"This hotel's design is absolutely perfect for couples; it's incredibly romantic and atmospheric. The highlight has to be the huge bathtub with an unbeatable view of Chengdu's nightscape – simply stunning! From the front desk service to the room tidiness, everything was exceptional. The location is fantastic too, right behind Taikoo Li, with two convenience stores downstairs. Plus, the street food stalls outside stay open quite late, so night owls can easily grab a late-night snack. Highly recommend! 💯"

"The room was exactly as pictured, boasting a very unique and stylish design. My two friends and I checked in, having originally booked a king room. The front desk staff proactively offered us the option to upgrade to a family room. After comparing, we decided the family room would be more comfortable for the three of us, so we paid to upgrade. The family room had excellent natural light and was very well-equipped. The laundry room, gym, and other facilities are all available 24/7. The only minor drawback was the lack of breakfast. However, our overall stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it."

"Pros: Wifi was really good here with super fast connection as compared to some other hotels I have been in China. Breakfast is decent. Pool looks nice. Location is good and easy to get a taxi. Overall pretty clean. Nice to have washing machine in the room. Robot for food deliveries. Cons: We did not seem to be able to adjust the aircon temperature to our desired level and had to resort to opening the curtains and windows fully at times. Sometimes, the food delivery driver is not able to use the robot so we had to collect it downstairs ourselves. Overall: Would recommend!"

"LOCATION is super good. Within couple of minutes to Taikooli, which has lots of shops including a big supermarket and plenty of eateries. Also within walking distance to Chunxi and IFS. APARTMENT is big and spacious and good for at least 4 pax (mine was a 2-bedroom Japanese-style apartment). Very aesthetic and IG-worthy at every corner of the apartment. View from room was amazing. Although looks old from outside, it is actually nice and clean within. Comes with kitchenette with fridge etc, washer, 1 bathroom cum toilet and 1 separate bath outside (open concept). There's a big screen wigh projector to watch movies in the living room. There's even a fireplace with logs! Free bottled water every day and you can request for daily housekeeping at your preferred timings. OTHERS: There are 2 mini marts within the building, it's easy to get ******* delivery. Convenient to get Didi. A few cafes and quaint boutiques, roadside food stslls and street vendors just outside the apartment building. Communication woth the apartment staff via WeChat was seamless as their responses were always prompt. Overall, highly recommended!"

"The location is good as it is close to chengdudong, but it is actually around 10 minutes walk and even further if you want to reach the metro, and it is quite confusing as there is another rayfont international hotel not to be confused with this rayfont apartment hotel, which might misled you. Room is pretty neat and comfortable and staff service is good, but we were given a room facing the train station and the sound proofing is very bad where the train announcement can be heard and it disrupt our sleep."

"The location is good, but the hygiene is just okay, and the facilities are quite old. The funniest part was the service. I called for water, and it didn't arrive for an hour. I had to go to the front desk myself to get it. The front desk lady apologized very quickly, though. It felt like the front desk and housekeeping were completely separate departments with no communication. During check-in, they sweet-talked me into signing up for a membership by promising a fruit platter – specifically a fruit platter. A day passed, and it never arrived. After multiple reminders, the front desk lady maintained her apologetic attitude, promising to arrange it immediately, but nothing came of it. On the second evening of my stay, the housekeeping auntie brought me an orange, a pear, and an apple, saying that a pomegranate that was already on the table yesterday was the 'fruit platter'... Okay, I've had fruit platters before, and I even accidentally saw what kind of fruit platter they delivered to the room next door – at least it was cut fruit, right? I immediately told her that the front desk promised a fruit platter, not a few whole fruits, and returned them. The auntie gave an awkward smile and said, 'It's fine, just take it and eat it.' Do I look like I'm starving for fruit? At this point, I was getting angry. I felt like I'd been conned. A single pomegranate is a fruit platter? I called again, and the front desk lady, as usual, apologized and promised that since there was no fresh fruit today (what was the housekeeping auntie bringing me then?), they would arrange a fruit platter first thing tomorrow morning. I repeatedly confirmed with her if the 'fruit platter' was what I understood it to be and received an affirmative answer. Fine, I'd wait... The next day, I was already preparing to check out when it finally arrived. I gave up. It was just one banana more than the previous collection. I admit defeat. It's not that I absolutely needed to eat their fruit platter, but I really dislike feeling like I've been fooled, especially when they tell me a single pomegranate is a 'fruit platter'... (See attached photo) In the end, I didn't eat any of it. I just felt that the service was absolutely terrible."

"Who says the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu is subpar???!!! I especially want to commend Manager Meria Pan Liping. She is, without a doubt, the most satisfying lady I've encountered across all the Ritz-Carltons I've stayed at! First, before check-in, she meticulously confirmed every detail, never shirking or giving vague answers, and implemented every one of my requests. Second, throughout my entire stay, she was always responsive to my needs. Her efficiency and professionalism deserve a huge thumbs-up! As an ESTJ who values efficiency and attention to detail, I couldn't find a single flaw in Manager Pan's service! I'd even say Manager Pan sets the benchmark and is the epitome of Ritz-Carlton service! Finally, I'd also like to commend the Concierge and Executive Lounge. The Concierge always arranged transportation perfectly; the cars were clean and tidy, and they were prompt in opening doors and handling luggage. The Executive Lounge's food and beverage offerings are far superior to those at the Ritz-Carlton Nanjing, Tianjin, and Pudong, among others. Every time my child went to dine, the ladies and gentlemen in the lounge could accurately call out my child's name, and Alisa is not only beautiful but also understands my child's preferences, providing incredibly thoughtful service!"

However, the standard room type did not have a smart/bidet toilet, and the bed felt a bit small. ## Cleanliness Excellent, ensuring a very comfortable and reassuring stay. ## Ambiance & Location The hotel itself is beautiful, and its location is quite good, offering convenient access to various places. ## Service Overall, the service was good. However, I noticed from previous reviews that guests are usually contacted beforehand to confirm their check-in preferences, which didn't happen in my case. Additionally, food deliveries are not brought up to the room; guests need to collect them from the designated delivery locker. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very welcoming upon check-in, and the concierge took the time to thoroughly explain the room's facilities."

"Our first stop on this family trip to Chengdu, Sichuan, was this long-standing five-star hotel. We initially booked it for its prime location, but we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service. The rooms are well soundproofed, ensuring a quiet stay despite being in a bustling downtown area. The comfortable mattresses allowed the seniors in our family to sleep soundly. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, and the pastries and desserts were excellent, a big hit with the kids. Upon arrival, one of our rooms wasn't fully prepared, so we had to wait briefly. However, the very next day, the hotel proactively upgraded our room. When checking out, we accidentally left behind a thermos and some food from the mini-fridge. The hotel customer service proactively arranged for these items to be sent via free fresh delivery to our next hotel – truly above and beyond service! The whole family was thoroughly impressed, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip to Chengdu."

"The overall ambiance was incredibly comfortable, and the host was absolutely wonderful! Waking up high above was so refreshing and pleasant. All the amenities, including the kitchenware, kitchen facilities, air conditioning, and projector, were excellent.
