Let me just say, the hotel staff delivering takeout right to your room is absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, right next to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, and only 500 meters from the Sichuan Museum. It's also very close to Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli, and just a 10-minute ride to Chunxi Road, with taxis readily available. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious too. Everything was just excellent. When we left, it was raining, and they even walked us to our taxi with an umbrella – that's amazing service! Plus, it truly lives up to its 'quiet in the bustling city' feel; sleeping was very peaceful, not noisy at all. I would definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Chengdu.

Guest UserTo be honest, the hotel facilities are a bit old, but the service is truly heartwarming. This was a family trip, and on our second day out, my daughter complained to me, 'Why did you pick such an old hotel?' I told her it was because the reviews were great and the location was good. After a full day of sightseeing, when we returned to the hotel that evening, my daughter saw all the thoughtful little gestures from the staff and immediately said she wanted to take back what she'd said earlier that day. For example, seeing our wet clothes hanging in the room, the staff added an extra drying rack so we could neatly hang everything. Knowing we had a child, they provided a child's toothbrush, slippers, and even kids' shampoo and body wash. And every day, they'd arrange our dolls in different playful poses on the bed, which was really charming and childlike. So, out of five stars, I'd give it 4.5. The 0.5 deduction is for the hotel facilities; everything else was excellent, and the location is superb.

Guest UserStaying at this Marriott in Chengdu with my parents was a fantastic experience. The service was incredibly thoughtful – they helped us with our luggage, gave us weather updates, and even provided extra toiletries, earplugs, and welcome fruit. The room itself was spacious. The hotel breakfast was also very rich, offering a great selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, and everything tasted delicious. For its price range, this hotel is definitely top-notch, offering excellent value for money.

Guest UserI was very satisfied with my stay. There are many accommodations in Qingcheng Mountain, and I chose this one. Before check-in, a staff member called to ask if I needed the hot tub filled in advance, which was great – I could just soak right upon arrival. The private hot tub in the room also offered good privacy, with a canopy overhead. The hotel is located directly opposite Qingcheng Mountain High-speed Rail Station. Parking is also very convenient, with its own underground parking lot. There's also a playground for kids, making it quite suitable for family travel. They provided afternoon tea, which included cold brew tea, fruit, and pastries. This place is pet-friendly, allowing dogs, which is perfect for those traveling with their furry friends. The breakfast was light but quite delicious. The front desk was responsive. It's definitely worth staying here; I plan to bring my kids next time for a cool escape. There's also a 24-hour FamilyMart right at the entrance, making it very convenient for buying things.

JiangnanyangfengI stumbled upon this hotel by chance. While dining in the restaurant, I discovered there's a pool inside, which immediately set a perfect vacation vibe. Breakfast by the pool, a relaxing swim – it was delightful. The hotel's cafe offers a wide variety of food, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. The room was clean and tidy; though not huge, it had all the necessary functions and was very well-equipped. They even offer late-night snacks! I arrived back late, but they thoughtfully kept mine at the front desk for me, which was incredibly heartwarming. The service was very warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. If you're traveling to Chengdu, this is an excellent choice. It's just a few minutes' walk from Huapaifang Metro Station! Next time, let's meet here for a vacation, chat about travel and food; life is always full of expectations…

Guest UserThis hotel is really great! It was a pleasant surprise. While it might be smaller in scale compared to something like China Railway hotels, both the service and the rooms are charming and quiet. The breakfast selection is extensive, and dinner was delicious too! For the hot springs, about 4-5 pools were open, and it's a sulfur spring!

Chengdu Taikoo Li Atour S Hotel (No. 1 Dongkangshi Street) - A Real Review
📍Location: Located at No. 1 Dongkangshi Street, Jinjiang District, right inside the Taikoo Li area. It's a 1-3 minute walk to the core of Taikoo Li and 5-7 minutes to IFS and Chunxi Road. Chunxi Road Metro Station Exit B is about a 450-meter, 7-minute walk away. Shopping and dining are incredibly convenient, and you don't have to walk far to get back to the hotel at night.
Its location beats out other hotels in the same price range.
Service is consistently good.
Front desk check-in is quick.

sherrywen4The hotel is located in the heart of Chengdu, making it super convenient for getting around and dining out. We had three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which was perfect for traveling with seniors and kids, giving everyone their own space and privacy. The bathroom fixtures are American Standard, so the amenities are top-notch. We stayed in room 4103, and the cleaning staff was incredibly polite, keeping the room spotless every day – it felt just like home. The balcony right outside the door was a huge help for drying clothes. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Chengdu, two thumbs up!

AviourThe room itself was beautifully decorated, but the biggest surprise was the excellent hotel service, especially from Lotus, our concierge. Not only did she help me receive a delivery, but she also looked after the fresh produce it contained and even helped me carry things up and down. She deserves a special shout-out, as she really kicked off my trip to Chengdu and the snowy mountains on a high note!

Guest UserOverall, this hotel is really good, and the stay was quite comfortable. The breakfast selection is rich, with both Chinese and Western options, offering plenty of choices to cater to different tastes. The staff are professional and responsive, making guests feel well-cared for. However, I'd like to mention two minor details: the scent in the ground floor lobby is a bit strong; it can be a little pungent when you first walk in, though it gets better on the 25th floor where the main hotel lobby is located. I suggest the hotel could tone it down a bit. Also, room service deliveries aren't allowed to guest rooms, which I assume is for security reasons and is understandable, but it does mean a slight inconvenience for guests. And finally, you can't reach your room directly by one elevator; you need to transfer, which is a bit troublesome when you have luggage. These minor issues don't overshadow the positives, and overall, it's still highly recommendable. One more thing: the internet wasn't very good; it would be great if it could be optimized.
