are my only negatives of smartments"

"1. The traffic is very convenient. There is a 49 tram within 10m. It takes less than 10 minutes to get there. It is convenient to go anywhere.
2. It is more like a family hotel. There is no 24h front desk. When I arrived at 11:30, I could not call the main door. Another group of tourists opened the door for me. It is best to have whatsup and add the hotel number to contact. Later, I contacted through whatsup and checked in 3h in advance. This is still more flexible.
3. Very safe, the door is locked daily, and the key of the guest can be opened
The decoration inside is very special
5. The room is not soundproof
From 7am to 10pm you can hear the bells of the church next door

Honestly if you're solo travelling or you're two people just go right ahead and book it it's super close to the city centre right next to the metro line the room is really clean they had capsule coffee and water with a couple of Sweet treats the bed was comfortable the Wi-Fi is decent checking in was super easy. And it's significantly cheaper than other hotels and it's if you want to walk it's only 15 20 minute walk to the main areas or you can just get the metro which is just four five minutes away it's super easy to get to schonbrunn Palace. The bathroom was super clean and the showers great they also included shower gel conditioner body lotion and there's a fridge. The room might seem really small when you first walk in, but there's loads of places to put your stuff so they can be out the way. Book straight away!!!

Guest UserThe transportation is very convenient here. You can directly access the airport via the S7 line, and it is also easy to travel to other cities with transfers from Wien Hbf. The service is nice, and the overall design of the hotel is quite unique.
However, the hygiene condition was disappointing. When I checked in, I found some hair on the bed and towels, and the carpet was not very clean either. I even stepped on a relatively large metal fragment on the floor.
Another major drawback is that there is almost no proper desk or working space in the room. I had to use the bedside table as a temporary desk, which is quite inconvenient, especially for business travelers or researchers who need to work on a laptop.

The accommodation quality is standard Ibis, and there's a small restaurant downstairs. You can store your luggage for free, and the staff are very friendly.

The apartment is well-sealed and soundproof, with air conditioning, and you can even cook noodles. Seriously good. Just a heads-up for European hotels: remember to wash your dishes when you leave, just like you would at home. Let's show everyone our good etiquette!

Anonymous UserStayed at this place for an exhibition at the ACV. Rooms are pretty compact and just enough. Maybe it's already a great price for accommodation in Vienna🤔. It's close to the U bahn station for hbf, so you may take an early morning walk at Stephansplatz. Breakfast is alright, only wish there is air con in the room.

The hotel is located on a very quiet side street and is conveniently situated for public transport (bus and tram). You can reach St. Stephen's Cathedral in the city center in just 10 minutes. The value for money was excellent. Would happily stay again anytime.

This hostel is hard to beat for location—right next to the MuseumsQuartier and Kunsthistorisches Museum, and within walking distance of nearly all the major attractions on the Ringstraße (Vienna’s historic ring road). The subway is just a few minutes away too.
I booked a private room as a solo traveler and found it great value—clean, daily housekeeping, and all the basic amenities you’d expect. The 24-hour reception is super convenient, especially since they ask you to leave your key when you go out (so no risk of losing it).
The dorm scene looked lively, with lots of young adults traveling in groups. If you’re with friends, I can imagine this place being an absolute steal. Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers who want to be in the heart of Vienna.

Excellent hotel for its price. I was positively surprised that even breakfast was included! And it was delicious- eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, desserts, fruit, even cacao! Staff was very friendly, room quite clean & enough for 1 person. No problems with hot water. Stable wifi. Shower gel & shampoo provided, but not of high quality, I preferred to use mine. Unfortunately, no water of tea pot available for free at the hotel, but near reception you can find a coffee machine for 2 eur drink. Also you can order a teapot for 5 eur in your room. It was quite calm in the hotel, though I could hear voices from the nearest room.
There was a problem with the safe: it was locked when I arrived, the personnel could open it at first, because there were no keys. In the evening they opened it, then I just closed the door to put my code, but it turned out to be closed again...and I didn't know the code, of course. So I didn't use it. But it would be better if you have an updated instruction how to use it, current is not valid. Though the staff told me I could leave smth at the reception if I would like.
The district is great - shops, cafés just around the corner. 5 mins walk to the nearest metro station, 15 mins to Rathaus. I easily got to the city center by foot.

FEIBecause I lived in a hotel in Europe for the first time, I was accustomed to the domestic habits and did not bring slippers. As a result, the restaurant did not provide it. Without the converter, the result was not provided by the restaurant, so I bought a difference of 12.9 euros. Ok! If you live in a European hotel, you must bring the necessary items, otherwise you will have a bad point. The distance from the Schönbrunn Palace is not there, but there is no breakfast shop. We had to go to the Golden Arch in one subway station and then to the Schönbrunn Palace in the subway. The hotel is very quiet, the morning is the window, wake us up.

There's a subway-like public transport option for getting around. At this price point, it's definitely one of the cheapest options around. It's fine if you just need a place to crash for the night.
