"Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!"

The bedding quality is truly impeccable; the pure white linens feel soft and skin-friendly, and the pillows are just the right firmness. My neck and waist felt perfectly comfortable after a long day of travel, allowing me to fall asleep instantly and get a beautiful night's rest. The room's natural lighting is also a huge plus. The window is fitted with thick blackout curtains. During the day, opening them lets in abundant light, and the outdoor view is expansive, showing street buildings. If you want to sleep in, drawing the curtains completely blocks out light, ensuring you won't be disturbed by the morning brightness. The wall-mounted air conditioning unit provides quick cooling and heating, with stable temperature control that avoids sudden temperature shifts. "one of the smoothest hotel experiences i've had in china; it's family-owned and the staff are warm and friendly! we received a room upgrade free of charge upon arrival an our room was clean, modern, spacious, and quiet. there's free coffee and mini snacks on the 4th floor, along with a self-serve free laundry (wash + dry combined) and microwave. the only downside is that the gym is +40rmb per person, but i found the facility to be run-down, dirty, and with some broken machines. overall a very positive experience. we rebooked sungold hotel again after we return from our trip to jiuzhaigou (九寨沟)!"
