"Not great value for money, and the overall experience was pretty mediocre. The fact that the island was reclaimed from the sea, and the various buildings on it, are quite astonishing, but it's a real shame how many areas are neglected and falling into disuse. With over 5,000 rooms, the hotel had a high occupancy rate during the holiday, making the lobby feel like a chaotic market, packed with people and incredibly noisy. There were significant delays for check-in, and breakfast was practically a free-for-all, with extremely poor food quality. Room cleanliness was terrible; there were scratches all over the walls, and the bed runner was damaged and still had dried food crumbs from the previous guest on it – makes you wonder how long it hadn't been washed. The room itself was tiny, and when I asked for an extra pillow, I was told they didn't have any. We were a family of one adult and two children, both around six years old, but were told we had to purchase an additional child's breakfast, as two small children couldn't count as one adult. For nearly 600 RMB a night, with nothing included, it really wasn't worth it."

"I have always been longing for Ocean Flower Island, so I just went there. The beautiful boss is very enthusiastic. I love you. She called us as soon as I made the reservation and helped us plan the transportation and precautions. It doesn't take too long to take a taxi from the high-speed rail station, and it is quite easy to find after getting off. The surrounding area is relatively mature business districts, and it is very convenient for eating and living. Hearing that we came here for the reputation of Ocean Flower Island, the boss specially upgraded us to a sea view room with a good view. At night, we stood on the balcony, blowing the sea breeze and drinking a little wine. It felt so comfortable. The room facilities are complete, comparable to a star-level apartment. Manual five-star praise!!!"

"The hotel has a fantastic ambiance! Our room was clean and comfy, and the bedding was super soft. It's really convenient for getting around; close to the Twin Towers beach, and there's a vibrant food street nearby, making dining and sightseeing a breeze. The service was attentive and warm, truly a perfect experience."

"The view is excellent, overlooking the bay between Baimajing and Island No. 2. You can walk to the beach opposite. There are many restaurants downstairs, including a self-service hot pot for 28 yuan, a Lawson convenience store that can meet most needs, and two large supermarkets nearby. The swimming pool is the one in the residential area opposite. Its shape is similar to the one in the main picture, but it's not surrounded by sand; it's an outdoor swimming pool in the residential area. The water looked very clean, but it was a bit cold those days, so we didn't use it. There are free buses on the island, and the bus stop is a few minutes' walk away. The internet is stable. If you don't need to cook, staying for a few days is a great option."

"The room was a real surprise! Because of the scenery and the spaciousness. From the 11th floor, you can see the unobstructed river view, the No. 2 sea crossing bridge, the sparse crowds, and the residents singing loudly. The scenery is really good, and the location is convenient. There is a large supermarket on the first floor below, and there are small restaurants nearby (the price of vegetables is a bit high). The underground floor is the parking garage, which costs 5 yuan for overnight stay. The room is very large and suitable for a family of 4. Although the room is the last room facing the corridor, it looks a bit evil, but because the door faces the window view, the evil spirit should be empty; There is a room on the left and right, both with bathrooms, convenient for bathing, and convenient for two families to live in. The kitchen is complete with microwave ovens, kettles, and refrigerators, which are very convenient to use. The overall hygiene of the house is OK, because there are not too many complicated facilities and it looks simple. There is a little smell of hexachlorobenzene in the corner of the sofa in the living room. I wonder if it is used for insecticide? You need to open more windows for ventilation; the bathroom in the master bedroom has a serious odor; and the peephole of the door is open, so you must be sure to block it yourself. There is also a half-moon-shaped hole in the smart lock of the door, which also needs to be blocked by yourself. The privacy is a little poor: you can see the living room anyway (the last picture)."

"We went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels. Cleanliness: overall quite clean. Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island. Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced. Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them."
